He glanced up toward her, but only for a moment before turning his gaze elsewhere. Shaking his head, the man took his rifle off his back and rested it against the side of the chair. Laying down, he used his arm for a pillow and closed his eyes.

She snorted. "I don't want to do this anymore, I want to wake up from the nightmare, I just want it to end, I want to wake up in a bed somewhere else, I just..I just don't want this.." She said looking around and sitting down in a nearby chair.
She just stared at Reeve for a minute then turning away to look around the room more, she too closed her eyes softly and dozed off.

Reeve opened one eye, to see what Carrie was doing. Chuckling to himself as he noticed her laying down on the other chair, he sat up quietly and simply stared for a few moments.
"I'm just taking a break for a minute. If you fall asleep, I'm not carrying you. I'll pick you up and throw you over that railing if anything."

Without opening her eyes she spoke. "You would carry me, if I begged enough, you would do it." She said with a slight laugh and smile.
Curling up into a ball in the chair.
"So, are we going to that door, are we going to rest alittle while longer." She said with a slight yawn and opening one of her eyes and looking at Reeve.

Reeve laughed, shaking his head.
"No, I wouldn't Now you can stay here and sleep. I'm getting the hell out of the city."
With that, he rose up from the chair and picked up his rifle - slinging it back over his shoulder as he moved over to the doorway opposite the one that they had came in with. Using his left hand, he turned the knob and pulled it open - leaving the room and closing the door behind him. Turning right, he jogged lightly down the hallway to the door at the opposite end.

"Agreed. S.T.A.R.S aren't trained to die so quickly. There are bound to be a few more besides me and you. We need to locate any other members. I've lost most of their radio contacts since the last mission, but if we search the town in halves, we should find most of them."

"Such a hardass." She mumbled then with a slight smile she jolted up from the chair and grabbing her rifle from the side and slinging it over her shoulder aswell.
Leaving the room they were in and following along side with Reeve.
"Wait up Reeve, you know I want to get out of here just as much as you do, I mean I did suggest it." She said with ahalf smile as she walked with him.
"Were going to the car lot, right?" She said looking around the hallway.
Hearing the moans of the creatues fom somewhere inside the building.
They heard a shot fired from the other side of the door they were about to enter, then they heard a scream and a thud.
"What, was that?" She asked in a slightly shakey voice.

Tomi visibly paled at the commotion coming from the other end of the room. She could vaguely hear footsteps, and they were coming in fast.
Sighing and checking her gun slightly, she took note at the amount on bullets she had left. Two in this one. Sighing, she instinctively fingered the extra ammo in her pocket. It wasn't nearly enough, she knew she'd just have to snag more from the backroom before she left.
Not waiting for the other two behind her to follow, Tomi stepped further into the dimly lit room. Pointing her gun threateningly at the average sized wooden door, as the footsteps became closer.

"No. We're going out this door, down the hall, skipping a door and down to the last one. From there we can get onto the roof and there is some stairs leading down to the parking lot by the garage. If that doesn't work, we can wrap around the building down there and exit out the guard's post."
He said, turning the handle a bit and nudging the door open a crack. From there, he backed up from the door and brought his rifle around from his back and up to face the doorway. With his foot, he extended it forward and pushed the door inward. In creeked as it moved right to the hall, revealing a hallway leading down to a doorway and turning left.
"You want to go first or am I going to have to because you're afraid?"

"Afraid." She said sticking her tongue out at him. "Plus, ladies don't always go first, even though it's the polite thing to do."
She then shook her head and got serious.
Rasing her rifle, and watching Reeve's back as he entered the door to the roof.
There was a loud crashfr om somewhere on the roof and another thud.
AS they walked out alittle ways on the roof, a body of a cop lay with his chest cut open along with his neck.
His handgun laying a few feet from his body.
"Please forgive me." She said as she stepped over his body and took the gun and checked him for bullets,finding a small box of them.
"See, i'm taking after you." She said, when finishing her sentence a shadowed figure jumped right behind her from one of the vents.

"No you aren't. I wouldn't be dumb enough to apologize to dead bodies."
He said, a smirk slipping it's way across his face as he lowered his firearm.. Only to raise it back up moments later as the figure came out of the nearby vents behind Carrie. Shaking his head slowly, he spoke once more:
"And you might want to move unless you wish whoever it is behind you to get a good feel of your a**."

She laughed then looked at him."Wha?" She turned around the took a dive to the right, as the creature leaped towards her.
In the light of the moon it could be seen, it was on all fours, it looked like was skinless and it's brain was showing clearly, it hissed and crept toeards Reeve, extending it's tongue, which appeared to be sharp and bloodly.
"Jesus, what the hell is that thing?" She asked getting up off the floor and raising the new found handgun.

"I don't know."
He said, bringing the scope of his rifle up and closing one eye as he looked through it.
"But I hope it likes bullets."
After he spoke, he pulled the trigger with the crosshair on what appeared to be the brain of the creature, immediately afterward his right hand moved up to pull the bolt on his rifle and eject the cartridge before moving back down to the trigger.

She winced slightly and as the thing fell, and a flow of blood quickly coming form it's head it lay still.
She stepped towards it slowly and poked it with her foot.
"It's dead, nice shot, but it's not human, must be one of Umbrella's creation." She mumbled the last part under her breath.
She scanend the top of the roof and sighed. "Where's the ladder?" She asked takign a few steps away from the body of the creature.

"Stairs, actually."
He said, moving over to the corpse. Pressing his foot on the head of the creature, he turned to the side a little and pressed the end of his rifle right up to it's head. Squeezing it, blood smeared all over the ground and the head jumped a little with the force of the bullet. Laughing, he ejected another shell and headed over to the lower-right point on the roof and headed down the stairwell there to the ground.
