Sorrels sudden closeness caused Greg to suddenly freeze for a moment as he sat there and certain he would be found out and embarrassed. Despite being momentarily frozen in time, Greg managed to remain composed. On the inside however, he was freaking the ******** out. His heart began to race and his face beginning to turn to a faint hue of red. The mixture of the heat from the spring and heat from embarrassment was taking an effect on him as he felt like he might just pass out. Passing out would be even more embarrassing so he had to get out of this situation fast.

Looking at the male as he examined his forehead, he quickly reached out and held to males wrist gently and pulled it down and away from him as he flashed the fakest smile he could muster. "I'm fine, just have to get used to the heat is all. Go ahead and swim about, you seem to be enjoying the water more than me." He let out a shaky laugh as he scooted away from Sorrel and for the mean time kept his arms in the water with his hands on his lap trying as best he could to conceal his little secret.

Sorrel was reluctant to leave the other side, but let Greg move his hand away regardless. "if you say so... but let me know if you need anything." He voiced before shifting away from the other male and stretching his arms up, before letting himself sink into a deeper part of the pool, leaning back against the edge of the pool and tilting his head back, bright aqua eyes fluttering shut as he relaxed, letting himself simply soak comfortably.

After awhile of merely sitting there he let his eyes blink open, looking up at the stars- pleased by how bright they were. "Pretty" He murmured softly, actually managing to forget about the other male sitting in the pool with him. Which Greg was probably quite grateful for.

Time seemed to have gone by so slow. Greg had sat there quietly the whole time trying to figure out how to deal with his little situation. One thing was certain, looking or staring at Sorrel only made it worse. He's never had a conversation about the human body with anyone. There was once when he was curious and asked his dad a question about what made boy sand girls different when he was a child. All he was told was that there was no need for him to know now and that he'd learn about it later. Later came, and nothing. Of course he learned about the difference himself through readings and what not. Other than that he was very much clueless as to how human sexuality worked.

"Ehem..." Greg cleared his throat in hopes of getting Sorrel's attention. When he did, he shifted uncomfortably again while searching for the right words. He avoided eye contact as he went on to say, "So uh...guy to guy. Have you ever been aroused...like looking at a woman? Or guy?" He muttered the last part as he wasn't sure if Sorrel preferred men or women. Hell he wasn't too sure what he himself preferred. The only time he was ever attracted to someone was never....at least up until now which was all so new to him.

Sorrel let his gaze shift from the stars slowly, taking in the other males form with a lazy blink, one brow raised in questioning as to why the other had cleared his throat. Which turned into two raised brows as the male presented his question. "Ah" he voiced, caught quite off guard by the question- finding the timing of it quite...peculiar. "Well...I suppose I've found other attractive, enough to arouse curiosity, but nothing really special. There are many attractive men and women within the tribe, and gender isn't really an issue. But i've had no special attraction to anyone in particular, no."

"Why do you ask?" He added, curious as to what could have sparked a question of such a personal manner. It just seemed out of the blue- but then again perhaps Greg had found himself someone he was attracted to in such a way?It was entirely possible. As he had said there were many attractive people in the tribe. For some reason the thought left him slightly uneasy, but he simply pushed the thought aside. "Has someone caught your fancy?" he voiced, keeping his tone light and friendly.

It was a bit unfortunate that Sorrel hadn't necessarily found anyone attractive so it was hard to tell if he's personally had the situation he was dealing with now. He certainly didn't want to go out and ask, that was too embarrassing. He had half a mind to drop the subject and maybe ask an adult about it later. Dorian seemed like a pretty understanding guy but he felt like he was too much of a jokester to ask. The last thing he wants is to have Dorian laughing and telling other people about it. Perhaps Sikari could be someone to talk to, he seemed a lot more gentle and understanding. Greg was certainly leaning toward that solution by the time Sorrel got to asking Greg a personal question.

Someone had certainly caught his fancy but he was not about to admit that. Of course Greg wasn't too good with lying as he looked away, rubbing his head and letting out a shaky chuckle. "Hahaha, no no not at all. I was just uh...curious I suppose..." He continued to look away as he simply stared off to the right looking at the jungle where nothing particularly interesting was happening. It certainly did seem like he did in fact like someone.

Sorrel let a thoughtful hum resonate behind closed lips, not believing the other male at all due to his suspicious behaviour. "Oh? really?" he mused, an impish grin slipping onto his lips as he slid forward, not too close, but close enough that he knew the other would see him in his peripherals. "You're lying" He stated simply, though that mischievous grin remained upon his lips. "Hmm?" He hummed, slinking back as to watch the other male, his gaze rather calm, with a hint of amusement dancing behind his bright eyes.

a soft chuckle slipped from his lips as he stretched languidly in the hot water, tilting his head back once again. "You don't have to tell me, I'm just teasing you" He purred contently, though now he was sitting opposite of the other male, not caring about the proximity at all. Of course he wasn't in quite the situation that Greg was in.

Chills ran down his spine when Sorrel got close and called Greg out on his lie. He seriously needed to learn how to lie better. Nonetheless he tried to remain calm and composed, his hands still doing their best to conceal what the real problem is. He let Sorrel have his little fun but the male was still too close to comfort. The whole goal at this point was to avoid eye contact along with not looking at Sorrel completely. There was just something about being alone in the spring wih him that seemed right. It was becoming slightly unbearable, but what could he do?

He simply had to word his lie in a way that was truthful. After a moment he protested, "Really, there is no one in the village at this moment that I like. I find non attractive what so ever." That came out more confident and truthful. In fact it was truthful. Sorrel and himself were not in the village right now so he wasn't technically lying.

Sorrel eyed the other male suspiciously for a moment, before once again letting his gaze wander to the sky. "Hm.. perhaps a lady back where you're from? Or a gentleman i suppose" he voiced with ease, not prodding anymore, merely stating what made sense to him. "Though i had thought you planned on staying here... and i doubt many people where you are from would find this life all that appealing" He mused, a small quirk raising the corners of his lips. He let himself fall silent for a while longer, until something that Greg had said earlier that evening struck him.Hadn't he expressed that he had found Sorrel to be attractive earlier on when they had been walking back to camp?

Suddenly the heat felt more intense, perhaps because he could feel his face warming - surely he was misreading the situation. He let his gaze drift back to Greg- curiosity swimming in his gaze, though he remained quiet, simply examining the others face for a moment. A thoughtful expression crossed the males features for a moment, before he simply shook his head and moved to stand- his gaze dropping tot his own pants which were heavy with water and clinging to him in a rather uncomfortable manner. "Well, I suppose I should head back and get some sleep" He murmured, returning his gaze to greg- unaware of the fact that his gaze was probably unsettling to the other. Lifting his hands he smoothed his hair back once more- a movement he would see as ordinary, though it also left him far more exposed to the eye. "Don't soak for too long, or you'll get sick" He added, moving past Greg and pulling himself out of the pool with ease. He stopped to stoop down and grab his shirt- glancing at greg one last time"Are you sure you're okay?" he asked one last time, unsure if he should be leaving Greg on his own.

Greg had opened his mouth to let Sorrel know that there was no one back home that he liked either. There was also the fact that he may not ever return home since there was no reason to do so in the first place. Instead, he sat there quietly and continued to look about the area as if observing the wildlife and taking it all in. He was still simply doing his best to avoid looking at Sorrel. When the water began to ripple and move more, he looked over to see Sorrel stand and expose upper body again. Greg looked away quickly and minded his own business while waitng for him to leave. At least with Sorrel gone he could relax and get rid of the problem going on down below.

"Ah alright, have a pleasant night," He replied while giving a little wave, his eyes on the males feet before he looked away and started to gaze at the stars.

He smiled a bit when Sorrel asked if he was sure he was okay. Greg nodded, "Yes, 100%. Don't worry." He looked over at the male and gave him a genuine, warm and charming smile before looking back up at the stars.

Sorrel nodded slowly, a soft smile tugging at his lips, though it was obvious he was still worried about the other male. "Alright, if you say so.Goodnight Greg" He voiced, before he made his way down the path and made his way back to the hut he shared with his parents. It seemed that Dorian and Sikari had lit a fire earlier and it was still burning away, though the fire was sure to die in an hour or so. Regardless the promise of warmth was enough to entire Sorrel as he went to his room only to change and return to the fire, curling up on the furs that had accumulated on the floor- quite content to nap next to the dying fire.

When he woke in the morning, he was tangled up in furs and quite content to simply not move- so instead of getting up and being productive, he sprawled out like a big cat and laid there. Sikari was the first to great him in the morning, raising a brow at his own sons laziness.

"Lazy day i surmise?" His father spoke, his words soft- the slightest hint of amusement dancing in his tone. He knew how those days were, though they were few and far between for him. After all he had a tribe, and Dorian to take care of. Not that he minded.

Sorrel simply smiled up at his father and stretched out even more- a big grin on his face. " Mhmmmmm" he replied quite contently as Sikari nudged him with his foot, before simply shaking his head and walking away, chucking to himself.

Once Sorrel was gone, things became normal again and he was able to finally relax. He spent a good hour in the spring until it was time to get out, if not the heat would get to him and he would be found floating around in the spring unconscious and possibly dead from drowning. When he stepped out he was met with the brisk night air as he quickly made his way back to the hut he was graciously provided. Surprisingly there was a fire already going though he wasn't sure who lit it, he was certainly grateful to that person since the hut was nice and warm. He slipped into some dry and warm clothes as he slipped into the makeshift bed and let the crackling fire lull him to sleep.

Soon the sun rose and morning came. Another day in a strange village on an strange island. Even so he was beginning to accept it as his home and perhaps soon he would come to love it much like the natives and even the pirates that now call this place home as well. He woke up particularly happy today and as always it took him awhile to get his legs moving simply because he wasn't used to them being function especially after sleeping since it seemed like each day here was a dream.

After freshening up, he was up and about and so was the rest of the village. It was a rather warm morning but still a bit chilly. He wondered where Sorrel was as he wondered for awhile before going to his home to check if he was there. As he approached the door to knock, it swung open and he was greeted by Dorian who flashed him a smile before walking out and heading toward the beach. There had been an unspoken conversation between the two just now. A mere glance and Greg got the gist of what Dorian had implied.

With the door still open, Greg walked in and looked around. He didn't see Sikari or Sorrel but after wondering a bit more he finally came across the other male who was sprawled on the floor on a bunch of furs. He certainly looked cozy. Greg smiled and walked over to the bed as he leaned over slightly to see if Sorrel was still sleeping since it appeared that he was. "Hey...are you asleep?"

Sorrel had heard the footsteps of the other male, though he made no move to get up. Why would he when he was so comfortable. He simply kept his eyes closed, quite content to laze about for awhile longer. However as soon as he felt Greg hovering above him, a mischievous idea popped into his head. Aquamarine eyes fluttered open, whilst an impish grin slipped onto the males lips "Nope!" He chided, before reaching out with no warning and grabbing the other males leg, tugging hardenough to make Greg fall onto the mass of furs that Sorrel had situated himself in.

He'd made sure that greg fell oonto him as to brace the fall- the male now sprawled diagonally acrross him- earning a bright laugh from Sorrel as he stretched out once more- but with more weight pressing against his gut.

He shifted his gaze to meet Gregs, a contended smile placed upon his lips as he laid there. "Lazy day" He stated simply- which meant that Sorrel would basically do what ever he pleased that day...and hopefully get away with it. "Oh! and good morning" He beamed, reaching out to ruffle the others hair, once again by habit thanks to Dorian.

Greg had assumed he was asleep so he stood upright only to have his feet pulled from under him. He heard Sorrel announce that he was not asleep before he fell down. He had braced himself but luckily it wasn't a hard fall thanks to the furs and Sorrel who had cushioned his fall. The fact that the other male lay there laughing assured Greg that he was not hurt and so he laid there for a moment trying to figure out what just happened. After assessing the situation, he realized that he was laying on top of Sorrel and that caused a light blush to grow across his face. His hair being ruffled didn't bother him however he was just caught off guard.

Looking over at the other male, Greg could see laziness written all over his face. Why was that so incredibly adorable? He would have thought that with a new day, yesterdays thoughts and feelings wouldn't have stuck. Unfortunately...or fortunately? The feelings definitely stuck.

In fact, it was feelings that were growing gradually the first day they met till now. He didn't notice before but now that they were getting stronger he had no choice but to acknowledge what he thought and felt toward Sorrel. Rather than getting off, Greg rolled off and crawled up so that he could lay beside Sorrel. He plopped down and looked up at the ceiling and didn't say anything for quite some time.

"Have you ever been in love? What does that even mean? To be in love?" When Greg spoke, those were the only words that left his mouth. He laid there continuing to stare up at the ceiling and waited to hear the males response.

Sorrel was still chuckling softy as Greg rolled off of him and crawled up to plop down beside him- now the both of therm laying on their backs staring up at the ceiling. "Well, I can't really say i've ever been 'in' love" He stated simply, a small smile still playing on his lips "But i'd like to think it's a pleasant thing- perhaps nerve wracking and terrifying at first but...well, you've seen my parents. I think that what they have- that's love. Completely devoted to each other and able to accept each other's flaws." He muttered- letting his eyes flutter shut- his hands coming up to rest on his stomach- rising and falling with each breath.

"I mean, I love my family, and the tribe- but it's different y'know? More personal." He finished, quite content next to the male at his side. "Anyway- it probably differs for each person" He stated- a sleepy yawn parting his lips as he cracked aquamarine eyes open, staring with a half lidded gaze up at the ceiling.

"I see," Greg mumbled as his eyes were half shut as it seemed that Sorrel's laziness was rather infectious. He smiled slightly as he listened to the other male continue to speak. Sorrel certainly made love sound like a great thing even after stating that it's terrifying and nerve wracking. The way he spoke about love and how his parents expressed such a feeling. It all sounded so wonderful. The word itself coming from Sorrel sounded warm and fluttery.

With a sadden smile, he spoke again, "I never thought I would really feel something as powerful as love. It seemed like something far from my reach. When I looked at my parents it was never love I saw. They were cold and tolerant with one another. I accepted that I too would be that way whether I married someone or not. Of course I always knew i would never marry for love but for my parents sake. It's odd." He paused for a moment as he turned his head to look at Sorrel. When the male laying beside him looked at him, his eyes would lock on to his.

"It's odd living in a cold dark place then suddenly waking up in a place full of warmth and.....love." His sullen expression slowly faded as a soft smile appeared instead.
