Stage 4 Avg 41 FAIL

They were almost at the end! Jericho could see Nox on the other side in fact. So what if it was a flaming lake? There were easy stepping stones there.

"Here get on my back. I got this," the dragon grinned before he started to carry Riley acro--

CHOMP

Oh. They got eaten alive.

STAGE ONE

While Pepin was too busy hacking up the entire scarecade for revenge on the dreaded obstacle course, Bul the half beast decided to go back at it. The way he saw it if he couldn't survive this one way or another he wasn't suited for going to places where students were likely to get killed.

Once more the boil could be seen in just a pair of underwear as he raced across the field and to the hurdles.

STAGE TWO

Well that was successful.. but for how long? Bul checked his lucky undergarments for any embers that may have caught on to the fabric then leaped for the next set of obstacles.

STAGE THREE

So far so good, right? Bul neglected to check himself and felt a singe on a cheek and reached back wildly patting it down until the flame went out.

DDDDD8

Bul had a hole burnt in the back of his boxers. This wasn't good.

STAGE FOUR

If Bul was worried about his only concealing object burning off, he had some even bigger problems now.

He had to cross a lake.

NOT JUST ANY LAKE, NO. A LAKE OF MOTHER ******** LAVA. He may be a cold blooded lizard thing but there was no way he could survive a fall in this. He only JUST learned how to swim.

...Well Bul had no reason to worry about his boxers anymore.

It was a new an unfamiliar place this Amityville. One Titus wasn't too thrilled to explore though he was being forced to. Soon this place would be his new residence and he needed to be familiar with the area and its inner workings. The buildings, the shops, the people, and their fears. White hazy eyes glanced about catching sight of a sign.

"Obstacle course?" What was that about? And that snarky wording at the bottom. Perhaps Titus could go and have a good laugh there was nothing better to do.

Following the signs Titus soon found the course in question arriving just in time to see a few enter and fail shortly after. A smile cracked his lips, those pointed teeth showing. This was certainly an amusing place.

It wasn't until a little squirrelly man came up to him with a form that Titus finally diverted his attention. What the jack. Titus had no idea what the man was saying, it was hard to get passed the look of him. Those beady rodent eyes just made something inside his mind twitch.

"Whatever rat boy," Titus hissed snatching the form to have a look over. It seemed he was supposed to fill this out. Did the guy honestly think he was going to run this damn course? He knew training but this was just stupid. "I can tell you were you can shove this form. Right up your-"

BAM!

There was a shot fired and Titus dropped the form to the ground sudden on guard. What the jack had that been? There it was again and this time Titus could feel the bullet just barely missing him. Eyes flaring with anger the demon took a step back looking for the...had the rat said gnomes? Where were the little beasts?

He had just turned around to ask when the demon noticed his path was now cut off by a wall of fire and it was creeping closer. Jack dammit. Guess he didn't have a choice now. Sink or swim and Titus hated to lose.

Turning to the hurtles the demon raised a brow. Had those been on fire before? There wasn't much of a choice now. Taking off as another shot rang out Titus made his way over each flaming hurtle. The last one caught his inner leg just slightly and the demon danced about trying to put out the fire.

"Jacking Hell!" Titus hissed. At least he had made it. That was something though it was a little too close for comfort. Unacceptable.

Turning away from his first obstacle Titus looked to his second, his face looking rather grim and irritated. What was with all this jack damn fire?! And the shots being fired were not easing up and now the demon could hear the little beasts calling out to him. When he found those gnomes, oh when he found them. He just had to get through the course first.

He couldn't help but feel like a trained dog having to jump through hoops. Flaming hoops like it was the circus. With a huff the demon did as he was being forced to do and jumped through each hoop doing a much better job at this than he had the hurtles. Someone at the end of this course was going to pay though. Someone was gonna pay with their hide.

Turning from the flaming hoops Titus looked up ahead to see what was next. What...in the name of Halloween. He was certainly going to have to get him some of those. Bomb minipets. They were all over the jack damn place. They would have been cooler if he didn't have to make his way through them.

Titus had started his way through trying to be wary of the bomb pets not wanting to set them off. What a way to go being blown to kingdom come. He thought he was doing well, he had made it half way through this twisted maze when he heard a bam. The shot had nearly clipped him and because of that he jerked to the side. In doing so he misplaced where he had seen a bomb pet last and tripped falling into a slew of them. JACKING HELL!

Titus didn't quite recall what happened next. The only thing he knew was that he was waking up at the FEAR clinic and no where near the obstacle course. Damn gnomes. They would surely pay.

What was this? A game? Boy this place had so many games! Never not games! Sibhan scampered her way to the one running the game, her form in hand and an anxious smile on her face. However, it faltered at their ominous words and warning. This wasn't dangerous, was it?

Too late to doubt it! The banshee had been shoo'd away toward the game, and the little ghoul skittered her way into the entrence, hope and determination in ehr eyes. A trial! A way to prove her worth as a---

OH DEAR JACK WHY IS EVERYTHING ON FIRRRRRE!

The banshee screeched in horror, standing in place as fire creeped behind her. The ends of her long tresses of hair caught fire, sending her into a panic.

She never made it an inch into the course as the ghoul burst into flames, exploding into fear with a mighty shriek of pain.

The Valentino boil was in good humor as he approached the crowded and firey set up. He hadn't ventured this close to the school since the Floresctival, and while it wasn't necissarily his ideal hot spot- hah- it was good he was attempting to be more social with the students and scarelings his age. His sister would be proud. Well, nuts to his sister, really, but whatever it was going on here... it looked competitive at least. And fun. The possibility of being horribly maimed was always good for gettin' the old blood pumping. So far he didn't notice any recognizable faces, which was unfortunate. He still couldn't shake the sight of those blue gams for miles out of his head.

At least that banshee was no where to be seen. Plenty of other cuties though. It was time to impress.

"Folks, here´s a story about Minnie the Moocher~" He sang low under his breath as he approached the flames once he had finished with the trick or treater, smirking at the screaming and excitement seething around him. He removed his coat slowly, as though just getting ready to run, and not because he was sweating bullets, his hair was already sticking to his face under his hat. And this visitor's pass meant no Boss to watch his things. Oh well, they'd get left alone if people knew what was good for 'em.

"She was a red hot hoochie-koocher~" He settled for tucking them out of the way where they hopefully wouldn't catch fire. "She was the roughest, toughest frail," He flexed his head back and forth, stretching and taking his time, mostly looking to see if any ghouls were watching him as he stepped up.
"But Minnie had a heart as big as a-"

"Enough dilly dallying go go go!" A gnome seemed impatient by his procrastination, firing off a few motivational shots to his feet that resulted in a yelp and a series of curses from the reaper boil as he leaped ahead-

"Damn stupid little AHK!" what suaveness he had tried to bottle was thrown out the window as he leaped over the first hurtle.

They must have engineered these things for giants, was his first thought as his leg hooked on a fiery plank, his second more along the lines of, "ROCK, ROCK-", twisting just in time to NOT hit his head on the rock in the grass.

He severely hoped none of those pretty ghouls had seen the bit where he flailed about ungracefully trying to put out the flames.

And if anyone laughed, came his mental pep-talk, he'd break their noses.

For an obstacle course, this place had it's papers written nicely. TG had inspected the written disclaimer that placed no responsibility on the course owners, staff, and the laborers contracted to create such a crazy course. Typically he wouldn't sign anything, but he checked for any finger print, pulling out a magnifying glass that would detect any hidden ink, and with a frown, set the paper down and signed his nickname.

That done, he turned to the course in question, starting at the beginning and looking at the long line that glowed orange as flames dotted the entire course. He didn't mind fire since he lived near a volcano, but that didn't mean he wanted to be burned. Tightening his jacket, he started to walk. There was no way he was going to win this race on physical skill. That was something left to lowly monsters and lumbering undead. No. He was going to take it easy.

First off was the hurdles which he in no way was going to jump over. Even if he tried really hard, he would probably just make the top. Instead, he picked up the pace and decided to jog under them.

The flames danced about his horns, and ducking, TG raced under them and to the other side. HAH!

One course down, TG moved to the next stage only to find hoops. WHY DID ALL THESE THINGS INVOLVE JUMPING? This game was clearly biased against the smaller creatures, and the imp felt he would need to file a complaint against the course that it was in favor of those taller than him. Well, maybe he could just avoid it all together like he had done the hurdles.

Turning, he flicked his tail and made to move about the rings when he heard the shots and shouts of some gnomes. He had heard them teasing in the background but had paid them no mind, but now they were shooting at him! LOWLIFES! Braindead, slime-lapping, stump-humping freaks! They had no right to shoot at him, and he glared up at them. "I'LL HAVE YOU SUED FOR THAT!" He shouted, hoping that the tiny workers got packed up in a crate and shipped off to work in some copper mines.

Turning, he glared up at the rings and breathed deep. At least his coat was fire proof. As for him. Well....not so much.

By whatever power, he managed to jump one hoop and moved to the other, already feeling winded. When he tried the next hoop, he managed to jump higher only to feeling his behind singed, and then raced in a panic through the last.

He made it, though now his tailored pants were slightly singed. Who was going to pay for this?! He could, but he felt someone else should be responsible.

Jack it! TG moved on to the next course.

"Are you serious?" TG stood, looking at the oddest and most dangerous version of tetherball he had ever seen. He watched as the bombs swung around madly like dogs leashed to a chain before two hit each other, making the imp chuckle and then jerk back when the pair exploded.

"OH COME ON!" He yelled, but looked up at a pair of gnomes line him up in their sights. Great. At least he didn't have to jump into anything over over anything. He just had to run.

He hated running. Short legs made this course twice as long. THIS WAS SO UNFAIR!

Huffing, he drew up his hood and then raced in.

At least his small stature served him well. The balls danced and swung about and nearly took off one of his horns, but he made it to the other size much to the disappointment of the gnome audience above.

Last was a lake of lava that reminded him a lot of home. Still, looking about, he saw no bridge but a set of rocks. WHAT WAS WITH ALL THIS JUMPING??!!! This wasn't an obstacle course as much as it was a hopping mess of fire. He didn't get it at all, but he could look up and see the end. He just had to get over this mess of a lake and be done with it.

Jumping, he landed on a rock. There. That was simple. He swung his arms and hopped to the other, and was already tired of this. Couldn't they just have a bridge on fire by now? A ferry boat of fire?

He heard some noises and turned about.

Okay, he didn't request FISH ON FIRE!!!

TG turned about and picked up the pace.

TG walked to the finish line, looked up at the cocky SOB who stood there waiting, and then flopped down on his bottom. Done. He was done. Never again would he go through his little course. He liked fire, but this was making him consider planning a trip to some frigid wasteland as a getaway. The idea though made him shiver and he tightened his thick jacket. Okay, maybe he didn't hate fire that much. Still.
