"Alright elf, I believe you," Napier whispered back. Napier started to move throught the grasses towards the loud orcish sounds. He hoped that Elrothiel was correct, for if not it might take his life. Uruk-Hai were tough, and usually a man and an elf, possible two if Thomas arrived fast enough, could not survive, but Napier thought that they had a chance. He stepped up and sure enough Uruk-Hai were shuffling through the grasses. There were others, but Napier could not recongize them. He quietly pulled back his arrow, and let it fly straight into an Uruk-Hai's chest. Many grunts shouted out amounst the group...

Elrothiel raised her sword and it glinted in the sunlight. The elven runes on it burning with a mysterious light. "For the good of us all." She said quietly in her own tongue before throwing herself at the Uruk-Hai, taking them by surprise.

"Well... now that you mention it, and I've heard it often now, I don't doubt it. I wonder what they're going to do about it? If all this is in fact true, which it most likely is, they'll probably send a group out or something." She turned to the road as Sila did.
"Oh, they're sendin a group." Sila said as she narrowed her eyes. "The king is sending one of his sons and councilers..." She sighed and tried to will away her anger.

"Anyway, although I really shouldn't do it, why don't we just skip the human encampment and go to Rivendel? I mean it's actualy pretty close, from what I can gather..."
"Do you not mean the Steward? Gondor has no king now, except talk of Aragorn who is suppose to be heir." She didn't mind of talking of the history of men, but it seemed that it did bother Sila as she noticed her companion looked a little angry. "I really don't see a purpose in going to Rivendell, but I guess it would be intersting to see this 'group' go off. It's not like there's any other place interesting to go at the moment, otherwise."

Napier stayed back and emptied his quiver, piercing many Uruk-Hai. After he had killed many of the brutes he strapped his bow on, unsheiled his long sword, and ran into the group following Elrothiel. The battle was very hectic, for the heavy blunted blades of the Uruk-Hai were flying everywhere. Napier managed to block many of the blades, and felled many with a single stroke.

"Hu? The... Oh." Sila shook her head. "No I meant, my King, King Thranduil. He is sending prince Legolas and two councilers. Although I suppose that the steward of Gondor might send someone..." She was growing more angery now. Before she had been a little annoyed, mostly becuase of the fact that she was not amoung the group from Mirkwood going, but now.... She shook her head, and tried to push down a little of her anger.

"I would like to go and see the prince off." She said, trying to change the topic. "And seeing all those from Rivendell would not be bad eather."

Erestor shook his head lightly as he placed a hand upon Nimrondell's. "No I am quite alright....just many things come to mind....that is all." The pair would soon realize many of those summoned will be late and are asked to stay close. "This will be most tiresome.....Nimrondell care to walk with me a bit? I grow weary of waiting and Lord Elrond says we shall be summoned, I know not if you have been here before but I did assist in the building of Imladris as after Gondolin fell this is where I refuged.....

I can show you the places where most eyes even Elronds young sons have yet to see, this dell holds many forgotten places of secret from armories to rooms full of scrolls about times long past. But first if you allow....id like to go by the waterfall.....it always brings me peace...shall we?" He bent low but not ridiciously low as respect and grace were paramount for Erestor as he awaited Nimrondell's reponse as beautiful long indigo hair covered his face.

"Oh! I'm sorry... My missunderstanding." She laughed a bit to her stupidness. "Yes, Legolas is going I heard. Denethor is sending out his son.... um.... Boromir." The thought of seeing the prince of Mirkwood came to mind, even just a glance. She had heard so much about him, but not once even seen his face.

Nimrondell smiled as Erestor told her that he was fine, just that many things now flowed through his mind. Erestor set his hand on hers and she smiled, he had a very soft touch. "Care to walk with me a bit" Erestor asked her as began to stand. The coucil would be prosponed as some of the council members were yet to arrive. Erestor told her that he had assisted in the building of her home and other things. Then he bowed to her lightly and she looked at him with friendly eyes as his beautiful hair fell into his smooth skin. "I would enjoy that, the waterfall is also my favorite place here. For Imladris is my home, though now i do not live here as you well know" Nimrondell said in her sweet song like voice. Her bright green eyes falling upon Erestor's as he rose to his full hight, Nimrondell quickly moved her eyes to the side to avoid his gaze. "Shall we" Nimrondell said as she steped up next to Erestor, a little of her dark hair fell into her eyes as she moved to stand there.

"Yes... Boromir... I have heard of him.... But do not worry. The mistake is one that many people could make. After all I was not spesific." She smiled and looked over at her, head cocked.

"Is there some one that you are thinking of now?" she asked cureously.

Elrothiel fought with a furious calm, her eyes glinting dangerously as she thrust and parried, her sword crusted with blood up to the hilt. One of the Uruk-Hai was hacking at her with a large weapong and dodging him she swept around to hit him from behind. He parried and the gruesome battle continued. She ducked and parried again and again from the cumbersome weapon many times the size of hers. He was clearly stronger but she was more agile and her reflexes were quicker. She dodged again aiming a blow at his sword arm. He parried again and as he did so another Uruk-Hai caught her a glancing blow on the shoulder of her left arm. The elven mail took most of the damage but even so the blood flowed and she winced with pain. With a swift upper cut she hacked his head from his shoulders and turned back to the other who stood leering at her.

Thomas slide down behind Naiper, somehow managing not to stab him with his lance, but he did hit NAiper on the head with his ladle, "Ok I'm whispering now, we should kill those Uruk-hai. Then we can take over Isengard. Are you with me?" Then Thomas threw a stone at the enemy.

Anduin shook her head. "NO big deal. I was just thinking of prince Legolas. I've never seen the man before and yet everywhere I go there's always stories around about him. Have you ever seen him, being he lived in you lived in his land and all? Pure curiosity."

Napier had no time to answer Thomas, for he had three Uruk-Hai surrounding him. Their large cleaver-like weapons pionted at his head. Napier rolled under one the Uruk's weapons, and took off his leg with a single stroke. The other two swung at him, but he was already back on his feet, and able to parry them. he quickly thrust his sword backward and stabbed the already wounded Uruk in his chest. But, unable to pull his sword back around in time, the menacing enemy's weapon slashed him across the gut. He winced in pain and fell to the ground.

"Pure curiosity?" Sila asked with a smile. "That is what many have said before they..." She shook her head and laughed slightly. "But it seems as if you are genuan. Yes. I have seen him. I was one of the body guards of his sister, and one of my brothers was one of Legolas'. My family has been the body guards of his family as far back as anyone can remeber and as far as we can find." She explained.

She laughed a bit to herself. "Yes. Curiosity." She rode quietly for a while not knowing what else to say.

Elrothiel felt the pain in her head that only meant one thing. Hurt to an ally. Her head spun and then cleared and her eyes flashed in anger. She turned and saw Napier on the ground. "Oh no... " She said almost without noticing. I'm not ready for this yet. I can't stand it after everything that happened... As the Uruk-Hai who had been leering at her swung at her again she parried and without drawing back first continued with a deadly thrust to the heart. Surprise appeared on its ugly face for a moment, frozen in time and she stared at it. Then the light in its eyes went out and she wrenched her hand free, covered with its blood and her own and ran to Napier. Oblivious of the orcs around her she lent over him. "We need a diversion Thomas! Do something!" She shouted over the noise and felt his wound gently. "Let him be spared... don't let this happen yet... I am not strong enough... for more death... the pain in my head made by death is not mounting... he can't be dead... he can't..." She spoke almost desperately in her own tongue, feeling the horror of that night engulfing her again but she held on to her senses knowing that if she didn't he would definitely die. Without thinking she ripped open the front of his clothes exposing the wound to the air. It was nasty and she would never be able to heal it fully by herself. But if she didn't try then he would bleed to death... She tooka deep breath, struggling for the inner calm she achieved in battle. " By the grace of the lady and the power of the three may he live. I call upon the power of the ancient world of my kin... May you help me here." She waited holing her breath, to see if it would work. It could be possible his body would reject the healing and he would heal with time or only by his own people but as she looked at him she knew he would probably never get that far. A tear slid gracefully down her cheek as she thought of the lives that had already paid the forfeit for Sauron's greed and the lives that had not yet been lost but would...
