David just smiled back at Shay as she eyed him with a look that indicated she was staring at strange thing/person. He thought for a second about the dangers and the pain and location and came to the conclusion that this forest had life so they could really easily wait and a good position. Not to mention the fact there was water near by. "Let's stay then, we got a safe spot!"

[[...i am sorry for the long period of inactivity...a household argument has left me with no choice but to live in another residence....which unfortunately has no access to the internet...my apologies wolf. apparently for this period of inactivity, I have also been demoted from a demon lord...T.T...which i guess is understandable considering the situation...and i don't quite know if I'll be able to post anytime soon after today...]]

Shay nodded in response, yet a shadow of doubt passed over her expression. She then looked over at David with a worried expression, “I hope you'll be comfortable with helping me clean my wounds and changing them as well... will you be ok? That is, are you ok with it?” It was more of a trick question of sorts, but mainly she just wanted to know if he was ok with it, and that he wouldn't take advantage of her.

David turned his eyes towards Shay with his usual smile, under the hooded cape. "It won't be a bother to aid you. We've become partners by fate perhaps and partners do assist each other if it is with watch aid or battle." Then his head quickly turn a deer was passing by a hundred meters away or so. Also the wind was in favor of David. "I'll bring meat as I come back. Listen to the crow in major." He whispered as he more or less moved away silent as a shadow. The arrow was ready to be fired but still he needed to get closer.

Shay smiled back at David from both his smile and by his comment.
"Thanks... happy hunting." She called back and began to got through her satchel.

David moved along with the deer so that his scent would not be known. As the deer moved, David moved along with it. It was as a dance where one was hunted and the other was a hunting shadow. Then the deer snapped his head and ear but far to late. David had already sent death flying with fats wings. A bush was painted with a few stripes of blood as the arrow bit down in it target and the deer fell down as she died with no pain and most likely that she never knew what had happened. David always aimed for the spine when hunting food. This was for need and not for fun and by that the animals did not need to feel any pain at all. David placed the deer over his shoulder and walked back to the camp. Still keeping to the shadows even if he now wasn't hunting for any game.

Shay's hand suddenly brushed across her fathers dagger. Her face contorted to sadness as she pulled it out and held it in her hands.
"Why... she though before she yelled. "Why...! Why did you leave me!"
A few tears fell from her eyes staining her cheeks, and then fell upon her hand before she noticed she was crying. She began wipe furiously at them and plunged the dagger into the earth as she remembered the display of her mother and father's house and stained walls. From the demon that slaughtered them, all that was left was the dagger and the graves of her parents to haunt her dreams. She pushed everything aside and placed the dagger back into it's sheath and kept her wits about her until David got back.

David entered the camp and dropped the deer. "I left you to get some food!" He knew very well that Shays distant shouts had nothing to do with him but it seemed as if she was quite down and then a laugh could help and it seemed as if he was good on doing so. Yes all this conversation maybe was...no forget it. David grabbed his blade and cut of the head of the dear. It was a clean cut even as he was standing on his knees and the deer was on the ground.

Medb wasn't exactly sure what'd happened to the battle that she'd left a while ago but it sure seemed to be dead at the moment around this place. She decided to explore and wander as she often did and blend in the best she could. However, the magenta eyes and the horns weren't exactly the most inconspicuous things on the planet but she walked around with them on anyhow. She didn't really care if they hunted her down, she'd just end up having some fun with the silly humans like she had with that assassin. The thought caused her to giggle to herself and then she noticed a camp set up, she noted that it was human and decided to pass by it though she wasn't going to attack them or anything.

Shay nodded to David's reply, and watched as he began preparing the deer for cooking. Yet in the distance she heard movement, and had an edgy feeling crawl up her spine. "What the hell..." She silently whispered, looking off in the distance for the unknown. Or merely looking towards danger that might be lurking within and near by...

"General! What are your orders?" One of the captain confronted her, a bit winded from the battle.
Amnity slowed her run down so her lieutenant general could catch up. She ducked just as an enemy fired an arrow past her head. She quickly returned fire with pin point accuracy, her arrow piercing the beast right in the heart. "We must ensure the security of our wounded." The general dove for cover behind a tree just as a demon launched a huge boulder passed them. "Men to the front! Tell captain Duran to send his squad out! Take the wounded soldiers and head for the shelters." She stopped fighting for a moment to shout orders to her captain. "After that gather some of the soldiers to help you block off all roads leading in and out of the area. " Captain Walters nodded, then ran out of cover and did as his general commanded. There was another explosion nearby, almost knocking trees over. Sh**... Amnity dashed back behind the shelter of trees before sprinting back out to the battlefield.

David saw her shrug and raised his eyes. That she would be scared of blood would be ignorant, stupid and foolish to think. Nor could it be to se the dead deer being made. Yet there was still a few events that could be but he took his bet on the safe one. "Are you cold Shay?" Soon the smell of soon to be grilled deer filled the camp and David took a deep breath. The good thing with being an hunter was that one knew what brought out flavor as any chef would do. Yet the difference between a hunter and a chef was that a hunter had the world as food source.

((Sorry about the delay, I've been gone... vacation, well to a certain extent))
Shay was so caught up in thought of what's out there, she almost jumped at the very sound of Davids voice. Shay took a deep breath as she began to slow her beating heart that almost jumped out of her chest because of him, and tried to take all nervousness, tension, and emotions from her expression and posture.
Shay looked at him with a weak smile, and even though she was a bit cold. She knew that wasn't what was bothering her and she had a feeling he knew it wasn't that either. But the worry lessened as the sweet smell of meat roasting drifted into her nostrils and engulfed her senses. Bringing a fierce rumble from her stomach. Shay smiled and chuckled nervously, "I guess that answers your question... feed me." But she answered his question anyways, "I am a bit cold. But I'll be ok..." She said with a light smile as she gaze yet again drifted out into the clearing of the woods.

David just smiled as he cut of a ready piece of meat and handed it over to Shay. Some of the noble lords ate with plates and stuff but for David his hands had always been enough perhaps an arrow once in a while. "Here you go Shay! Hope it taste good!"

Shay was brought back to David as he passed a juicy and very delious looking piece of meat her way. It began to drip down her fingers as she held in from her lips, and her impatient stomach growled in frustration. Shay laughed a bit, licked her lips and then took a long and big bite out of it.
Shay's eyes widened at the first bite, almost shocked of it's taste... but she soon shoved the meat into her mouth and greedily licked and sucked on her fingers lovingly. Not wanting any morsel or flavor to escape her ever wanting taste-buds. She was just in totally awe, as it melted into her mouth and the flavor burst outwards consuming her senses... that alone brought a soft moan from her lips as she swallowed and then began to nibbled on her own lip, waiting for more to chew and eat from.
