Diamond is AMAZINGLY brittle... bad harmonics can shatter it. I know. Notice the tag on the end there. According to Barton town, putting diamonds with anything is unbeatable. Or some s**t. I prefer real material.

HoH question. Should equipment only be what on can carry into battle or anything you might use throughout the tourney?

Thats why swords with crystaline blades are bumb. Sure, it can be crazy sharp, but one hit, and it breaks.

Diamond IS good for edging weapons, not actually making the weapon of it.
It's sharp as hell, and if you have an alloy underneath to support the structure integrity, you can do a lot.
Diamond tipped bullets and chainsaws work in similar fashions.
Never make a weapon tottaly out of that gem.
Onyx on the other hand... makes a great staff.
