I wonder if I should apply at Starbucks. .-. I'm extremely shy, but I'm friendly, and know how to make coffee.

Looks like your avi isn't having a problem there when it comes to the coffeehouse. Unintentional irony there? xd Chef told me not to look at your response unless I wanted to go nuts with hunger. (I did anyway, then raided the fridge in madness.) xd

Looks like your avi isn't having a problem there when it comes to the coffeehouse. Unintentional irony there? xd Chef told me not to look at your response unless I wanted to go nuts with hunger. (I did anyway, then raided the fridge in madness.) xd Sissy, my leftovers make awesome leftovers. I'm to the point now where come Monday I have to start making new food to eat. I don't know what's going to happen once my folks get back into town. My dad's idea of getting out of the house is totally different than my idea of getting out of the house. He always wants to go eat food and that's really not been the main focus of my life since I got back home last week.

I guess when you have ninety plus people on your mother's side of the family you're going to have years when there's going to be a lot of graduates. There's five of them this year. Two from college, two from high school (my god where did the last eighteen years go my niece can't be old enough for college already), and one from grade school. Two of them are from one family too. My cousin's "in-laws" (they're not really married for reasons of money from her ex) are going to have a lot of names to pipe on that cake at the family bakery this June. xp

Woah. Your family reunions have to be crazy! Yes and no. I have a cousin who lives twelve miles outside of San Jose with his girlfriend. I have a cousin who lives in Virginia with his wife and two kids. I have an uncle that lives in Tennessee with his third wife. I have a cousin who's either in Nevada or Texas (I can't remember if he moved back to the Dallas area or not) with his son. One of my cousins and her husband are currently living in Beijing because of her job. And unfortunately, I have an aunt in a nursing home and her adopted son (my not quite biological cousin) doesn't do family functions anymore. But still, between the adults and the grandkids and great grandkids we have well over eighty people in my mom's family living in the Chicago area (I still consider just over the border in Indiana to be part of the Chicago area) alone. So come the Sunday between Christmas and New Year's and every last Sunday in June we can get at least sixty to seventy people in the same place depending on schedules. And we do it every year because my mom and her sisters refuse to let our family not be close to each other.

Quick double post here. Well kids, it was good while it lasted but the Meebo bar is going to be going poof gone from the internet in June. Seems Google wants to focus on other things and places like Gaia are left looking for other alternatives when the day comes that the code they put on their sites becomes obsolete.

IosefKoranison Your mom and her sisters are awesome, for that. I wish that my uncles and cousins and great-grand whatevers and my family were really close. :c It all stems from the fact that they barely knew their father's family. The only ones they were close to at all were their grandmother and their only aunt on their father's side. They don't even know who their grandfather was. And while their mom's side was closer they were still kept away from certain members of the family because of what my mom believes was a possible case of dementia and other health issues. And after my grandfather died before I was born the seven of them (five girls two boys) vowed to not stop spending holidays together and have their mom not involved with the grandchildren. They didn't want to be one of those families.

Hot Caffeinated Cree I wonder if I should apply at Starbucks. .-. I'm extremely shy, but I'm friendly, and know how to make coffee. You should give it shot, nothing like having to deal with people to help with being shy.

*Sees your status* So a squirrel in the middle of the street... that reminded me of that old commercial where the squirrel runs across the street to make that car crash and high fives his buddy.
