"I never held any belief to the contrary. I can't afford to distract myself too much while a worse threat is marching down our doorstep. It doesn't mean I can't notice things..." I reply, sitting back a little.

Interested, Willow makes her way over to him, putting the book away as she did so.

"Thank you very much!" I say to the bar tender. I then leave the bar, and try to find a majority of the group, they said something about a bath house, so I'll try there.

I take off my clothes and get in the tub. After a few minutes of relaxing, I decide to try conversing with the woman. "So... um... I haven't properly introduced myself. I am Apollo Lysander; what is your name?" I say a bit nervously, unsure of what else to do to start a conversation.

"What crimes? And how can you expect to pay them off if you are starved to the point where you can't even work anymore?" I scoff.

Layla: "This is true," Xiao says. "But for now, enjoy the bath and we'll worry about the Red Army afterwards.
Willow: As you approach the merchant, he seems to be done trying to deal with this local, as he starts to put away the salt. However, upon seeing you approaching, he pulls it out again. "Ah, hello," he says. "What is your name, my fine lady?"
Sand-Claw: "Any time," the bartender says. The bath house, which is connected to the inn, is pretty small. However, it only charges five copper coins for a quick session. Ten for an extended session. No one seems to be here, but they may already be in a bath chamber.
Apollo: "I am Sazey," the skinny operator says. "It is nice to meet you, Mr. Lysander."
Nyx: "I stole food from a traveling merchant," she says. "Thus, I must atone by eating as little as possible and working twice as much."

"Well yeah, that was my intention. Wouldn't have paid money if my only goal was to get clean! I could have had Apollo shoot water at me if I wasn't aiming to enjoy things a bit." I reply.

"How long had you gone without food when you stole from the merchant?"

"Likewise, Sazey." I say in a more relaxed tone of voice. "And please, feel free to call me Apollo."

"Damn, I guess I'll wait for now, no sence in getting more split off from the party... Unless I made it a game!" I say to no one in particualar, then begin to think of how I could make it a game for the party to find me. Hide and seek just won't do, they don't even know to look for me, plus only one person is supposed to do the seeking. I look through my bag to see what I have in there, and to see if I have any paper, and a pen, I could write clues on to go looking for me. Like a scavenger hunt, but with random clues instead!

"Hello sweetie, I have a few questions for a traveler such as yourself". as she neared the end of her sentance, Willow leaned against him, her arm leant against his shoulder yet leaving in her in such a position that she still remained looking gracefull. "Could you be a dear and provide the answers?"

Layla: Xiao smiles. "Turn around," she says. "Your wings need tending to."
Nyx: "Almost a week," she says quietly.
Apollo: "Oh," Sazey says. "Thank you, Apollo. You are a very nice man."
Sand-Claw: Sadly, you do not have paper or a writing instrument of any variety.
Willow: The merchant smiles. "Well, I don't see why not," he says. "However, it will depend on the question. I do not everything, after all!"

"Then I'd say it was justified. Those merchants always sell their goods so overpriced and never give anything, not even a loaf of bread, as charity to the hungry. They're just selfish. When another person's sinning leads to more sinning, the root of the problem should be the one to suffer, not those who had no choice but to sin in order to survive."
I begin to softly sing an old song that kept be going when I was hungry and alone.
"Through sadness you have taught us to be one with the crowd Unveil the sacred order, hymns of falling down You told the greatest stories, of love and bleeding crowns But to the sick and hungry, you cannot be found
We are young and we are strong Through strength in self we become Something more than they can be I raise my heart and sing!
That I wont believe this lie I know there's something more inside When darkness is all you see This is our Sweet Blasphemy
Silence the crooked holy, unchain the tied and bound No time for allegory, one true reigning sound Unite the lonely mourning, a simple servant now We are the only glory, hear us screaming loud
We are young and we are strong I raise my heart and sing!
That I wont believe this lie I know there's something more inside Darkness is all you see This is our Sweet Blasphemy"

I was about to go and consult this merchant when Willow beat me to the punch. I shrug and turn back to see if I can find the bartender...

"Thank you." I say. "You are too, but it seems you aren't being fairly treated here. Why is that?"
