Eylios Ophiuchus shook his head. "That probably won't be necessary. I need to speak with her about this. It would be best if she knew about this.. if she doesn't already."
He paced around a bit, and glanced out the window. This was all very worrisome. "You need to hear this too, naturally." Lin smiled but closed her notebook again and put her pen away. "You would be surprised at all that Headmistress Krause actually knows about. She's the headmistress, after all."
She turned around and folded her hands in front of her and her arms hung loosely. "And I do not need to know what is going on, Professor Akakios. I am merely a student healer. I will do what I am told and what is for the best of the people I am treating."

Aurora nodded confusedly as Evermore ran to the forest, and shrugged it off. Turning to Akira, she said, "Let us go." After all, Evermore had said they could continue. She began to walk towards her dorm room.

Before Ever got too far, she stopped quickly in her tracks and took in a sharp breath. Her locket! Her mothers could not see it on her! They would probably know that it was Ares'.
So, Ever took off the locket and threw it over to Akira.
"Akira! Take this and keep it with you! Thanks!"
Then, Ever took off toward the forest again.

"That's an excellent philosophy, Lin." Ophiuchus really did approve. There were many healers who were too swept up in politics, and forgot their primary mission, the reason they became healers in the first place.
"Humility and purpose will carry you far. Now, I've only ever been to Headmistress Krause's office once, and that was teleporting. Could you please lead the way?"

{{Ok, I'm not exactly sure what's going on, so I hope I don't mess up what the Furies have to say. They're going to be pretty vague, naturally, but if what they say messes up what's going on in the main plot, just let me know and I'll edit it.}}
Ever walked up to her mothers and smiled. Yeah, they were gods, and yeah, they never gave her much information on what she was created for, but she still loved them... in a way.
"Hello, Mothers."
The middle one, Alecto, smiled, in a somewhat maniacal way, and came forward. She was the leader of all Furies. She began to play with strands of hair at the sides of Ever's head.
"Hello, dear Evermore. We know, it is a surprise to see us here, seeing as how we have never been here since you were born, dear. But it is very important we talk with you now."
Alecto brought Ever over to the other two Furies and they encompassed Ever in a circle, Alecto in front of her.
"Something is occurring in Mystic Fountain High School, Evermore, and we have reason to believe that it might be coming to Bai Ching as well. We need you to be on guard and keep vigilant."

All in all, Akira had thought a lot about their argument during her classes, especially math, and had basically forgiven Evermore; she had after all admitted that it had been an irrational impulse when she'd made Ares out to be such a horrible, nasty, jerk of a God, so maybe, just maybe the famous War God wasn't such a loss cause after all...
Giving a quick, understanding glance at her familiar, both Kilala and her decided stimulusly to give Ares another chance...Though Akira would probably continue to greet him (probably would happen a lot now) the same way she'd been doing so recently; just for the hell of it.
While laughing at the irony of the light fairy's name, and grinning, knowing her best friend would give her intuition a little bit more respect, Akira had started following Aurora, but when Evermore just stopped suddenly, the girl turned around, and waited for a moment, just lingering, but not following her best friend's gaze.
Then, Evermore mentioned going to fetch something, so with a shrug and a quick "ok! Hurry back!" Akira had been about to turn around again, but then just blinked as the little ball of light perched on her shoulder.
With a warm smile, she said, "Well, hi there, Raven!" and whispered into, hopefully, Raven's ear, "Thanks so much for choosing Evermore...She was so down and worried sick about not getting a familiar!"
Then, her dog ears twitched as the sound of something being thrown though the air reached her ears and her hand quickly and accurately caught the object.
"Huh, umm, err...Well ok, i will, see ya soon!" now she was starting to get very curious, as she opened her fingers and stared in awe at the very beautiful locket...Which had Ares' scent all over it.
Why would Evermore need to take this off to go fetch whatever it was...?
Before she could ponder on this more though, Aurora talked about going anyways, so Akira replied, while catching up with the girl, "Eh? Oh, umm ya, right, let's go."

Ophi likes that mentality? lol. I actually want to strangle Lin myself for once. The one time I want to strangle her and everyone else likes her for once. lol!! I just want to scream at her, find out what's going on! You're not a freaking puppet!}} Lin smiled and nodded politely to her professor. Without saying anything, she turned and walked out of her room. She knew her professor was following her.
Outside of her room, she pointed straight down the hall. At the very end, there was a large door.
"That is the headmistress's office, Professor Akakios. I will remain here and pack while I wait for your return."
With that said, she went back into her room and closed the door to set about packing.

Raven giggled lightly in Akira's ear. "No problem! Ever's actually pretty fun, not like the other gods that most of us at the lake hate. She's as innocent as you all are, and we thought that someone should protect her from her parents and other gods. I volunteered after last night. I felt a strong connection with her since I met her, which surprised me since she is a god. It was a pleasant surprise!"

It did not take long to arrive in Aurora's room. Caroline wasn't there, at the moment, and Altan had not returned either. Holding her door wide open, she welcomed Akira, Kilala, and Raven in. "Please, make yourselves at home. Would you like some tea?" She went in and stood at her dresser, upon which sat various random items--one of which was a whole teaset, perched happily upon a box of teabags. "I only have Rooibos, but it is quite good."

"No kidding!! Well, i'm real glad you volunteered and don't think badly of Evermore for being a Goddess...I mean you light fairies probably have a whole bunch of reasons why you hate the Gods and Goddess, right? And ya, she really is innocent alright!" Akira replied happily, before walking into Aurora's room.
Akira sat on a sofa and Kilala jumped and made herself comfortable on her master's lap, a habit by now. Shaking her head, she said with a smile, "Nah, i'm good. I'm not a huge fan of tea, but thanks anyways!"
She was fiddling with the silver locket by now, running her finger over the deep engravings.
"This is what Ever passed me...It's got Ares' scent all over it, think it's a normal locket? Should i open it?" she asked Aurora, as Kilala just shrugged.

"Alright." Aurora set the tea to boil anyhow; she, personally, would enjoy some Rooibos. Glancing at the locket, she was briefly regretful that Altan had yet to return. "I doubt it is a normal locket, if Ares is involved with it. Do you think Evermore would be angry if we were to open it?"

Ever sighed and her shoulders slumped slightly. She knew she couldn't once again ask what she was supposed to be guarding. No one ever gave her any information about that, and she didn't want to go into another roundabout discussion that only led to her being more confused.
But she did want to ask what was coming. So, she stood up straighter once more and looked Alecto straight in the eyes, respectfully.
"May I ask what might be coming here, what was once at Mystic Fountain?"
All three Furies laughed/cackled and shook their heads.
"We would tell you, dear Evermore, but there really is no point. Even if we told you, it would not help you. Simply be happy right now in the unknown. And, more on guard, of course. But still happy! Farewell, dear!"
With that, all three of them disappeared in thin ribbons of black lines and a screeching sound that sounded like a flock of ravens.

{{Song being played on Ever's CD: Chances}} Ever sighed in frustration and looked up at the canopy of trees above her. She mumbled to herself, "Well that was just pointless... except now I'll be even more stressed out, looking over my shoulder the whole time. Yeah, it's soooo much better to know that something might be coming but have no idea what it is or how to defend yourself. Thanks, Moms..." Ever slumped down onto the forest floor and leaned her back against the tree with a frown on her face. She didn't get in her meditation that morning, so maybe it'd just be relaxing now to sit there, mope, and listen to music. She unzipped her bag and began to dig around inside until she found her CD player. She had a mixed CD in there. She put her headphones on, clicked the power button on, and clicked Play for the first song. She sighed when the relaxing music came on, and she closed her eyes and rested the back of her head against the tree.

"Good point...And i'm not sure...Probably not. I mean, if this does involve the War God, then maybe it's suppose to help us find the room? I know he wants to find that room too." she replied knowingly and opened the locket, only to gasp as a golden map of Bai Ching bursted into life before her, Raven, and Kilala. Many color, but all mostly white, lights filled the magical map as well.
This was completely different then what Akira excepted from this locket.
"Err....wow?"

Aurora stared at the map that had unfurled from the locket after its opening. It seemed to pulse gently with a soft white light all over, and it currently showed Bai Ching--more specifically, it was a map of the dorms. Aurora could see her own dorm seemingly at the focus of the map, centered. "That is my room..." she murmured, even though that could be easily deduced so long as one knew the room number (36). She pointed to the room on the map, touching it lightly.
The map zoomed in.
