"You don't understand how she works...she's a woman or routine. Even if you have certain clearance for things, she's not likely to do them until she has full access to her labs back again...she doesn't like to run risks on her Echoes."
She jumped slightly, spinning around as if expecting someone to be behind her. Okay...she would have to get used to that and keep in mind that James could do that. Though a sigh and a look down at the shattered glass as her feet...great...something to clean up.
With another sigh she activated her OODDS to tap back across the connection already started by James...skipped that whole routing through her own system thing. "I have nothing to play with and you know that. Inventing done, Echoes off limits, you indisposed in one way or another mostly with security. It's like a forced vacation." Oops, babbling again wasn't she? So the sounds of glass being pushed around as she pushed it out of the way with her boot...she'd clean it up in a moment.
But okay she could do that...and it just so happened that she was in that lab...well because no one could get in without her really...unless you could jack into the system and override locks that was. "Yeah...I can check." And thus first to the cerberus, whistling lightly as she was doing so. The sounds of clicking and computer noises easily heard. "Well...your cerberus is calculated at a ninety percent survival rate if transfered now into the next phase...that would be if I had that lab up and running."
Then over to another computer pulling up the data on the hydra...yes she had been working on it some. "And for your hydra, I've found I'm having more success by mixing both our base species as opposed to trying to go off of one or the other. And I'm working off the cerberus specs for the head thing."

Lillia heard the playful banter from across the room but she resolutely ignored it. She couldn't help but smile. Jellybean. What a cute nickname... and then she sighede and turned back to her work.
It didn't take her long to finish up the files and then she had nothing else to do. So she packed up her stuff and headed for the door. She'd...go take a walk around teh ships or maybe she'd just hole up in her room. That might be best.

"Transfer it over. that lab can be up and running for this project I cleared it with Radiance."
Well..more like beat it out of them, but what's the difference.
"Or I will. and then you'll get upset, I might screw somethign up, you know...chaos theory nad murphy's law and all that."
and before Lillia coudl hit the door.
"Lillia, woudl you like to see my pet project with Jelena? I'm helping in the creation of two new echoes."
Then back on the ODDS.
"Unless you think a little time and the percentage will get better? or do you think it will degrade?"

Well dammit, she'd almost been out the door. But James knew she couldn't pass up a look at any echo and the creation process had long since mystified her. Damn him...damn him...damn him!
Why did he want her to stay in the room? He had waht he wanted, she had gotten all of Jelena's files reorganized and a foolproof system set up. She slowly walked over and said, "Sure. A cerberus and a hydra. Is that why you decided to get those degrees James?"

"Partially. That and the fact I hate being well...useless. take a look."
nevermind Jelena coudl hear him, while he used the system to show the displays that Jelena had used to tell him the information she had.
"I helped design, do the dna mixture for that three headed puppy to be. and we're workong on a hydra of course, right now with just dna strands to get teh kind of creature we want to have a chance to become an echo."

Lillia studied the screen closely noting differnt things and nodded, "That should be interesting. It's still so amazing how she does this." Her eyes were drawn to the hydra and she studied it for a bit with a purely scientific eye. "I think it's a good idea. The two of you can bond over the making of babies."
"Hmm..well good luck with that. I hope it all turns out the way you want it too. You too Jelena..." though she probably couldn't hear her it still made her feel better to say it. A nod to Eric and once again seh headed for teh door. Would James try and keep her back this time?

A noise of indecision. She didn't like the fact that she knew she was going against Radiance orders, no matter what James said...she knew they were only letting her do certain things because James made them let her. Okay then...what staff did she want put on monitoring detail then? "Fine...I'll transfer it over...jsut have to dig up some techs."
Though a roll of her eyes even if her couldn't see her and she chuckled lightly. "You wouldn't even know where or how to start with a transfer, and yes you would screw it up." Then she frowned a little...
"James, don't bring those files up on that computer please." Said in that purely work tone she could get. Yes she could see what was being displayed on the computer as well, and she could also hear Lilia, seeing as the mic was still on. "It usually does Lilia...jsut took three years to work out the kinks." Then she cut her link to the computer, going to make that transfer.

He let Lillia go, though he did give a bit of a concenred look to Erik. She was takign this very hard, though he was sure the betrayal was also hitting her as hard as the new splash.
"You know, Erik....Meta might be able to help with your issues with drones or droids if we can rustle up some plans and supplies. maybe get you some time off to shoot some pool or something. I'm deadly at pool. computerized brain is great for a game of angles and power."

Eirk watched after Lilia as well, shaking his head slightly as he crossed his arms, giving James the same look back. Hey Erik knew a lot about false happiness, Jelena was almsot always displaying it at least once or twice a week...that woman could be depressing at times.
He shifted his weight slightly. "That may be a good idea...provided that they were completely dependable. Even you have to admit, drone and droids are still only machines. Though a game of pool does sound good. Me and Trevy used to play all the time, bet drinks and stuff." Then a laugh. "Though I wouldn't bet with you, no need for an example to know that you're a regular pool shark."

A slight chuckle, though he had to plug himself into the ODDS again to see what Jelena was doing.
"How's it coming? it is a puppy yet? found the crew you need or do I have to do a file search and set off thier alarm clocks?"

"You can calculate like a computer, that in my book makes you a pool shark...and I'll be damned if I have to buy you a drink. Buying a drink off of loosing pool to Trevy is one thing, loosing to you is another." Meant his ego was due for a good kicking, now didn't it?"
Jelena was at one of those goo filled glass colunms, specifically the one that now suspended teh ever growing cerberus. She laughed lightly, shaking her head as she continued to input data into the terminal. "I swear James, you would be the most aggrivating father for a woman who would be mood swinging. These things take time and yes I have my crew. Though yes it is a puppy...barely, but still."
Another laugh. "And you think I could have a little warning before you jack into my OODDS? I've dropped several breakable items thus far."

"Yeah let me explain that one in a meeting or something. Oh I know, I'll jsut say 'sorry that's my boyfriend tapping into my glasses'...hey look I'm even more eccentric." Okay you that was enough...you really are turning nuts. Jelena cleared her throat, taking to still fine tuning what she wanted into that computer.
"Just...don't start talking out of nowhere. I'm jumpy. And yes...you can come back and see the puppy. It's yours after all." And a motion to one of her techs she had called back to set the door to open and leave it like that.
"I'm not that bad...I just like watching her get plastered. She doesn't take her tequila too well."

"I wish I coudl drink sometimes. of course alcohol and bioware don't mix well. bad juju. Okay Jel, how about this?"
He typed in a few lines of code, and her OODS started playing 'chariot's of fire'.
"That work?"
Then he got up, and unhooked himself, and headed to teh back to go look at the puppy Cerebus.

Jelena blinked, chuckled and then tapped the corressponding button on the wrist mounted control for her OODDS, shutting off that communicaiton function. James, sometimes he had way too much fun with all that little bioware and what not. Another shake of her head and she waved the two techs away from her, getting one to fetch a disk of coding while the other stood around with hands in his pockets.
