Dark Bunny Lord darklord_avalon Dark Bunny Lord darklord_avalon that may be true DBL, however. They should make more gold items, and make their prices something reasonable. now when they make gg items they are either lame and cost a fair mount or awesome and cost some godawful amount. while this is unrealistic I also feel they should do something to control the haywire market price bloating. there is no reason that a fairly low priced gaia cash item should hit the market and instantly be like 400k gg. blah. The in shop items are reasonable. Now I have no qualm over them providing more in shop items, but they have to mostly be lamer than what they're producing as cash items or people wouldn't bother with cash (ie no incentive). As for the cash items being reasonable gold wise, they really have no control over that as it's all supply and demand by the community. The only real big mistake I think they made was providing gold for cash, THAT broke the market more than the cash items did as it made gaining gold through other methods so dwarfed as to make free gold spending useless. no not really, there are a number of pretty items in shop that cost at least 100k gold and it totally doesn't look like an item worth that much seeing as its a single pose item which doesn't even layer all that well. for expensive items over 100k they should make them a little more like cash items. maybe a couple of poses, of course not as awesome or more awesome than cash items but still a fair level awesome to price ratio neh. and that why I said it was unrealistic cause you cannot control that part really. Were is there something in shops for 100k O.o? I haven't been in shops if a long long while. ah gomen, its not 100k its 58k and there are alot of them. I was like transposing or something from the DC shop and so my numbers werent where they belonged XD

Eh, I have millions of gold in various alt accounts and I still rarely go shopping on gaia. I think its because with the cash shop in place your avatar no longer represents your status as a gaian.
Back when I first started a nice and pretty avi either meant that A. You have been around for a long time generally or B. You provide some sort of service such as artwork etc.
The only other way was to buy the monthly collectables and sell them which at the time still did not make you all that much more rich over the rest of the non paying world (unless you stumble upon a jackpot in which case you still have to have the self control to hold onto it and let its price rise similar to stock marketing).
I actually used to make a decent living buying and trading on the market place and had some fun doing it. But now its rather pointless. I am not against the payshop because I think it is needed in a free community in order for it to stay free. Just saying it did change things.

I'm not upset that they chose to make a living out of Gaia and that they need to make money to continue working. I'm just sad because it is another case of 'Yeah, it's free to sign up, but if you spend real money you'll have the kind of thing that normal people can only dream about'.
Annnyway, I stopped caring about this argument when my house shook about 10 minutes ago, causing me to unleash a slew of profanities that I don't actually remember anymore.

Captain Cosmic. The hardcore head bashing vigilante whoes powers come from the moon and the stars. His goal is simple, to put an end to the people reliance on the oppressive ASEA by acting as an alternative force of good.

I was thinking of bringing back my original character: Lance Diesel, the WWII veteran of another dimension and the pilot of the diesel-burning cast-iron giant, The Big Man. He'd be working along side the A.S.E.A, looking for a way back to his own dimension as well as weapons to fight the new threat: Russian Communists (who have also developed inter dimensional transportation).

If I can get like 3 ppl to come back with me id be more than happy to bring my new charactor in and host a mini event. By that I mean basically be a GM for us. I really wanna get back into Grace. Especially after watching Kick a** for the third time.

Create characters, have one person dm, award pp occasionally after each session depending on difficulty (in the book version 15pp generally = 1 power level). You can make nigh any setting as long as you restrict powers players can use (or have them submit them and say no if a power doesn't fit the setting, etc).

Your right DBL, I actually ran my first DnD style campaign on a private server using a system similar to graces. It was a Vampre + Werewolf + Hunter with a bit of flexibility. Example being hunters were some what of a race in itself, in a sense that the humans that were hunters were humanities genetic answer to Werewolves and Vampires in the population. They had increased abilites such as keen sight, faster, stronger. But not like other wordly strong. The way I described it was being that of two grown men/women in their prime. There was also certain bonuses similar to nfsv2's innate abilities. Such as Werewolves had special effects/powers that could only be used in groups ie in a pack. Vampires had special effects/powers which worked after feeding. (which was a check that I cant remember) and then the people who chose human characters had their own flaw/draw back(cant remember which) that only they could take. I think it was like "Human" in which it acted like a double flaw/drawback. So instead of a -1 it was -2. Which could be applied to almost anything considering there already was effects that a Human simply could not do. Such as super strength etc. So to make up for them not being able to have super strength and all that the skills that they could make were WAAAY more cost effective.
The rp lived for about a month or so but died out because I did not have any mods and it was getting hard to keep events going. Every single time I did an event the same thing would happen. It would turn into a free for all kill em fest. XD

I haven't been here much so yes...please do thank you! mrgreen Quote: ---Attempt to Disarm: You may attempt to disarm an opponent of a weapon. A weapon consist of any item that makes an attack of some sort, ie something that's not passive. Passive items for all intents and purposes can not be disarmed. ...To disarm an item make a contested roll of: Agilityx2+Strengthx2 against the foes Agility+Strength+Items Accuracy. ...Alternatively you can attempt to disarm with a Jutsu or Item effect should it make sense rolling Statx2+Accuracy vs Agility+Strength+Item Accuracy. ...In both situations if the foe fails the roll they loose their grip on the item. Picking it back up is fairly simple to do, however they receive a negative -50 to all checks if they pick it up and -10 more to all checks if they pick it up for every 10 they failed their disarm check by. This de-buff is automatically removed at the end of their next turn and is not removable by other means, nor does it count towards the "limit of 1" to de-buffs. This simply represents them having to take the time to bend over and pick it up. However should they fail their disarm resist by 60 or more, rather than dropping the item YOU, the disarming assailant, have grabbed the item (note you must have a free hand to do this obviously). ......An ally item, summon, or puppet can of course use it's action to pick up an item as well, however they suffer from the same penalties you would if you had done it yourself.

BTW Devil
You acted out of turn. If you join a battle you must join at the end of initiative. Which means you cant act until Jin responds to Sora's disarm attempt
Also please keep in mind that considering you were not there when the battle started you can not surprise into the initiative.
Lastly, unless im wrong, im pretty sure you cant disarm both Sora AND Jin at the same time. I could be wrong on that though.
Also DBL question, are you able to disarm a user from their puppet? I think in this case he can because Sora is not in hiding at them moment.
