"Well if it isn't the sexiest Water Trainer on the face of the Gods' green Earth!" Kaya declared happily, turning to face his husband and giving him a hug. "I thought I felt you around here somewhere." he remarked with a grin.
As fast as the reunion had begun, it was interrupted by an annoyed Krabby barreling into Loki's leg with a Slam, which was quickly retaliated against with a Leaf Blade. A blade-like vine springing to life and slashing at the rather short crab. Krabby retaliated with one more Slam before Loki's next Leaf Blade sent it careening away and off into the overgrown grasses nearby.

Bray grinned, returning the hug, and leaving a quick peck to Kaya's cheek. He flushed happily a bit at the compliment, even if it was clearly not true (thankfully he possessed a bit more humble way of viewing himself). Although he easily would have reversed the comment back Kaya's way.
"Glad to see you safe," Brayden smiled, "I saw Trojana descend a little while ago, so came to see if I could track you down. I was with some of the other trainers who were helping out, but... I dunno, they all seemed to vanish." Brayden frowned. The idea that the reason behind their disappearance being something more sinister hadn't crossed his mind until that moment.
"I hope they're alright," he murmured quietly to himself, faltering a bit.

Pewter was ravaged by the oncoming Pokemon, but there was still more to come. From the back of the ranks, a Jynx stepped. The other Pokemon easily cleared the way for the Ice type, showing that it held quite a bit of power over the others. Some even might dare say it was the leader of the army of Pokemona types that were assaulting the already crushed city.
The Jynx located Kaya and Brayden, deeming them the highest threat to her master's plans.
She wasn't letting them out of this alive.

Kaya smiled at his husband. "Ya, sorry for the delay, I think we got lost after we got off the train. Giving a Pokemon directions from the sky's a bit harder than it sounds." Laughing slightly at his misfortune, he almost missed the Jynx arriving on the scene.
Once it sunk into his mind that this Pokemon must be some form of leader, he pulled out his PokeGear and summoned Linux from it. "Let's go, Linux. I need your unique abilities."
The Porygon erupted from the device in a Pixel Storm*, squaring off with the Ice Type. He held his ground and waited for the Creatures first move.

Brayden looked, following Kaya's attention to the Jynx as it approached. Brayden was no expert on Ice types, but it was clear to see that this one was different from the common Pokemon that were attacking the town. For one, there was a sense of obedience when the other Pokemon regarded the Jynx.
He couldn't help but find the psychic type a bit creepy.
"Ari, I'm going to rely on you for this fight," Brayden announced, summoning the Gardevoir in front of him. Ariadne appeared in a flash, smirking faintly.
'Thought you'd never ask, boss,' she laughed. This fight was sure to be a challenge. She looked forward to it.

The Jynx crouched, prepared to battle, before charging at Linux with a Focus Punch. The Jynx hauled back, before releasing a powerful punch onto the Porygon.
But that wasn't the end of its strike. Simultaneously, the Jynx's hair extended, entangling Kaya in her locks, wrapping tightly around him, binding him fast.

Brayden jumped when the Jynx attacked, not really expecting the ice type to pull such a powerful Fighting type move. But what caught Brayden even more off-guard was the fact that Jynx lashed out at his husband simultaneously along with Linux.
"Kaya?!" Brayden yelped, suddenly seeing Kaya entangled in a cocoon of hair. Which was kind of disturbing, Brayden had to admit with a slight inward shiver.
"You okay?" Brayden called, trying to think of any way he could free Kaya from the Jynx's bind.
'Focus on the fight at hand, boss,' Ariadne called, bringing his attention back to the fight, 'You can't allow yourself to be distracted so easily. Not with the stakes that this battle can have,' the Gardevoir motioned to the Jynx, indicating that she was quite ready to attack.
"Right..." Brayden murmured, bringing his gaze back to the battle, "Let's give this Jynx a taste of your Shadow Ball. Show her that she's not the only one who can deal with opposing elements."
'Already ahead of ya, boss,' Ariadne smirked, bringing her hands out before her. Summoning a globe of ghastly energy before her, the violet orb crackled with power. With a mental command, the Gardevoir sent the Shadow Ball at the Jynx, striking hard.

The Jynx stumbled backwards, releasing Kaya from her hold. Her attention turned to the Gardevoir, the icy psychic sent a Signal Beam at Ariadne, firing off a bright burst of energy at the empath Pokemon.
Once the beam had run its course, the Jynx concentrated, throwing up an impressive wall of ice, providing an effective for the next turn.

Startled by the sudden attack on his Porygon, Kaya staggered back a bit, falling right into the Jynx's grip. He tried calling out to Linux but he found his mouth bound in the Pokemon assailant's hair.{Which he couldn't help but notice smelled extremely fruity for a wild ice type}
Before long, he found himself freed from the Ice type's grip and frownd at the emergence of the Ice Wall. It looked like that'd be hard to break through. So instead, he decided now would be the perfect opportunity to recover. "Linux! Use Recover, quickly." He looked to Brayden and smiled to him reassuringly. Inwardly, he cringed. He could tell this was no ordinary Pokemon, but what could he do but try to stave off it's advances against the small town?
That was when an idea struck him, hard. It would take careful planning and a bit of luck, but Linux knew a very powerful move that could end this hurriedly. "Bray! Try to deal as much damage as you can,. I have a plan!" he called to his lover, a twinkle in his eye as the realization truly sunk in. He would share his pain with Jynx. Quite literally.

Ariadne took the Signal Beam admirably. Even though Brayden knew it hurt her, she didn't complain. The Gardevoir simply grit her teeth, taking the damage.
'Because you're such a wimp, boss,' Ari smirked, not elaborating on the statement. Brayden shook his head, smiling faintly. He still didn't like his team taking hard blows.
He watched as the Jynx gathered a fierce defense of ice around herself to defend against oncoming attacks.

When Kaya was released from the Jynx's stranglehold, Brayden let out a breath he hadn't realized he was holding. He knew Kaya would be okay, but the strategy the Jynx had thrown their way still startled him.
Brayden nodded in understanding to Kaya, recalling Ariadne back to her ball for the time being. In her place, Bray motioned Gin forward, the Ninetales grinning quite nearly from ear to ear. He knew what to do.

The ice wall the psychic type had summoned in front of her effectively put a damper on Gin's attack, but there was still enough flame to get past the barrier, striking at the weakness of the Pokemon.

The Jynx released its hold on the ice surrounding herself, allowing it to crumble after Gin'iro's attack completed.
She struck back with a powerful Blizzard, aimed at Kaya's Porygon. And once again, she elongated her hair, controlling it to trap Kaya once again in her locks.

The last thing he wanted to do was engulf Kaya in the attack as well. It would have been too reminiscent about their showdown on Stark Mountain. And that little escapade still gave him nightmares.
Gin'iro was careful to obey, sending off another Fire Blast at the Jynx. He was careful to control the flames, aiming at the Jynx, but staying away from her hair, not wanting to harm his master's mate. He was somewhat fond of Kaya as well, so it was an easy order to obey.

Kaya struggled to break free of the Pokemon's grasp, unable to move. At least this time he was able tp gasp out an order, though it was a bit garble. "Lin-x -se Pa-- S-lit!"
The unfortunate Pokemon merely collapsed into a pile of 3-dimensional pixels at his Programmer's situation. "Linux is afraid Linux cannot execute that command line. That command line does not compute, Kaya. Please choose a new command line." The pixel-form Pokemon shivered slightly. What could he do?
That was when it hit him, he pulled himself back together and summoned all his strength. A thin thread of pink light trailed from the Pokemon's processor to the Jynx's chest, slowly thrumming like a conjoined heartbeat. "Linux orders you to release his programmer in one nanosecond!"

The Jynx paid Linux little heed, continuing her stranglehold on Kaya's person, not letting up with her snare. She turned her attack towards the Porygon, however. The Jynx hauled off another powerful burst of energy, throwing a Focus Punch at the Porygon.
Special Ability: Roll a 4 sided dice.
1= Creates a Voodoo Doll of the target out of ice. Ice will slowly encase the victim, auto K.O. in 5 turns.
