Prometheus' white hair flew in the night wind as his head was revealed. "Since you stopped being Kid Flash? None, most likely," he replied. In truth, he knew that without that helmet, he was pretty much defeated, but he wasn't about to admit that.

Flash waggled his finger. "Now, now. No being bitter just because I beat the pants off of you," he replied happily, zipping around and handcuffing the villains hands behind him. "This, Spider," he added, "Is called banter. Weirdly, I'm the only one in the JLA besides Plastic Man who does it on a consistent basis."

Steel relaxed her stance, seeing as the fight was apparently over, and nodded. "Does this count then, since you didn't knock him out?" she asked with a bit of a smile in her voice.

[enter the Joker from Metropolis]
"Probably not," a high-pitched voice called out. The Clown Prince of Crime emerged from the shadows of his city, smiling his impossibly wide smile. "There's always the possibility of someone coming along and helping him. Especially in this city."
"Never thought I'd be happy to see you."
"I bet you say that to all the psychopaths."

The Flash all but jumped out of his skin at the sudden introduction of THAT particular voice. Glaring, he turned to look at the speaker. "Oh, look," he said flatly, "It's the guy whose jokes are even worse than mine. Okay, Spider," he said, keeping a close eye on Prometheus, "This would be your chance to try out the whole 'not killing people' style of fighting. He's got a joy buzzer on his hand, a deck of razor cards, a lapel that spits acid or crazy gas (it kind of depends), one of those joke guns that fires a sharpened flag..." He glanced at the Joker. "Am I forgetting anything? Anyway," he continued without waiting for a response, "I'm here to bail you out if anything goes south... or if you start killing him. This'll be like a practice round!" he concluded cheerfully.

Steel nodded, and moved back into a more agressive position. "Sounds good to me." she replied, drawing out her electro saber and staring at the clown with a small smile under her mask.

"Oh, a practice round?" The Joker was honestly curious now. "Training a new heroine? A friend? A love interest, perhaps? Funny place to start, Gotham City. Highest crime rating in the world, bar none. Your own Keystone City would've been a better place, considering the somewhat... lacking quality of your own Rogues Gallery. Gorilla Grodd aside (and remember, I've nearly killed Grodd myself), your Gallery is kind of a joke. They all have some serious technology at their disposal. People SAY they're insane. People SAY they're dangerous. And yet, the worst crimes they can usually commit are glorified bank heists. This, however, is the city of psychoes and mobs. Here, bank robberies are second-rate to things like underworld control, kidnapping, extortion, assault, arson, and, my personal favorite, murder." The clown smiled a smile that was usually reserved for sheer esctacy; such was his love for death. "Still, if this is a training round, I suppose I can make an allowance for inexperience." He pulled out and dropped on the ground a revolver, two decks of cards, several small grenades, his boutonierre, and his joy buzzer, putting them next to a dumpster, then turned around with a sickeningly wide smile on his face. "I'd hate for anybody to say that I was anything but fair for a rookie..." The Joker then assumed a fighting position that was very reminiscent of the Notre Dame Fighting Irishman. "Well then, let's dance."

Steel stared at the clown a moment, then decharged and replaced her electro saber. Now she felt that she might be a little unfair if she used a weapon since he seemed as though he wasn't going to. Of course, that didn't mean she wouldn't use her new technology. "You're choice." Steel said before leaping at the clown. Her robotic strength should be enough to begin with, then she could pull out her new webbing.

The clown grinned, then pulled out another gun from his jacket, which he promptly fired at her three times. Contrary to Flash's claims, the rounds were remarkably normal bullets.

Remarkably enough, the real bullets simply bounced off of her with the sound of striking other metal. Steel Spider smirked and used one hand to grab the mans wrist that held the gun. "Nice try." she said quietly. Go for killing, but don't go all the way...well then, a solid punch should be a good start. Not quite enough force behind it to snap the man's neck. So... Steel's other arm drew back, and shot towards the side of the man's face.

As the bullets bounced off, the clown got VERY confused. He didn't have a great deal of time to dwell on it, though, as his wrist got grabbed. He was just focused enough to duck the punch, then moved right against his current adversary; it would be harder to hit him while he was inside her strike arc. "Nice try, yourself..." Then, he tried to bite down on her jugular as hard as he could. At least, where her jugular WOULD have been, if she had been human.

Steel felt him bite her, thanks to the blasted pain recepters she had been built with, but that was about it. Just teeth clamping down onto metal. Hardly anything damaging. Drawing her arm back from the punch, she wrapped it around the clown and started squeezing. Her initial reaction was to grab his head and twist, snapping his neck. But that killed humans, right? She wasn't sure why...what was so different in them that they couldn't live if the structure in their neck was twisted too far. Many of Arcade's robots could function with their heads detatched from their body. Whatever the case, she needed to avoid doing that. Crushing him might be better. With that she squeezed Joker as tightly as she could with one arm, while clamping her other hand tighter around his wrist to try and make him let go of the gun.

Flash yawned and leaned back against a building. "I would like to take this opportunity to point out that I KNOW my rouges are ridiculous. I like them ridiculous. They like being ridiculous. It's a virtual-like fest of perpetual pointlessness. Goooo Spider!" he added enthusiastically.

((enter Superman from New York))
Superman gazed down at the city, he noticed Joker almost immediately, fighting flash and someone else he didn't recognize, Well, that seems to be under control, he thought, less immediately obvious was the battle raging between Deathstroke and a familiar looking black-clad figure...that wasn't batman....Superman dived down in a blue blur, yelling out "Deathstroke!"

The Joker let go of the gun, but tried to twist at Steel Spider's jugular area, to no avail. Slowly, it dawned on him what was wrong, once he was half out of breath. "Flashy got himself a robo-babe, eh?"
Prometheus slowly took out a lockpick from his glove, and carefully began picking the handcuffs, taking complete advantage of all the attention being on the Joker and Steel Spider.
