Sierra. An accent would be a deviation from the standard pronunciation of the words.
We don't have that.

Fenrir Fenix Uhh... I was just going to imply that you were in fact guilty due to blackness, in regards to your trial comment. Yeah I figured that. I just had to sound off on something that bothered me when I was visiting a website for information on how to kill people and get away with it.

Silver Moonblade Kaym ... everyones' talking about accents. whee I got one too!.. but its a weird mix of messed up elongated vowels and a california + wisconsin mix Wisconson = Pwn. Well, we do anyways. The state can ******** itself. Though we don't have to worry about a lot of things otherplaces do. No hurricanes or earthquakes or ridiculous traffic ((unless you get those retarded illonois drivers)). .. i get those.. Im right in Milwaukee. scream And i would have to defend wisconsin, Out of all the states ive lived/and been in. It has the nicest summers ^_^ edit: but the winters are nasty = they can die

Oda: So because one guy backs you up it proves you right? When two people who have done courses on this say the opposite?
Accent = pronunciation. Again, if you have a pronunciation, you have an accent.
Do the people of northern Ohio speak?
Although I've never been there, I suppose they do.
And when they speak, they pronounce word with the accent they have been taught.
You're not lying, you're just not getting it.

When a standard language and pronunciation are defined by a group, an accent may be any pronunciation that deviates from that standard. However, accent is a relative concept, and it is meaningful only with respect to a specified pronunciation reference. For example, people from New York City may speak with an accent in the perception of people from Los Angeles, but people from Los Angeles may also speak with an accent in the perception of New Yorkers. Americans hear British people speaking with an accent and vice versa.
You are all right. Now stop arguing over fat muttons. D=<
