Ruuvan Partially serious question now: I need to know if any of you funny image people, by that I mean those who have an abundance on their PC or look at forums that post them, have seen a picture of a baby chick with a pair of scissors about to cut it in half, the caption reads "The Love is Gone" or something like that.
Sketched nicely, funny as hell... I need to find it eek "love is over" is the caption. i know of the pic, but i don't have it.

Ryugi Kazamaru OMG!!! AKI IS HERE AND I HAVEN'T HUGGED HER YET!? *Totally Huggles* *huggled* Hello dear. I've been here for a couple of hours at least 3nodding *huggles back*
Just remembered...SM so does have an accent. He called me a couple of times.
Kaym: I love listening to native speakers and their way of saying things. I think it's because I'm not native to English myself. I sold jewelry last summer, and a lot of tourists came by...it was always fun to listen to their accents, especially the little French girls who came by one day, but my entire day took a turn for the better every time someone who spoke English natively would come by.
Oda: Will you LISTEN to what Erinn and I are saying? As long as you can SPEAK, you have an accent. So, assuming that the people of northern Ohio aren't all mute, they have an accent.

Kaym ... everyones' talking about accents. whee I got one too!.. but its a weird mix of messed up elongated vowels and a california + wisconsin mix Wisconson = Pwn. Well, we do anyways. The state can ******** itself. Though we don't have to worry about a lot of things otherplaces do. No hurricanes or earthquakes or ridiculous traffic ((unless you get those retarded illonois drivers)). Aki: I only have an "accent" because its different from what your used to. But it's decent.

Kichiro Oda No. Seriously. News anchors are sent to live in northern Ohio and learn the way they speak, because there is no accent. Yes there is. There just might not be much variety in your region, so to anyone native to that area, it'll be harder to hear. EVERYBODY who speaks has an accent. Regional Dialect may be a better term. But they're one in the same. The reason they get sent up here to learn a new speech pattern isn't because they don't have an accent, it's just they want variety so people will listen more. Unless it's a speech pattern that people hate for whatever reason, we tend to find an accent that's different from our own, more interesting to listen to.
I had to take an intensive course on this stuff, belieeeeeve me >_<;; It's my job to understand how speech is made, how the mouth forms words to create different sounds/accents and to be able to impliment that knowledge and mimic them. >_<;;
