I don't have an accent. Nor do most people from NE Ohio.
We're supposed to have the most standard English speaking in USA.
Prolly why we're the poorest.

Nedyfay Norrell ...I have the energy do to that sort of thing cross-channel? Cool! Serves you right for the 'caffeine to the front' comment though stare heart I'll have you know six cups of coffee over the whole night make me run a lot better! Run as in mentally, not physically running... that would be stupid.
Something wrong with coffee?

Kaym ... everyones' talking about accents. whee I got one too!.. but its a weird mix of messed up elongated vowels and a california + wisconsin mix I so would like to hear you speak once.
Everyone has an accent. Accent = the way you say things. As long as you're not mute, you have an accent. Consult, for example, Laurie Bauer's 'Introduction to the International Varieties of English' if you don't believe me.

Nedyfay Norrell Pat, love, I don't sleep much. And notice that after he told me why he was up, I left the issue. I didn't notice, I wasn't really paying attention, to tell the truth. =D

My voice is just too awesome to have an accent. It's sort of simplistic while being deep. In simple terms, It absorbs the energy from voices around my own and reverberates them into an original sound.

Partially serious question now: I need to know if any of you funny image people, by that I mean those who have an abundance on their PC or look at forums that post them, have seen a picture of a baby chick with a pair of scissors about to cut it in half, the caption reads "The Love is Gone" or something like that.
Sketched nicely, funny as hell... I need to find it eek

It's harder to hear for yourself, but record your voice sometime and listen to the different pronunciations of words, the different inflections on vowels and consonants. Even the way your mouth moves to form the words. Everything is 1 part you, 1 part your ancestry and 1 part regional.
Canada for example, has over 100 different accents and dialects.

No. Seriously.
News anchors are sent to live in northern Ohio and learn the way they speak, because there is no accent.

Mr. Crawley Speaking of racism. Me.. as jello once refered to me.. "Leviathan's Angry Black Man" I'm so sick of white people complaining about how things have changed (basically all they're saying is.. I want the power to say "that ****** touched my wife" and he'll be lynched without quesiton, again) I mean.. political correctness, mixed couples, and err'thang else they're complaining about is effecting everyone else too. Uhh... I was just going to imply that you were in fact guilty due to blackness, in regards to your trial comment. But sure. I typically say whatever around people that know me and take some care around people that are sensitive in one way or the other. Usually to avoid stupid arguments/severe beatings.
