I went through a crazy period with the Gaia Admins who handle the hacking reports. To this day I have no idea how my account got hacked (I do not give away my password, but I think it was a messed up link or something)
Well because I couldn't leave the guild for long I used my mule IceeKat to take over things. (The change will be happening soon anyway going back to IceeWitch!). I tried to be active but things kinda dropped off as I was dealing with senior year stuff (great year for me...i got Valedictorian!). Well I decided because IceeKat confuses the heck out of me sometimes that I wanted my other accounts back and I started badgering the moderators in February. Well around April or May they locked me out of this account too "pending investigation". I refused to create yet another mule so I just said forget it. Yesterday I was about to mail Miss Love Tantei and let her know that I would not be on Gaia anymore and if my accounts were ever freed she could have them for the guild. Luckily before I gave up there was an email from Gaia telling my accounts were reset! [SOOOO excited!]
So now I'm unhacked, unlocked and everything else. I don't think anything is missing other than my friends and PMs (except the ultra important saved ones)

KT: The good news is that the current Heads are all Heads for a reason. There has always been someone around within the last couple of years to handle things if the other Heads went through some stuff. When I disappeared (i was sourly frustrated with Gaia at that point) I came back knowing the guild was not dead. Luckily we're still progressing and the progress is evident.
[I'm about to make a lot of changes to the Mods right now so I'll deal with the KTweirdchick account too. Juni I'm sure all the other Heads are ok with it if you are too, and I didn't want to waste more time]

Oh, psh, it's totally cool with me, Icee. Heck, I woulda fixed it all up myself, but I'm just a Hufflepuff Head, and wasn't sure if it was my place to do so O_o'
And OMG everybody's magically coming back now Eeeee!!! *hops up and down waves like an idiot at KT and Icee* crying
Edit for Cole Jeffries: Oh oops, I forgot to answer your question! Sorry! We don't have a set date for the next sorting announced yet, I think. But rest assured that it will happen soon after the Summer Term ends. Sooo, it's very possible it could start on the date you suggested.

Hope Maxime Hagrid Wow, do I have good timing or what? Hi kids, this is KTweirdchick, hopefully there are people who've been around long enough to know that... I think Juni should, maybe, hopefully... Anyways, it's been forever, and apparently my account was banned. crying I'm still trying to figure that out. I think my HogwartsMonthlyRep must have been hacked as well because I can't get onto that one either...
Anyways, enough about my problems...
I'm so sorry I've been gone for so long. I hope you have all managed to get along without me. I can only imagine what o0Pinkie0o would say if she knew I had left her guild for so long. However, I think it's long past time this wonderful place moved on. I would really love to stay on as co-captain or maybe just crew. Just... well, just because, I suppose. And, obviously, I think I'd like to be, I guess you could say the Hufflepuff ghost, like we talked about ages ago... However that all depends on if I can get my main account back or not. But I know for a fact that Juni is more than capable of handling this place, she's been around for, well for a lot longer than I've been gone, I know that. It sounds like she has kind of become the new me; the only mod still active, struggling to get things done so the place can run smoother and be a more enjoyable place to be. Well, Pinkie gave me the place, and I think Juni is probably the perfect candidate to be the next guardian of this special little corner of Gaia. It's like 2:30 in the morning here, so I'll be back tomorrow to make it official. Especially because I still need to make sure you all believe that it's really me...

IceeKat KT was instrumental in getting the guild started five years ago (woot!) she was the Deputy Headmistress then and she retains her modship. Aww...

I wouldn't say I was instrumental in getting the thing started,
that was all Pinkie, the guild's founder for those who are newer.
I just sorta took over a little while after that,
Pinkie put a LOT of work into making this guild possible and it kinda burnt her out...
She passed the torch to me
and I decided that it would be best if the torch would then go back to the guild itself,
since it would not exist if not for its members.

And Icee has it pretty much covered,
That's basically what I wanted, so that the mods didn't have to feel as much pressure to take care of the guild,
it's overwhelming and extremely intimidating and it's only an online internet forum...
I wanted them to be able to build a trust amongst themselves so that they knew that one of them would always be around to make judgements...
The oldest and most active usually making the last judgment calls...

Actually Pinkie is probably the main reason I want my account back,
she gave me her seal slippers that she used to always wear...
and her golden laurels...
They mean a lot to me...
I'm really worried I'll never get them back...

As for Adonis, I can actually answer that.
Adonis isn't a real person, he is a mule account that all the Heads have the password for.
We rarely let other's have the password but in some situations,
very trusted members have been given it as well,
Like if they are going to run a guild event and no mod will be present to assist.
That's why Adonis is not around a lot.
I know Angil enjoyed chatting with the other members on his account,
but he is mostly so that whichever mod is the most active at the moment will have all the powers he or she may need to get stuff done.
Not to mention,
it just felt very professional to have one account that was in charge of the whole guild,
instead of people needing to constantly wonder and worry...
I hope that answered your question...

First off, I just want to apologize for being so lost in the guild. I have been looking around trying to figure this out though, and I still don't completely understand it:
Ok, I was sorted just recently in the early sorting. And since it was an early sorting, and it's summer break, do I not officially start term until next term? Or am I already a first year and can post in classrooms and take classes?
I'm sorry, I looked at the calender and I don't understand because isn't the hogwarts express leaving soon? And if I am a first year already, when the hogwarts express comes back am I a second year?
I'm sorry again sweatdrop , I'm just trying to understand how this works. We humble little house-elves get a little confused when we move up the ladder.^-^

Thank you. Never apologize for that, especially when you did the right thing by coming here to the SFQ.
The first question I can answer: as long as the teachers don't mind you beginning classes, you're welcome to take them since you're a full student now. You can become a second year if you wish (or you're welcome to stay back since you didn't really experience "first year") but that's completely your choice.
These are all valid questions and I apologize for not making it clear somewhere. No worries hopefully it'll be clear soon.

KT: I know what you mean! I thought I would die when I found out two of my accounts were hacked (same passwords too). I was completely lucky that Iceekat didn't get hacked too. But the hacker had access to all of my prized items (my fuzzy penguin slippers!! I quested hard for those!) so I was afraid I would never get them back. Then it was ten months before I got my account back, but by then I just didn't care what items were left. I'm like you: so many memories, it's hard to let go of Icee.
I didn't start getting answers until I PMed an Omnimoderator (who was online at the time). Without her I'm sure my account would still be buried under the hundreds of hack reports they get a day
And I can't say I've been much help, especially these last six months since I have rarely been in the guild. But like you said the guild was able to progress into what is today. That's why I need to finish that other thread!
