Lillian Ashe Serieve Thank you! Okay, so question: Through how many issues should an advertisement be posted? I was thinking 2 or 3. Idea: Once we make the guild more public-friendly, what about having a minishop inside the guild? Like a souvenir shop type thing. Then again, it may not work... What kind of minishop? I don't know. Maybe like a mix of whatever skills us staffies have. Or we could add another section to the 'zine and have people pay to get in. There's always Jaho's advice column idea, or something. Reader Spotlight. And I was thinking of having staff profit also, like a certain percent of all proceeds, but I don't know if that will go over well with people. It would give us a paycheck though, even if a small one.

I have a very limited ability to draw. And... well, we could have editing services, since that's something we all have in common. Maybe someone could make corny souvenir graphics.
... neutral Well, we would need the whole public-friendly thing done first, so we can concentrate on that.
Jaho's sticky could help with that part. Maybe an Introduction announcement thread. I think more personality would help also, or a more casual atmosphere. Alicemae had a very vivid online personality, and I believe it had a lot to do with how well TGP has gone. I on the other hand am 90% absent, 9% business/work, and 1% personality. rolleyes

Serieve This is what I came up with: Bulletin Board Head Quarters Columns 'Zine Projects Introductions Index of Issues Index of Authors Voting Or we could just have an individual sticky for each crew member. Then again we don't exactly want to go crazy with the stickies. O.o Thats good.

Maybe we could section the magazine down, and have seperate editors which handle each section. Like, Column Editor, Submissions Editor, Review Editor, etc. These basic sections could have their own stickies, while individual thread can just float around like they usually do. I'm not sure we have enough consistant staff to make this idea work, but it might help cut down the stress at the end of the month, especually if we can snag a few more general staffies.

So lately I've gotten this great big spurt of writing motivation, and I started doing lots of research and note taking and etc.
And I think it's be neat if I did a Writer's Aide thing with all the info I've gathered. 3nodding
With Reviews to correspond to the book references I would make.
Question is, will I do it this issue or next or never? neutral
