I swoop down from the tree, landing next to the conversing indiviuals. "Why does it matter who's team it is? Sand's our newest member and yet I don't mind her introduction. I'd rather focus that zeal on something else, like kickin' those Reds a nice one!" I say. "Oh, I'm Layla, by the way."

Willow: The dancer's fur looks very soft and silky, though still pretty dirty from travels. Her sheer dress is enough to give her body a sparkle in the light, but not nearly enough to hide the fine details of her body's curvature. She gives a smile as she sees you watching her. "I'm Lyriana, the dancer" she says. "What's your name, scythe-woman?"
Leina: "Would'ja put the blade away an' just have some ale, lassie?" the dwarf says. "It makes for better company than a sword." He pats a keg of ale sitting next to him.
Layla: "Aye, Reds ye say?" the dwarf says. "Me enemy's enemy be me friend, I says. A drink, Layla?" He pats the keg sitting next to him. "The Red Army are our targets, too," the dancer says.

"Well, I don't turn down such a kind gesture, but I'll warn you that I'm a bit of a lightweight. How'd our gracious enemy greet you guys?" I reply to both the dwarf and the dancer. "You guys have some interesting attire. Certainly not within the normal! Sign of a good adventurer, though!" I say, taking note of mainly the dancer's curious garment.

As fun as this looks.... My headache's getting the best of me. I decide to stick close to Leina just in case any of the others decide to try to drag me somewhere.

Willow had been so mesmerized by the womens dancing, the way her body moved with such ease, such, beauty. She almost didn't hear the question "Wha-? Oh I'm Willow, I must say you are quite the dancer, it seems you live up to your tittle." It was at this point Willow unsheathed her scythe and stabbed it into the ground, "Although it is missing something" she smiled as she said this, leanig gracfully on her scythe.

Layla: "Ah, just have a drink!" the dwarf says. He pours you a tankard and hands it to you. "As for our garb, we dinnae expect to be runnin' through forests an' climbing mountains without a wagon," the dwarf explains. The dancer seems to be focused on Willow.
Willow: The dancer ends her dance with a deep bow, her tail held high. "Well, if it is missing something, I would be honored if you would grace me with the knowledge to make it better," she says. She seems long-winded. She also doesn't seem to be fazed by AT LEAST five minutes of continuous dancing.

I sit down next to the dwarf, taking a a swig of the unknown drink, to which I assumed to be an ale or beer of some sort. I laugh a little. "Looks like Willow's taking quite a liking to your friend there! But, enough about other people, eh? You guys have a main quest?" I say to the dwarf, looking over him to try and get a rough feel of what his place in the party was.

Willow: "A partner?" Lyriana repeats. "I'd never considered it...I don't suppose you know of anyone who knows how to dance well?" You can tell from her smile that she knows you're going to suggest yourself.
Layla: It tastes like ale, but a lot stronger. Dwarven brew, to be sure. "Heh," Lud says. "Scythey's got it in for Lyriana, all right. Just look at them lights in 'er eyes." After asking about their quest, Lud nods solemnly. "Aye," he says. "Lyriana has a vendetta against the Red Army. She's intent on takin' 'em down. I been done wrong by 'em meself, so I joined her as soon as I heard about her intents. Birdy here—" "My name is Xiutalco," the anthro bird says, looking up from his bone. "You know that, Lud." "Aye, I know it. But it's a hard name! I'll just call you Talc. Deal?" "Deal." "Anyway, we found Talc here bein' abused by some orcs. Almost beat 'im to death, they did. We saved 'im, Lyriana an' me. He owes us for tha', so he been travelin' with us ever since. After that, we been travelin' around, tryin' to find some leads on where to find the first Challenge. She says we needs to win it in order to find the Reds. Says border patrols' big on prestige and won't let you pass without certain amounts. As for drummer-boy, we picked him up in the last town, place called Nayk. He's just lookin' for adventure; he ain't here for Lyriana's vendetta. Little titled, you ask me." Xiutalco goes back to his bone and Lud takes another deep swig from his tankard. The drummer has stopped drumming now that the dancer has stopped dancing.

I take another of the ale. "Why do you say to perhaps a little teamwork then? The more the merrier, eh? Give those Reds a party they won't won't forget!" I say to him cheerfully. "Also, it should go without saying, but you've got some damn good ale. You may have made a convert out of me!"

"Well, I'm no expert, but I would be happy to oblige" as she said this, Willow worked her way over to the dancer, working her hand gently into hers, their boddies close together, but comfortably.

"I'm just looking forward to kicking around more of them Reds!" I proclaim. "Also, do you think these challenges will have us fighting really big things, or solving puzzles? I really don't like puzzles that can't be sovled with a crossbow!"

Layla: "Aye, teamwork be a good idea!" Lud says. "What say ye, Talc?" "Genius," Talc replies. "The Reds won't know what hit 'em!" Lud smiles at your comment about his ale. "Aye, thank ye," he says. "Personal brew, that. Not standard!"
Willow: "Now what kind of dance did you have in mind?" Lyriana asks.
Sand-Claw: "I be thinkin' it be different for each one," Lud says.

I watch as everyone seems to be so trusting with these people, but I decide to put my sword away, I could always grab it later. I walk closer to the group, but make my mind not to drink. With a challenge coming up at any point I wasn't going to chance being hindered.
