Everyone: After another half-hour or so of these shenanigans, you all convene in the meeting room, which is attached to the main hall of the castle. After a short discussion, you all return to Nayk, the town where you purchased the hall. You know that you need to go to the nearest Challenge. The nearest one is fourteen and a half miles away, if you travel in straight lines. You travel west through a small forest, a mile of flatland, through a small swamp, and up a mountain. As you reach the peak of the mountain, you hear a hoarse below from above. "PUT ME DOWN, YOU BIRDBRAIN!" You all look up to see a dwarf being carried around by an anthro bird of some kind. "I DON'T CARE HOW FAST WE CAN GO THIS WAY! PUT ME DOWN, DAMN IT!" The anthro bird descends. It misses the mountain, instead landing in the forest at the mountain's base. You will have to pass through this forest if you wish to continue on this path. I will let everyone react to this before moving on. If someone does not post by tomorrow night, they will be skipped.

The moment I had heard a voice, I froze in my tracks and followed the sound with my eyes as I gripped my blade in an instant. Once I see the bird/dwarf duo I raise a brow curiously, but stay rigid for a bit longer to see if anything more comes of them in the next few moments...

I try to jump (if there are low enough branches to grab) and climb a tall tree to get a better view of the area. I some how want to save the dwarf, but Leina's caution reminds me to try and be a little more aware of the situation before pulling a knight in shining armor. Not that I have shining armor, and knight could be taken as a pun on the goddess that bestows favors to me.

Amused by the actions of those around her, Willow felt the air, hoping to sense if the dwarf was dead or not. after doing so, she walked onwards, "I am going to scout ahead dears, if you wish to join me feel welcome."

"A dwarf that flies!?" I shout at the incredible sight. "We should find him, and ask how he did it!" I say gleefully, and run to the place where it looked like he landed. Drawing my crossbow as I run, forests can have lots of interesting things to use as targets!

"I thought that dwarves where allergic to extreme heights. I guess it was just old wives tales." Mazurn said as he had looked at the duo, sighing. He pulled out his sword, and looked at Willow. "If you are going forth, then I shall also go forward."
(Sorry about that, Silver. Didn't want to abandon the roleplay. Just that life has gotten the upper hand.)

I look up as I'm wrenched from my thoughts by all the commotion. I look around stupidly. I can't believe I actually let my guard down!

Everyone: After a few minutes, everyone follows Willow, Mazurn, and Sand-Claw. The party easily gets back together. The forest is dense. However, you all find yourself walking cautiously towards some gentle music. Soon, you arrive at a clearing. In this clearing, the dwarf you saw earlier is drinking heartily while the anthro bird (a male) is gnawing on some bones. However, you also see a human male with tribal tattoos and garb playing a couple small drums. But what draws your eyes is the woman in the center of the clearing: an anthro fox wearing only a dress so sheer that you can vividly see her fur's vibrant orange and white hues. She is dancing for them. However, it is not an erotic dance; it looks to be more of a dance that one would perform to go along with a bard's tale.
Willow: You can tell that, despite the booze, the dwarf is very aware of your presence.

As we had approached the clearing, I darted behind some shrubbery to watch whatever it was going on. I didn't just jump out in front of people who might root for the other team. I tilt my head and raise a brow when I watch the fox dancing, but keep in mind to continue watching the others in the clearing. "If the first challenge is a dance contest I could take that on," I say sarcastically under my breath to no one in particular. I also keep a hand on my blade just in case and after a few thoughts I decide to take it out of it's sheath.

I watch curiously at the sight of what is happening in the clearing, but I do not say anything. I simply lean against a tree and watch, not bothering to hide nor bring attention to myself.

I watch the group curiously from the trees, sitting on a large branch and resing my back on the truck of the tree. The group seemed harmless enough, perhaps even friendly, but how to go about inquiring for help? I'm not exactly dressed to impress right now, but I guess that could be an advantage. I start to wonder if they could see me; I wasn't exactly trying to hide, after all. I wave to them to find out; not a dignified, princess type wave, but my preferred method of just a normal, cheerful, friendly wave. I didn't need to impress people out in the wilderness, after all.

I sling my weapon on my shoulder, and approach the interesting group. "Hey, dwarf, might you tell me how it is that you managed to fly to the woods, and not spill a single drop of ale?" I ask. "Oh, and forgive my rudeness, I'm Sand-Claw. Those stange people behind me are my adventuring party!"

Leina: "Ye be either stupid," the dwarf says, "or brave. I'm goin' with brave!"
Apollo: "Afternoon," the anthro bird says, not looking up from his bone.
Layla: The human pauses his drumming to return your wave.
Sand-Claw: "I dinnae have ale on me, act'lly," the dwarf replies. "Ah, Sand-Claw. I be Lud Lightdigger. This lot be ME adventurin' party." "YOUR adventuring party?" the fox says in a melodious voice. "I do believe that I formed it, and have led it since." "Aye, but the dragon been'a talkin' tah me, not ye." "Then you should have informed her correctly." Even through this exchange, the fox does not stop dancing and the human keeps on drumming. You also notice that her melodious voice has a French accent.

Stepping into the clearing, Willow obsevered the scene before her before heading over to the dancer.

I stand up, still holding my blade and walk slowly out into the clearing, continuing to keep my eyes on everyone there.
