every level you gain after graduation(as genin or higher) grants you some money. at genin rank you get a paycheck of 25 * X where X is the current level you've gained soooo: you made it to level 13 then your paycheck as genin would be: 13 * 25 = 325 for that level. this paycheck goes of at every level while in a genin or higher rank so even during bulk updates you'd get the paycheck from every level you've gained to that point. http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=22429541the link has all the perks you get from being certain ranks including their paychecks.

So if you spam level up, you only get the paycheck for the highest attained level?

I always thought it would be per level *recently made a post in the basic updates thread because I was way under what my math said it should have been...*

Optikk So if you spam level up, you only get the paycheck for the highest attained level? you get a paycheck for EVERY level based on the rank whether the levels are updated in bulk or not. I knew I'd end up being confusing. XD;; @kevrandus- and i fixed that biz up for you too = w=b

As soon as you reach 100 lines =400exp you graduate from the academy to genin, therefore you are still under level 3 meaning that from level 3 onward you get the paycheck rewards of a genin. is that a correct assumption? I'm just trying to make sure because my post leveled me up beyond that point to exactly level 4 lol.

well usually when you level up in the academy you post it during your rank up. So when you gain the levels your rank has already switched from academy student to genin. I've been putting the rank gain on top of the stack in graduation updates. if you were to hang out in the academy and never request the graduation and just level up then you would get no money. 3nodding
