"No," Ari said, rolling her eyes and smiling, "I probably wouldn't... but not everything is seen your way!" Ari winked cheerfully. "This is coming from the girl who has her significant other sleeping in her room," Ari reminded her. "Trust me, Ev, I get it. I really do. You gotta trust me with what I do, ok?" she asked, giving her hand a squeeze.

{{It's ok, Silver! You're a good RPer, and we're all allowed to have 'off' days. lol!! I just didn't want to lose another male character in the story. We need male characters for balance! biggrin }}
Lin's eyes widened. "Well, that is not good. I am surprised to hear of a headmaster behaving this way. Of course, I believe that Ialo is the youngest headmaster in a long time."
Lin reached into the top of her dress and pulled out a new pendant of elven spring water. She leaned over and held it out to her professor.
"Professor, my sisters, who go to school here as well, gave me another pendant of spring water from home. Since they still had theirs, they were able to quickly form a water portal, went home, and got me another one. If you wish, Professor, I am sure my people would be more than willing to give you one as well. That way, you could use it to transport between Mystic Fountain and here to Bai Ching, or anywhere else you wish. This way, you would not have to expend your own energy to teleport."
Lin shrugged and smiled somewhat bashfully. She looked at a spot behind her professor. "Or, you could simply speak with Headmistress Krause about staying here at Bai Ching as a guest for awhile. We have beautiful, large guest suites here, near the school. Or you could even stay in a hotel in town if you wish."

I think it must be b/c they're getting ready for the Easter event. Just my opinion, though.}} Ever couldn't help but laugh at what Ari said and nodded. "Yeah, that's true. If we were all the same, the world would be hella boring." Her eyes widened then and she gasped. Horror was written on her face as she stared at Ari. "Wait... what?! You know about.... Ares and his...sleeping arrangements?!"

(Ugh, tell me about it, lol! && Thanks!)
"It's not like I'm trying to know or anything!" Ari said, on the defensive now. "It's nothing like that... I just heard you," she said softly. "I met you the next day, and when I went to your room and heard Ares talking about the lake... it was the same voice, and that was your room. I may be mortal, but I'm not dense!" she said, laughing. "Having super-hearing doesn't hurt either... well, in some cases it does, but the sensitive hearing is mostly due to my powers."

Ophiuchus nodded. "He probably is... Most young men his age have just finished their first years at a university." He stopped and thought for a moment about that, but simply shook his head.
"You... would give me a pendant?" Ophi smiled at Lin. He wasn't sure if he actually needed one, but the mere fact that an offer like that was made meant a lot to him. "I'm honored that I'm that trusted!"
He reached out, not to take the pendant, but for a quick hug. "I would love to visit Bai Ching for a while - but I don't think I can, because of my position at Mystic Fountain." It wasn't just the he was the school's physician, but he was also a professor, and an adviser to Ialo - and a bit of a guardian too, since Riser was there.

Lin smiled when her professor hugged her. She was very surprised that he did, but she was very happy that he did.
But when she heard what he said, her smile turned into a small frown. She didn't want to appear immature, though, by frowning just because she didn't get her way, so she tried to force a smile on her face.
She looked back at her professor. "I thought, however, that you did not want to go back to your school right now, Professor."

Ever completely forgot about Ares down the hall behind her right now. She was only focusing on dispelling what Ari was probably thinking right now.
With her eyes still wide and a very bright blush gracing her cheeks, Ever shook her head vehemently.
"No.... no no no! Nothing like that! I have never slept with him! I've never slept with anyone! He just... spends the night sometimes. But it's not like you and Musica at all. I'm not trying to develop a romantic relationship with Ares. He's a god, the God of War, at that. He's not exactly faithful. It's just...."
She shrugged her shoulders. "He can be fun to be around, surprisingly. And, I'm just having fun. I know that I'm too young to get so serious over someone, but even if I was older, I would like to think that I would NEVER get so involved with someone after just one day!"

Luli rolled her eyes to herself and took the phone out once more to dial Musica at the shop. After a couple rings he didn't pick up. She tried three more times. "Tough luck kiddies, the man won't answer. Probably busy being ten kinds of giddy, wouldn't surprise me." In fact Musica was being several kinds of happy at the moment. He had left the phone on the table and it was on low, so as he played the piano and guitar loudly he couldn't hear the phone ring. Probably wouldn't until he gave up on Ari coming, which would take several hours.

”Are you saying I would?” Ari challenged, raising an eyebrow to Evermore coolly. She listened to Luli and bit her lip. She supposed she would go… but no funny business. ”I’m going,” she said to Evermore, ”I’ll be there and back before anyone notices. Musica is a friend… and it sounded important to him.” With nothing more to say on the matter, Ari turned back to Luli, and gave another smile. ”Thanks for trying… I suppose we ought to go rescue your sibling now?”

Ever just sighed in frustration and leaned back against a nearby wall. Fine, she wouldn't say anymore about it, but she was chasing after a guy that had left her yesterday! And she was going to miss classes and possibly get in a lot of trouble, just for some guy!
This was bad. Not her business, of course, but it was bad. Especially if Musica pissed her off again. Then, Ari would come back all pissed off and vengeful, and Ever would have to take care of it since she was a Fury. Dammit all....
And she really hoped that coffee girl hadn't heard what she and Ari were talking about. Then she would overheard them talking about Ares, and that wouldn't be good. But by her lack of reaction, she hadn't seemed to have overheard them.

Ophiuchus did however, chuckle softly. "You're right, I don't want to go back there right now. And, I'm not going to. It's not a real visit if I'm only here ten minutes, right?" He smiled at her. "Besides, I'd like to think I'm needed more right here, where there's a student who wants to learn from me."

"As you wish, Miss Ari." Luli hated it when people couldn't make up their minds. Go with your first instinct, for it is always the best one. At least in her opinion. "Come along then, the sooner we get started the sooner we can have you back here. I don't think missing every single class is a good idea." She said as she strode down the hall, not watching to see if she was being followed or not. Despite what everyone may think, besides Bo of course, Luli could be very considerate at times and even thoughtful. As for the Ares matter she couldn't care less. So what if he's powerful and one of the big twelve? Musica was the son of one of the favorite Gods, for everyone and every creature so loved Baldr. That is except for Loki, but he was banished for causing Baldr's death. He pretty much had a creature army in Luli's opinion. Which was quite far from the actual truth.

Lin laughed softly, though she was still disappointed that her favorite professor would not be staying at Bai Ching as a guest for awhile. But she appreciated his sense of duty.
Lin reached up behind her neck and deftly unhooked her pendant. She slipped it off of her neck and then held it out for Ophiuchus.
"Here, Professor Akakios. Just in case you change your mind, you can use this pendant to come back to Bai Ching at any time."

Ari waved to Evermore, and then departed after Luli. It was hard not to be irritated by the girl when she seemed to have so little patience with you, but Ari found Luli’s irritation slightly funny. She kept that to herself, however. ”Yeah…” she said, ”…but at least I’ll miss math!” Ari made a face.

Ophiuchus accepted the pendant, and he bowed to Lin. "I am humbled," he said. He was smiling, but he was also fairly serious. This water was precious, and Ophiuchus thought it a great honor to receive it.
"I will visit you often," the healing professor promised. "After today, I might not be able to come back every day, but I can try." He grinned brightly. "On to happier subjects! What have you done so far?"
