"hmm...is that a regular punishment for such an offense? Or did they do it because Lecta is your granddaughter? that seems very harsh....", I didn't really know what to say. Among the high elves, punishments were given according to the offense, and offense alone, no matter who the victim. But even banishment was saved for the worst of criminals. It seemed to me at that moment that no elven child should be driven out of his homeland. no matter what he's done... perhaps I didn't know as much about the world as i thought...

"Yes that is why, and no one shall hurt any of my familly. Even tho she may never live the life of royalty. I still still care. And love her no matter what..."she sighed and lowered her head"I cant let anyone harm her...She's far to sensative. Emotionaly and Physicaly...Mentaly is the worst of it. If she hurts emotionaly...it could ruin her life...".

Serobi was rather surprised. After he had packed up, her majesty Astai pushed her unwanted guests towards the room with much impatience. In Serobi's opinion, it was quite a low class behaviour considering she would be the queen. Disregarding her grandmother's strange behaviour, he turned towards Lecta. She was still injured, he knew that much. Injuries take time to heal and she would need alot of rest. Opening his mouth, he searched for the words brief enough so that she would not waste recovery time or annoying her grandmother.

"Lecta, I am re-developing the scriptures imbedded in my thoughts. This will help you in your elemenkinetic skill, control and strength once you have mastered it. Once I have completed it, study it hard. Perhaps tomorrow, with the permission of your grandmother, I will give this to you. After recovery, I will train you as if you were in real life combat. The training will develop your overall magic defense, stamina and maybe even your bodily strength." he explains, and pauses for a quick breath. "You will need to recover soon so we should not be here until you are better. We also do not want to anger your grandmother."

That wasnt exactly 'brief' since Serobi decided it would be best to explain everything now and clarify things during the traning. Soon, he would complete the scriptures and give it to Lecta.
"I will have more to explain soon..."

((Sorry I could only post once for today. Certain people call to me for 'help'))

Lecta stared up at Serobi and smile. She shakily rose to her feet. Stumbling forward. She wrapper her arms around him into a hug"Thank you Serobi..."she whispered and released a sigh. Lecta's body shook, struggling to keep herself up. She laughed"I'm so weak...Its just...rediculus isnt it..."she informed, running her fingures thru her hair"Its embaressing to be like this infront of you guys...".

"She mightn't be royalty you say? Why is that? i assumed she was your natural Heir to the throne? Is it because she's so 'weak'?" i asked the queen. Goodness customs here were very different...But i assumed this had to be expected. I wasn't sure that even the High elves would support a queen who was so unusually weak...

I felt guilty for speaking of my mistress in such terms...especially Lecta in particular. She didn't seem weak to me. Mentally of physically. Perhaps a little fragile, and petite, but not weak. I believed Astai might have had skewed perceptions of her granddaughter's strength. Maybe lecta had been gone from her city far too long...

"My daughter was ment to be the heir to my throne when I pass it on. I will not ever die...Unless sucum to some desease..."she stared up at the elf with serious eyes"She will not be handed the throne till she proves herself worthy. She had failed her training as an Kynetic...Its the greatest power you could ever have. And our powers run greater then most in this world...she an emberasement to us all...".

"Your people have grown weak. The newer generations of night elves do not seem to have the strength as the time I last visited this place." he says, looking away in disappointment. "Even you werent trained as well. Perhaps the queen was confident that the undead will not reach this place so there were less warriors created. Dont worry, you will soon rise above them all."

Serobi grasped her fragile arms as she weakly struggled.

"You must not waste any further energy. Your body is draining your life stream every time you stress yourself. Soon, your normal energy will be regained. Dont move yet." he says and slowly placed her on her resting bed.

I was stunned....that the queen would have the audacity to speak of her granddaughter in such a demeaning tone, to a strange elf no less,"I'm sorry to hear that milady...Let me help her. I may not be a kynetic, but i can teach her many things about the world we live in, and train her in things other then kynetic gifts. You'd be surprised at the things stars see sometimes, and you'd be even more surprised at how much the stars can teach us all. Even those who can't sing their songs can learn a libraries worth of information if he studies the stars properly...Let me teach her discreetly. I've found that people learn better when they don't know they're supposed to be learning it... We wouldn't even have to leave the city if that is something you'd be afraid of..."

Bold? perhaps, but necessary. In a world like this, disaster seemes to strike unexpectantly...even in the most well gaurded places. Millions of hazards could not only live, but thrive under a victims own land...his own skin. Anything could happen to the queen at any second. Lecta must be taught. She may be weak physically, and that may be something that cannot be changed. But if she finds the right training, she may well rise above her, alleded "mental weakness". She was strong of heart, and often a person's heart spoke stronger then the mind. I intend to train her, whether the queen agree's or not....

"Maybe I could he-" he cut himself short after the words slipped out of his tounge. Serobi had said so much which also wanted him to be additionally beneficial to her training."Oh, nothing...I was just saying that after Serobi had completed your training, you can use me as a practice dummy."

Everyone had their role: The Lycan was fast and versatile, Serobi was an exceptional Druid, the elf was a great healer. Draku felt useless somehow. He had not contributed alot to Alerna's future and could only sit back as Serobi said how much he could help Lecta: Mentally and within. Serobi with that training could even strengthen her life stream but Draku had nothing good to provide. No knowledge nor training. His skill, knowledge and history was inadequate. Hopefully, Meldonar has enough resources to train their soldiers for war. If the queen allowed me to use any of these, maybe I could be of some use in the future. Perhaps I will not fall to the undead because of my weakness. When will that elf bring us to our quarters? I feel increasingly incompetent compared to Serobi as he continues to explain his skill. Of course, who am I to compare myself to a high elf... he thinks and once again, cursing his weakness.

Staring with weak eyes, her sould felt defenceless. A sigh escaped her lips, she was frustrated beyond compare"You will realy help me?"she asked and pulled the blanket over her bare body. Shivering at the cool air and smiled weakly, perhaps Draku could aid with her physical training? Staring at him, the look of his features seemed...odd"Draku, you feel un needed dont you..."a smile spread across the girls face, Lecta reached over and ran a hand along the side of his face"Dont worry...you can...help me with my physical training....But, something you all must know...My arms and ribs are not as strong as they use to be...I was thrown from the city, and hit a large tree branche braking all my ribs and bolth arms...Draku, thats why it was so easy to hurt me...".

"I can try to train a human with weight training and strength but I'm afraid that might be inapplicable to your race." he says. "That's pretty much it."

Draku gave out a loud sigh and stared around the room. "So, what does your grandmother think about us? Are we welcomed around here at all or are we just a nuisance that brought harm to her child?"

Outside, in the hallway, Eleyym concluded his convrsation with the queen,"I understand milady. I will let you get back to your duties. You must be busy as high queen of Meldonar. I'll bring our comrades to their quarters. Thank you for this talk. It was very informative..." i told her..unsure of what else to say,"Good night milady". She left with a quick nod, and presumably returned to her chambers. I entered the room again, checking on lecta and her friends. I could tell they were all exhausted. We all needed rest..."Hello again. I've come to bring you all to your chambers for the night. We all need our sleep. You too lecta", i winked at her, "Please, follow me," and with that, left the room. I thought i heard Lecta call something after us, but i couldn't make out her exact words....

Lecta twitched and released a sigh"Werres my food!"the frustrated girl shouted out to the elf. Crossing her arms, she struggled turning her exausted body onto its side. Draku's comment made her heart sink, was he realy un needed? Perhaps, he played a bigger role then just training her. Mabie more then a friend? It was just a guess, anything could happen. Rubbing her flat stomack, Lecta played with her messy hair"When I feel better tomorrow...I will show you all werre the springs are, we can go relax....".
PostPosted: Wed May 02, 2007 5:53 pm

"We will see you soon." he says and concludes the conversation. "I did not catch your name, elf. Please, lead us to our quarters."

With that, he walked outside the room and gave one last glimpse of her. It is now the duty of the elf, her protector, to keep her safe and tend to her internally injured body. He waited for the rest of the group to come along with the elf.

Draku gave out a soft laugh. "The springs huh?" he says and turns around to leave the room. With one last look over his shoulder, he says, "Lecta, quickly get better for us?"

Draku left Lecta's medical examination room with a soft smile. Sleep..his body was craving for rest, a long, deep slumber would sound good for the night. He met Serobi just out the door and also waited for the elf. Perhaps he had some last words to Lecta before escorting us to our quarters. ||Im still in cat form just so you guys know||
