"Just rest and you will be healed from the pain of the darkness." Sodain whispered to Lita then moved over to the other man. "oh nothing harmful just going to see why your cold. Just relax as the light scans you over." Sodain said softly as he manned a console pushing certain crystals and adjusting nobs as an orb cast pale green light from head to toe and back up a few times before locking up.

An alarm went off as the man was strapped by thick strong bars loosely over his body and Sodain sighed pressing a few buttons more. and the light yellow this time and warm bathed him as if pure sunlight shone on him. "I see so that's whats going on..." Sodain said looking over to the man rubbing his chin as he thought.

Sodain walked around to the front of the guy holding his hand out with a black gem in his hand which glowed and Sodain held strongly against it but it seemed to want to go to the man and he sighed. "It would seem as if your part Shadow kin. They are similar to the sky people but well the opposite of the sky people.

I won't know the extent of how much unless I can examine a sample of your blood., but it seems as if at least one side of your blood line there was at least one shadow kin that shared it's bloodline with your family line.

But usually if the shadow kin blood activates you can cause pain to the pure blooded sky people with just a twitch of a finger or a glance. It also lowers your body temperature drastically thus the cold feeling. Also the detection of this set the bed to restrain you in case you tried to aggressively attack anyone upon finding this out.

It is just a automatic response for protection." Sodain explained softly. Watching the man. "But depending on the percentage of blood it may be able to be blocked or completely removed. Of course I can not take a blood sample or block, or even remove it without your permit."

Sodain nods and looks to Lita. "Hear that Lita? I think he has a crush on you." Sodain teased them both and then took a device placing it on the mans wrist hooking a vial in it and gathered a total of 3 small vials of blood to test.

He took the device off his wrist and there already was no holes having been healed and went over to another area placing them in a device as the vials got spun and then automatically loaded into a testing machine that tested the blood from each vial and showed the display. Sodain tweaked a few things and then nodded.

"Well the good news is it's less then 20% shadow kin blood." Sodain said as he fiddled about getting some odd gun like device and got a vial of dark blue liquid that the machine filled up. "Bad news is it's not removable." Sodain said moving over loading the gun like device with the vial "So because it's not removable I have to give you a shot."

Sodain held it just inches from the man's arm. "You may experience a few things, like feeling ice flowing through your veins, then fire and then a strong pain. But that is the serum blocking the shadow kin blood and powers. And you must also be placed in a barrier where there in no chance of any shadow forming. Because the shadow kin might sense this trying to happen and try to claim you as another person for their dark deeds." Sodain explains to the man to let him choose if he really wanted to go through with this.

Sodain slapped the guy not hard but enough to calm him slapping him out of his freak out. "No this shot will just block the shadow kin powers your blood contains. If you don't go through this then they can still get hold of you. then they can modify you to be more like them. you will get pleasure out of chaos and fighting those with light.

But this shot will hide you from them. And no you would master the abilities your blood gives you. but the more you try to control them the more they will control you instead." Sodain tried to explain.

"oh no this will prevent something like that." Sodain said touching the end to his neck and then there was a hiss as if just air shot out no pain from and needles because there wasn't any it shot it in through the skin with use of compressed air yet no air would go into the body, but the serum and a nano chip was inserted under the skin. Moving away Sodain spoke.

"There all done. Now that wasn't so bad was it?" Sodain asked laughing a little as he watched the man.

Sodain laughed. "Well it might still hurt after the serum runs through your body to block the shadow kin blood and powers in you. But the injections we always have used are a molecular dispersal through the skin. You folks almost have the same method for giving shots. Well close enough to like our shot administering technology, though you still use needles." Sodain said poking his tongue out a bit and closing one eye to tease.

Sodain lowered the bed from a angled up right position to a more laying back position but still at an incline. Then he activates a light barrier to where no possible shadow could exist around the man. "This light barrier will protect and should help sooth any pain you nay feel from the blocking process, but for your safety I need to keep the restraints in place until the process it complete." He said standing by the controls and kept watch on his vitals to adjust the healing light how it was needed to make the man as comfortable as possible.

"Yes they both will be alright. This light I surround your friend in will ease the pain in a few seconds but the blocking has already severed the connection that he was unaware of that triggered and latched onto the nearest light dweller to him." Sodain said sighing pondering how he could explain what happened he sighed.

"Sorry my lady. Something has came up to where the full truth must be told." Sodain said softly then looked to the humans. "I protect the dwellers of light from the twin kingdoms of Syna and Dira in the language of light it translates literally Syna as light, and Dira as darkness, In kin to the sun and moon one can not really exist with the other in a way.

But they are like evil twins of all from Syna. the shadow kin wanted everything the light kin had as well as what the shadow kin already had. And after a while the shadows attacked the light and in the end the light kin sealed away the darkness in the clouds of night. which resulted in the decent of Syna to the lower lands quite roughly. And in this end result, if any shadow kin escaped being trapped and survived the fall of Syna they would have ingrained in their blood the unconscious want to hurt those who are the light kin.

Even children of the survivors who had no knowledge of this, and no real reason would without knowing they might trigger that blood born programming the shadows engraved in their blood might seek to hurt those of the light kin. True born of Syna or descendants of Syna as well as true born or descendants of Dira with or without knowing their powers may unknowingly attack one another. Syna's descendants powers would only activate if attacked severely.

But they could stop them from attacking because of being gental and forgiving. Even the oldest survivor still alive has forgiven the shadows for attacking them." Sodain explained in long detail. Then he spoke more. "Though I protect the light kin, or those still alive from the origins of Syna before the fall, and those of their offsprings lines after the fall. I am not exactly one of them." Sodain said sighing.

"Lita is a member of Syna's medical research division, there were over 4 thousand survivors from the fall of Syna. yet about 5 times more survive sealed away on Dira. Most of the population of Syna perished in the war before Syna fell." Sodain said softly. "Though as you know Syna fell about 5,000 years ago, Yet with me telling you I lived among them you don't bat an eye." Sodain said seeming intrigued about this.
