Sorrel let out a chuckle as Greg climbed off of him, letting the other male help him up. He went over to where he had been bathing and grabbed his own stuff- pulling his clean shirt over his head whilst he held on to his other clothing which was now coated in dry blood. He'd probably have to dispose of them, seeing as blood didn't like to come out of clothing. when he returned to Gregory he was ready to go and thus they started on their way back to camp. "How...well, Dorian is the captain of the crew, who you have met- so it's safe to say that they were on the run and stopped at this island for a breather and....well, they met here on this island. I heard it wasn't so smooth in the beginning and not all the Islanders were exactly happy when my dads started to get closer but hey, they over came that pretty easily. Then the Navy came and well, they were separated for five years, the navy came back and captured my people. Sikari and Dorian met in prison and Dorians people busted them out. They escaped and well... They're living the life now I guess!" He stated, knowing he was cutting the story sort of short but- there was a lot to be said. "I mean, Dorian and Sikari would know more- but It's hard to get it out of them without them getting all mushy about it and...yeah." He muttered- thinking about it whenever they started talking about they got a little too close and Sorrel found he had to leave the house for a while. "But yeah, I guess they had to overcome a lot to be together." He murmured, unsure of what else he could say. Sorrel wasn't like most of the people here, sure he was affectionate but growing up he didn't have many friends his age because of his gift, they thought he was weird and thus- he wasn't the best at social interaction. Most people just let him do what he wanted now, and he did have his admirers, but these were the people who shunned him as a child. "I'm lucky to have such loving parents" He stated, knowing that if it had been anyone else it was likely they wouldn't have even tried to raise him.

"Wow, that's one hell of a story. I'm sure if I heard it all in detail it would take years. Must have been hard on them when they were separated for five years. If it was me it'd probably feel like an eternity, which it most likely would have felt for them..." Greg fell silent for a moment as he thought about what Sorrel had told him. Both of his fathers must have gone through so much within their love life. Though Greg hadn't personally felt a strong love and the emotions that came with it, he certainly had struggles of his own. But now things were different and he had a second chance at life. It was hard to think that he would go days thinking about how nice it would feel just to be dead an no longer be constrained to his useless body.
Needless to say, Greg was rather weak now that he thought about it. He had given up hope so easily while others were going through the same struggle or a struggle equivalent if not more than his own yet they powered through it and made something of themselves. He had to put meaning in his life now.
With that in mind, he glanced over at the young man and asked, "So, is there anything i can do here on the island that can be of use? Hmm I guess I'm asking if there's a job I can do. I don't want to be a lazy bum after all. My arms and back are pretty strong so i can lift and i'd say I'm decently smart. I can be of help in something right?"
He must have sounded a bit desperate, but in a sense he kind of was. Things were different now and he had to learn to be independent...at least a lot more than he was use to. Here he had to do stuff on his own now that he was well and able and no longer restrained to a chair. It was time to put this body to use.

"You know, after hearing it a million times, it doesn't seem all that grand anymore. I guess it's more of an amazing story that i think it is...." he voiced, pursing his lips ever so slightly as he contemplated the story of his parents before shrugging his shoulders nonchalantly. He turned his gaze to the other male, an impish grin on his lips "Their love life did not not suffer however. believe me. I have to leave the house a lot." He mused. Sorrel wouldn't complain, they were two healthy men after all. It just got awkward from time to time, he could always tell when the two of them were in a rut. His face softened ever so slightly at the hints of desperation in Gregs voice, it had to be hard going from one lift style to a completely new one. The island required a lot more from people, physically for the most part. "There are always things to be done here. I'm sure you'll be taught how to hunt, asked to help prepare meals, everyday tasks really. But every little bit counts. You'll be kept busy regardless. Plus i'm sure you'll eventually find something here that you want to do. Hunters, teachers, healers, the list goes on and the village always welcomes new ideas and perspectives. " replied, letting an easy smile grace his lips, something friendly to try and ease the other males worries. "Just take it easy, you'll figure out your place in time. For now you're under the care of my family! So don't fret" He chimed, letting his gaze roam their surroundings... He always felt more at home within the forested lands.

Greg relaxed a bit with Sorrel's reassurance as he let a small smile grow on his face while he continued to follow the male back to the village. He looked around as well as he liked how beautiful this jungle seemed to be. Wild life was so beautiful and there was so many plant he was not aware even existed! These plants clearly indigenous to this island. In fact, some of the plants here seemed as if they came straight out of a fictional story. This place was certainly a place he would learn to love and maybe even slightly obsess over.
With that in mind, he wondered if the medicine woman who had helped heal him would be willing to take him in as some kinda apprentice. He wanted to learn about these plants and their medical properties. Greg was a nut when it came to plants and their beneficial properties. For now he would work on anything anyone needed his help with. He didn't feel confident enough to go speak to the medicine woman or ask Sorrel. He would stay in the background for now.
"So, how has your love life been like so far?" Greg figured a boy as beautiful as him would have had ex's by now. Or maybe have a girlfriend or boyfriend right now. Perhaps betrothed to someone? This village seemed like it might practice arrange marriages but that wass just an assumption.

It too Sorrel a moment to process the question the male had just put before him, love life...that wasn't even something he had ever really contemplated before as he was used to others simply leaving him alone due to his unique connection to the earth. Pale cheeks warmed slightly as he let slightly widened aquamarine eyes shift to the male walking beside him "T-that uh... it's not really" He started, unsure of how he should explain his whole situation."Well..Seeing as i'm not exactly like everyone else...." He muttered, lifting a hand to run fingers through his silvery locks, pushing it back off his face as he averted his gaze. "I guess I have some admirers but, no one's ever really approached me in that sense" he finished, feeling oddly embarrassed by a question that really shouldn't have bothered him at all. Letting out a breath he'd not known he was holding, he let his hand fall to his side and glanced over at the other male with a timid smile on his lips " I guess I get too caught up running around in the forest. The thoughts never really occurred to me... despite how healthy my parents relationship is" he added with a small shrug, letting his gaze wander from the male and back to the path in front of him, though a slightly jittery feeling left him feeling a little shaken.

Sorrel seemed flustered and Greg didn't know why. Only when Sorrel revealed that he pretty much never had a love life, did Greg know why. He smiled and tried not to laugh though he wouldn't be laughing at him but with him. Greg was in the same boat however he didn't have admirers, at least none that he knew about. Girls didn't necessarily find him attractive simply because he had been cripple. It was ******** up but that was the truth. "I see, well that's a bit of a surprise," He commented as he looked at the male and kept his amused smile. He couldn't remember the last time he ever smiled so much. His life consisted of a lot of frowns and emotionless expressions. It was strange to smile so much.
"Well I'm very sure that if you wanted a girlfriend or....boyfriend? I'm sure that you'd be able to get one fast. You are uh...extremely attractive after all..." Did that sound weird? He looked away and tried to hide the warmness of his cheeks. It felt so odd complementing another male but he truly meant it. Sorrel was like a God. Just that thought alone made him feel even more embarrassed. He was just glad Sorrel couldn't read his mind.

If Sorrels cheeks hadn't been obviously red, then they definitely were now. "It's not...that surprising" He murmured, listening to the male continue on how he could probably get himself a girlfriend or a boyfriend if he wanted. What really threw him off was when the other male voiced that he thought that he was extremely attractive, it threw him off enough that he stopped walking and stared at Greg, whilst his face grew even hotter- he had to look like a tomato now, well, that was likely an exaggeration- but he felt like his face had to be bright red, even if it was a faint flush against his pale skin. "I uh... Thank you" He voiced, knowing it to be a compliment, though it wasn't exactly something he was used to hearing. He knew he looked a lot like his parents, and others spoke of them as extremely attractive individuals, even he knew that Sikari was quite beautiful, and his father quite handsome. But he never really applied those terms to himself. Taking in a deep breath he lifted his hands to his face, rubbing them down his face as he exhaled, trying to get himself to relax once more, though he still felt a bit jittery for some reason. The compliment had left him with a shivery feeling in his gut, something that left him feeling unsteady. Dropping his hands to his sides he let his gaze wander , simply staring into the jungle. "Well, the same goes for you- you've already amassed quite the fan club" He voiced, turning to compliment back on the male. It was true, Greg was a handsome male, and he had a look that one didn't see often within the tribe- something foreign much like Dorian and his crew, though they were all hardened sea folks.

Greg had continued to walk until he finally realized that Sorrel was no longer beside him. He looked back and noticed the male look around as he turned and walked back to him. His own blush had faded as he stood there and listened to the male bring up that he had a fan club of his own. Greg hadn't really notice and he didn't really care. In fact he found it odd that he didn't care. He spent half his life hoping he could get people to like him and want to be with him. Now that he was being told taht it was possible he no longer cared. Why? The reason was in front of him but he was completely unaware and for now clueless.
Hearing the compliment from Sorrel, he couldn't help but smile and feel a bit of his self-esteem go up. This was coming from a heavenly person after all. "Really? Well, thanks. I suppose I take after my father with all his sharp and broad features. You're like a perfect mix between both your dads. Perfect." He repeated as he was almost lost looking at the male. He averted his eyes quickly and rubbed the back of his head.
"Uh, anyway, lets head back."
He turned and started to head to the village which was close by. He finally emerged out of the jungle and saw the village as everyone was working and the village seemed alive. The smell of roasting meat filled the air and he was getting pretty hungry.

Sorrel could feel the other males gaze on him, and it simply made that shivery feeling intensify, to the point where he was grateful that the other changed the subject, simply nodding when Greg said they should continue on their way back. Sorrel emerged from the jungle right behind Greg- his face still a bit warm, but no longer red- and the feeling in his gut had subsided a bit, though he felt that he was perhaps a bit too conscious of the other male now, a feeling that left him curious and uneasy all at the same time. "I need to go and see how things are going in preparation for dinner and then get ready.. I'll um.. see you at dinner okay?" he voiced, wondering just what it was that mades Gregs words affect him so... "Anyway...see you!" He stated quickly, before he jogged off in the direction of the prep area- stopping to talk to those in charge of cooking. He was quickly shooed away by one of the other villagers, telling him that since he had taken down to boar, he didn't need to help with preparations. Next on his list of things to do was burn the clothing that he had spoiled with blood, which didn't take much time. Soon he found himself at home- surprised to find that neither sikari or dorian were in...they were likely off somewhere together. Sorrel paid no mind to that and simply began getting ready for dinner. He tied his silvery hair up into a ponytail- not really caring about how neat it was. If someone complained, then they could fix it. He then found himself something a bit warmer to wear- he had a feeling the night air would be colder tonight than usual- not freezing, just a little chilly. When he had finished he let himself laze about for a while, his mind wandering back to the compliment the other male had paid him- It had left him confused, but there was a pleasantness to the feeling as well, something warm. Some time passed and he found himself dozing- before the smell of food wafted into his home and his stomach decided to rouse him. A soft yawn parted his lips as he made his way out of the hut him and his parents occupied, making his way to the shared seating area where the tribe gathered for meals. They usually only gathered for evening meals, mornings were more of a quiet, private time. Sorrel simply plopped down on the ground near the fire- another yawn parting his lips as he lifted his arms in a lazy stretch- the heat letting him remain in a relaxed almost boneless state.

"Oh...alright. See ya," Greg gave a slight wave as he watched Sorrel rush off. He blinked and was surprised to see the fella rush off in a hurry. Was it something he said? Was he being too friendly? Greg rubbed his arm a bit as he was a bit worried that he made Sorrel uncomfortable. Hopefully he didn't just scare off the only friend he had. He straightened up and looked around to see if he could be of any help. Seeing a couple guys working on chopping wood, Greg went over and approached them to see if he could help them out. The were friendly folk and let him help especially letting him take over one of them who had been working for quite some time. Greg of course was happy to take over.
Rolling his sleeves up, he picked the ax up and worked on chopping wood. It was his first time but he was doing his best. The other men gave him tips and soon he was doing a pretty good job. Greg was happy he was doing well as sweat dripped down his face and soaked the collar of his shirt. He was unaware of the group of admirers gathered off to the side as they gawked at his strength and how sexy he looked as the sweat made him glisten.
After an hour, Greg stopped when he felt a presence behind him. He looked and saw Dorian approach him as he set the ax down and wiped some sweat off his brow. "Good afternoon sir..."
"Dorian is fine. Now come with me, I have a personal favor to ask you," He smiled and waved Greg over as he started to walk toward the beach.
Greg swallowed his saliva as his throat became dry all of a sudden. He followed Dorian as he wasn't sure what his favor was but he could only hope it was something he could do. The last thing Greg wanted to do was mess up and disappoint one of Sorrel's dads.
Soon enough dinner time came. Greg had spent his time with Dorian on his ship and the two arrived at dinner a couple minutes late. Dorian patted his shoulder and mouthed something to him before going over to Sikari where he sat and joined his love.
Meanwhile Greg stood for a while before spotting Sorrel as he went over and sat beside him as he was given a plate of food. He smiled at the male and dug in as he was pretty hungry. He then looked down and noticed how he was still a bit wet from his sweat from earlier. He could only hope he didn't smell too bad.

Sorrel was quite content to merely nibble at his food, taking his time as he turned his relaxed gaze upon Greg and Dorian- curiosity sparked as to why the two of them were together, though he pushed down his curiosity as he couldn't see it as being his business anyway. "Hey" He voiced simply as Greg sat down next to him and recieved a helping of food- watching the male dig into his food for a moment before turning his attention back to his own food. It was obvious to him that Greg had found something tot do, and a small smile graced his lips for a moment- already he was fitting in and he'd been so worried. Sorrel himself found that he was relieved to know that Greg had kept busy. Once he was finished with his food, he set the plate down and drew his knees up to his chest, still enjoying the warmth the fire provided- he had been right- he could already feel the chill in the air. He let his gaze shift back to Greg slowly, taking in the other males figure as the sky grew darker and the fire provided most of the light. "So, I surmise you found something to do" He stated-- shifting his arms around his legs and resting his chin on his knees as he turned his gaze back to the fire- watching the flames lick greedily at the fire wood. "And you spoke with Dorian? Hope he didn't cause you any grief" He added with a soft chuckle- letting his eyes drift shut for a moment, before slowly blinking open once more.

"Yeah, feels great to do something for once," Greg chuckled as he took a bite of meat. He licked his lips as he didn't realize how hungry he was. It was hard for him not to eat like a beast and possibly disgust people around him. Even though he was on an island with natives, they all seemed very well mannered. If anyone were to be called a savage it would be him if he allowed himself to eat like one. He restrained himself and ate slowly and not too big of bites. He looked over at Sorrel when he mentioned his dad as he couldn't help but smile a bit.
"No, not at all. He needed some help on his boat and asked if I could help." One part of the favor was not to tell Sorrel about it. After hearing what it was, Greg understood why. However Dorian was okay if he told Sorrel later on when the time was right.
After finishing his meal, someone came by and collected the places and bowls. Greg had thanked the person who took his plate as he glanced over at the male to see how sleepy he seemed to be. "Hey...uh is there any hot spring around here or something? Or some way to get warm water? I could really use a bath." He chuckled a bit as he didn't really like being sweaty and smell for too long.

Sorrel let out a soft hum of approval, watching as his plate was collected and turning his attention back to Greg when he asked if there was anywhere that he could get cleaned up. "Mhmm, C'mon, i'll take you" He voiced, his voice rich and relaxed as he stretched out his legs, before getting to his feet. Once Greg was up and following Sorrel led the other to a small but well worn path- which was lit by a few glass encased lanterns courtesy of Dorian and his crew. The night air was an unwelcome intrusion against his warmed skin- but he didn't mind it too much- he'd adjust to it. It didn't take long to reach a few pools of water with steam rising from them- a place he didn't come often as he usually just cleaned himself off in the lake. Sorrel came to a stop near the pools- turning to look at greg and forgetting just how slippery the stones could be thanks to the steam. Aquamarine eyes widened in surprise as he lost his footing and fell back into on of the pools- submerging him for a moment before the broke the waters surface- a ripple of laughter escaping his lips as he sat up in the water. Silver strands that hadn't quite made it into the ponytail now stuck to his neck an face- and his clothing which was now nice and waterlogged clung to his body. "well- that was unexpected" He mused as he sat there, simply getting his bearing but not quite as sleepy as he was before due to the little burst of adrenaline he had just experienced. He lifted a hand to free his hair from it's constraints before pushing it all back off his face- feeling the already cooling water drip down is neck. He hadn't looked to Greg yet- instead he simply tilted his head back and stared up at the sky- as the pools had created a bit of a clearing. "Good night for a soak I guess" He added- pondering if he should bother getting up and removing his soaking wet clothes. The answer? He simply pulled off his shirt and threw it on the ground.

Greg followed the male as he looked at the lit path as it was beautiful. He had never seen anything so beautiful in his life...other than Sorrel. He smiled a bit as he couldn't help but compare beautiful things to Sorrel. What did that mean? He walked to the spring and saw Sorrel turn and then he had fallen back. It happened so fast! He blinked and rushed over to make sure he was alright and he hadn't hurt himself when he fell into the pond. When the male resurfaced and began to laugh, Greg became relieved. He was okay and so he didn't have to worry. He couldn't help but let out a chuckle and join in the laugh.
"Well that's one way to get in," He muttered and figured he'd join the male as he stepped in with his clothes still on. He began to remove his shirt but before he did, Sorrel spoke then shed his shirt off. It was already hard to look at the male with wet clothes clinging to him, now he was half naked. Greg averted his eyes as he took his shirt off as well as well as his pants. He sat in the spring naked. The water was a bit murky so there was no need to feel too uncomfortable.
However he couldn't help but look at Sorrel more. His slender body looked so soft and...His mind began to race and be was beginning to feel some kind of desire swelling in his belly. Worse was he was starting to get an odd sensation down below, something he had never experienced till now. Greg shifted a bit as he didn't know what to do.

Sorrel remained as he was for a moment longer, before turning his gaze to the other male whom had joined him in the pool, brows furrowing ever so slightly when his gaze rested upon Greg. Rather than relaxed, the other seemed to look a bit uncomfortable- and instantly Sorrel worried if he was feeling sick. Without thinking about it the other shifted in the pool to lean over, and pressed a damp hand to the other males forehead, finding that he didn't feel overly warm he simply pursed his lips "Are you feeling alright?" He voiced, letting his tone remain light as he pulled his hand back- not taking any note of just how close he was to the other male now- after all he'd never really had cause to worry about it before and Greg didn't seem comfortable. "Is it too hot? Did you need me to get you something?" He added- his aqua eyes fixated on the other male, completely oblivious to the fact that he was the cause of the other males 'distress'.
