Gwen jumped slightly at another voice. "I'm fine. Just.. Leave me alone, please." The girl fought with the phrase and her accent was thick. Why was she having issues with the language now of all times? She and Abel spoke Japanese perfectly as if it's their native tongue. It was their parents that had problems with it.
Shaking her head, Gwen forced herself to calm down. She had to return to class after all. But, that meant seeing her best friend heartbroken. She couldn't stand it. All seemed quiet outside the stall, so she dared to open it. At first peek, the girl saw no one. Once the door was fully open on the other hand. Gwen silently swore as Aye smiled at her. Wiping her eyes, the girl walked by the oldest to get cleaned up at the sink.
"Morning, Senpei.."

Aya listen to the young girl seem to struggle which speaking Japanese. In her head she was trying to pick out her accent and eventually nailed it down to French. It was then the door open and Aya saw the young blond walk out of the stall. She knew this girl, it was little Daisuke's best friend. She smiled as the girl walked by her to wash herself off at the sink. She was starting to put some pieces together. This morning it seemed like the young girl broke it off with Daisuke or something like that, but for her to be in such a state it seems like there was more to the story. Could it be issues at home? Either way, the whole situation didn't sit well with Aya too well. Daisuke is a good kid, and for her to have been so close to him, she must be too. For now, Aya was just trying to calm the girl down and then possibly try and fix thing.
Aya: Morning um....*tilts head up and puts finger to chin* Gwen-chan right? Daisuke told me about you yesterday.
She had remember yesterday at practice after she shooed the girls away, Daisuke mentioned he had a good friend that would normally help him out in those type situations. She could remember how his eyes lit up when speaking about his friend. From that she knew they had to be very close.
Aya: If you like, we can talk about what has you upset. *smiles heart warmly* Whadaya say?
Aya wanted to give the girl an open invitation to vent. Even if her overall school façade was that of the 'perfect senpai' she still actually care for her fellow students, especially her Kouhais. She wanted to fix this issue not just for this girl's sake, but for Daisuke as well.

Gwen gripped the edges of the sink. Hearing Daisuke's name and how cheery the upperclassman made her sick and it took everything for the girl not to lash out. Aya's just trying to help after all. The bathroom lights flickered as Gwen took a deep breath, before splashing her face with cold water.
"Ma mère doesn't want me around him anymore and if I don't listen, she'll send me to France to enroll in a snob school."
The girl looked into the mirror at Aya, her face showing the evidence of an emotional break down despite the blond's best effort and she hated it.

Aya could tell the young blond was struggling to keep it all together. See could see the pain in Gwen's eyes in the mirror and it pained her heart a bit. As the lights in the bathroom flickered a bit she heard the young one speak up. Her French wasn't that great but she assumed her kouhai said her mom.
Aya: Oh dear.....
It is exactly what she thought it was. From the looks of it, her family must have some status or something and poor little Daisuke must not be a good 'fit' for their daughter. Just seeing this poor girl in this state pissed Aya off a bit, but she made sure not to so it.
Aya: Well have you explained this to Daisuke yet?
After hearing that she has not, everything started to fall into place. Now the real question was, how to fix this. Aya knows how one's family name can hold so much wait. She also knows of how some parents are so stubborn about it, they would risk messing up their kid's life to get there way. So what could she do about it. She was silent for a minute, but then am idea popped in her head. I was a long shot, but worth a try.
Aya: So....from what I'm gathering is you family must be of wealth and little Daisuke isn't 'worthy' enough from your parent's point of view. Well what if were say, a junior Olympic champion. What would that do?
Aya could see she now had the young blond's full attention now. The scheming side of Aya was now starting to show.

Gwen shook her head at Aya's question about Daisuke, still looking at her in the mirror.
"How can I?" she sniffled, finally turning to face the older girl. "He has enough stress."
Gwen hung her head with a sigh. What she was doing wasn't helping him either. If anything, it was hurting him more. She leaned back against the sink with a heavy heart. Only glancing up when Aya mentioned a junior Olympic champion.
"What exactly do you have planned?"

Smiling at the young girl, Aya spoke to her.
Aya: Well I believe little Daisuke can actually be a future Olympic athlete. He has that kind of potential. But...every great athlete needs great support.
The older girl then began to approach her kouhai while extending her hand out to her. Aya knew all too well what could happen if an athlete didn't have that support. They would stop caring and end up wasting all their talent. She almost saw that happen to her cousin and it pained her to see Jacob go through that.
Aya: You are that support for him. You need to be by his side.
Aya could see just how much Gwen also wanted to be by his side as well. She could tell that the girl cared deeply for her friend but felt a bit powerless. This is were Aya's revealed her plan to the blond and it actually was a pretty good one.
Aya: For you to be beside him and be that support you should also join the Track club. You have to body of a 800 meter running and seeing how Gekko High's track is known to be one of the best in the country, with many of our Alumni becoming Olympians, just making it on or team hold some merit. That way you can be their next to him while also making a name for yourself.

The girl could only chuckle at the thought of her joining the track team. That would be a guaranteed deportation, or at least a month grounding.
"It's not that easy, senpai. My parents want me to be a proper young lady and anything that causes sweat isn't ladylike. They would be furious if I joined the track team. Besides, I don't have an athletic bone in my body."
Gwen shook her head and smirked lightly.
"Abel and Alfons would have way too much fun watching their heads explode and Alfons wants me to join a club as a cover.."

Aya watched as the girl chuckled a bit. It wasn't the reaction that she was looking for, mainly because she was serious that the girl may have some hidden athletic talent that she probably doesn't know about. She's noticed of the years of her being captain, that those that think they aren't athletic, usually are very talented. Either way, seeing the girl like this was way better then her about on verge of a mental breakdown.
Aya: Well, that might be the case if you ask them. But what if you were recommended by our coach?
She was sure to catch the young one off guard with that statement. Usually its impossible to just join Gekko High's track team because they are so prestigious. Most on the team currently were the best at their previous school.
Aya: Yamada Sensei should be your P.E. teacher. She is the girls head coach. If you want to take up my offer, tell her you want to try out for the track team and run the 800m during P.E. If you break run it in under 2:15 coach will be begging to have you on the team. Besides, if you just join a random club, if you stop going to said club activities to sneak out and see Daisuke, I think it would cause more problems down the road.
Aya couldn't tell why, but she had a really good feeling about Gwen being a good 800m runner. She couldn't put her finger on it, but she just could. Coach Yamada really trust her with recruiting because of this.

Gwen sighed. Looking at Aya, the girl knew she didn't fully know the situation the blonde was in. Guess it was time to come clean. Something Gwen dreaded but knew would happen at some point.
"It's not going to work.. My family owns one of the biggest companies in the world. They want me and my brother to be perfect little China dolls they can put on display so anything that isn't 'Proper', they would ground me or deport me. My father is friends with the owner of this school and my family throw dinner parties all the time."
Gwen had to stop herself and take a deep breath. She felt all the frustrations building as she explained and knew she could be seen as snapping at a helping hand when she wasn't. The girl felt like a chess piece and it was driving her crazy. Gwen just wanted to be a normal girl. No ties to money, no powers that she could barely control or even experiment with. She didn't have any way of releasing the surge of energy properly without fear of blowing a breaker of an entire building or what people would say or do.
"I'm just here for the school's bragging rights since my family funds the place. The senseis would be pleased if I took your offer, but my parents would not..."
The girl's gaze lowered to the floor and her voice softened.
"I need to stay in this school to protect Daisuke. I can't do that if I'm sent away to France for disobeying my mother's wishes."

Saito walked to school with his nose buried in a detective novel. He was focused on trying to figure out who the culprit was before reaching the end of the book. He thought it was good practice for his deduction skills, but it was possible that he was good at figuring this stuff out due to the literary clues in these types of stories.
He stopped the reading the book momentarily as he came up to a busy street. As he waited with the rest of the pedestrians to cross, his mind drifted to the Ginrei brothers. The two boys had been his friends for the better part of seven years, but Saito had been keeping them at arm's length since his powers had manifested. The teenager was still trying to make sense of them and he figured it was for the best to keep them as uninvolved as possible. Even if that was the case, they still didn't deserve the treatment they got from him. Saito went off on Aoba for helping him with Tomoya and he ignored Sora's question about walking home.
Saito sighed as he recalled the events before walking across the street. He knew he was in the wrong and had to apologize. It may have not been his favorite thing to do, but he could admit that the Ginrei brothers weren't bad people to have around. Besides, if he had learned anything from these past two years of high school it was that life was always better with friends.
As he walked through the school gate, Saito happened to spot a member of one the tightest friend groups here at Gakko. Kairi Berry stood amongst her fellow students with her silver hair and bookish charm. She had been friends with Aya and Seriana since Saito began school here, and judging by their antics from yesterday, they enjoyed their friendship a lot. The teen assumed that she was waiting on her friends, but upon further inspection, she seemed to be waiting on two other students. Saito followed the path of her stare and saw one male student talking with Saiyori, the returning angel of Gakko High. While she may have missed last year, it seemed as though her popularity hadn't missed a beat. With knowing how much her reputation preceded her, Saito wondered exactly how this guy managed to get a private audience with her.
It may have not been any of his business, but Saito didn't see the harm in exchanging pleasantries with a classmate. Stifling a yawn, he walked up over to the girl and stood by her, his eyes concentrated on the scene before them.
"People watching before class?" he asked without looking in her direction. "Or are you taking bets to see how long he lasts before getting shot down?"
-------------------------
As Yusei and Saya drew closer to the school, the 2nd year's friends joined up with them during the walk. Saya listened as boys talked about various things likes the sports clubs, video games after school, and which girls had the best chest. She rolled her eyes before slipping on her earbuds and jamming out to anime songs.
Once the sibling pair arrived at school, Yusei and Saya parted ways. As the blonde was making her way to her locker, she happened to catch the scene between Daisuke and Gwen. The girl rushed by Saya without a second glance, causing the other to stop in her tracks.
Did something happen between those two? she thought to herself as she made her way inside the building.
After changing her shoes and grabbing her books, the 1st year was soon in class with everyone else. Sitting behind Gwen, Saya saw the girl was getting more uncomfortable by the minute. She looked over at Daisuke and saw that he resembled something of a sad Togepi. Something had happened between these two, but the blonde couldn't imagine what was. Suddenly, Gwen asked to be excused and she dashed out of the classroom. Saya watched her leave, a bit worried by what was going on.
A few minutes had passed and Gwen still hadn't returned from the bathroom. This worried Saya a great deal, seeing as she didn't look to be in a great mood before she left. The girl raised her hand to also be allowed to head to the bathroom. Upon receiving permission, Saya headed for the door before pausing momentarily to flash a "thumbs-up" to Daisuke. It was her way of telling him that she was going to check up on Gwen.
After leaving the classroom, the girl headed for the nearest bathroom on their floor. Once she found it, Saya was about to enter when she heard Gwen's voice and the voice of someone else inside. She wasn't sure what they were talking about, but the blonde came in when Gwen said that she needed to stay here to protect Daisuke and she couldn't do that if she was sent away to France.
Is Daisuke-kun in some type of trouble?! she thought to herself, alarmed before placing her ear to the door to get more information.

Back in the classroom Daisuke was still sulking, not really paying much attention to class. He wasn't sure what to do. He noticed that Gwen had still not returned yet? Was it because of him? This didn't make him feel any better. He noticed Saya ask to uses the restroom as well. Before she left she gave him a thumbs up. All he could muster up was a weak smile as to be saying 'thank you' back to her.
------------------------------------------
Aya stood their and listened to the girl fully explain her situation. It was exactly as she thought. She asked the young one if Daisuke knew about this new bit of information and of course she said no. This just made the girl sigh a bit. Aya knew that all this was just too much for the young girl to handle alone. She could clear see the mix of emotions in the young one and how she was loosing control. Aya simply went over to the girl and gave her a gentle, embracing hug.
Aya: Listen Gwen, I can't give you the right answer. Only you can do that. I am just giving you more options to explore. You're a strong girl, but you don't seem to see that yet.
It was a this moment Aya felt the wind flow change a bit from outside the bathroom. Seems they had someone eavesdropping. Maybe a concerned friend of hers? She then slowly pulled away from the hug, look the girl in the eyes and gave her a heart warming smile.
Aya: Tell you friend about your situation. You don't need to do everything be yourself. I'm sure if anybody, he will understand and it might even push him harder to do well. As for protecting him, you don't have to do that alone either. My cousin had gotten a likin for him, as of I. He's the little brother I always wanted. And who knows, there might be someone in your class that cares for the both of you too, right miss?
Aya spoke up bit when she said 'right miss'. She was looking towards the door when a slightly embarrassed young girl walked in. Aya just smiled and the new young blond that walked in. Aya hadn't seen her before, but she the two seemed to know each other. This caused her to chuckle in her mind thinking that Daisuke's type might be blond haired girls. The girl began to walk out the bathroom but turn her head back to Gwen.
Aya: My offer still stands if you ever want to reconsider. Made both you and you friend might be able to make the team. We have openings on our 4 x 800m team.
The girl gave one last smile before walking off. This was all Aya could do, and it would be up to Gwen to figure how she wanted to handle this situation. But she didn't believe that she at least help the young girl even a little bit.

Jacob did Isamu a huge favor by bailing her out of her suggestive social gaffe. Why did this guy seem to have a way of awkwardly taking her words away? I mean he's really cute and friendly and that tone body...STOP, just STOP! Isamu thought to herself, trying to fight off a blush with all her might. She looked back at her classmate with a bright and friendly grin, something she hadn't done in quite a while. "Food sounds like a fantastic idea! I know a few good places around town. You supply the food preference and I'll supply the destination and good company." The wink and grin she flashed him was a genuine one and the excitement was quite evident on her face.
The whispering din among the rest of the class certainly increased in fervent activity as this little event unfolded. Isamu never really cared much for idle chatter, but perhaps this time the rumor mill will be established and brought down a notch. At least they won't be trading rumors about where she had been for almost half of the semester at the end of last year. Some thought she had a secret love child with a teacher, others thought her parents sent her away to live with some European family in the hopes of broadening her horizons in some type of exchange program. What added to the mystery was that Isamu confirmed nor denied any of it. She certainly didn't like the rumor mill surrounding her activities but at the same time, how do you explain events that you're not sure you remembered correctly?
She was just there to learn and possibly do some extracurricular activities. Who knew that extracurricular also meant hanging out with a cute boy on a social level. The thought stayed with her as she took her usual seat in front of Jacob. She gave her friend some time to ponder over what he wanted to eat and plotted out all the possibilities and appropriate places in her mind. As she pulled her first notebook from her bag, she couldn't help but smirk to herself. My little guardian is going to hate this distraction. I have to be certain that Jacob isn't a pawn in our little game we play.

Kairi looked at her watch as she waited on her friend, hoping she would get a chance to talk to him before class. She sighed then looked up upon hearing a male's voice. Saito? He was actually talking to her? The girl knew very well he was and the rumors surrounding him. The boy hardly spoke to anyone outside his circle. After a moment, Kairi smiled warmly.
"Morning, Kurosaki-sama." Tucking her hair behind her ear, Kairi turned back to the upperclassmen. "I was hoping to talk with Soren, but it would seem Saiyori-senpai will be occupying his attention until class."
She looked back at Saito, still smiling as she adjusted her glass. This is the longest the girl stood beside the "Schools's hottie" and she could now see why he earned that rep. Saito was cute in her opinion, but she never understood why they acted like fangirls around him. Even now, she could see some girls out of the corner of her eye, staring and whispering. The same could be said about Saiyori and Soren. She internally sighed at how hopeless people can be.
"What about you? Taking bets on the glares both they and we are getting?"

A shiver ran down Saito's spine as Kairi used the "Sama" honorific in his name. While he was only addressed with the "Kun", "Senpai", or "San" honorifics, only the truly dedicated members of his unofficial fan club would ever address him in that way, as if he were a literal God among men. The teen was able to recover from the shock pretty well, rubbing the back of his neck as he continued to look at the pair ahead of them.
After hearing what Kairi said, Saito began to recognize the male student speaking with Saiyori. It was indeed Soren, a Senpai who kept to himself just as much as Saito did. Now it made sense, somewhat, as to how he was able to get some one-on-one time with the girl. They were both on the same tier....at least in grade anyway. Saito did find it a little odd that the longer he stared at them, the easier it was to notice other groups of students staring at them like that as well. It was to be expected, after all. Saiyori was the perfect vision of beauty and the majority of male students would've given anything to be in Soren's position. The stares and glares that Soren was receiving for gracing the "Queen" with his presence just caused Saito to shake his head.
But then, Kairi drew attention to the stares and glares they were also getting. Saito knew the type of perception most of the girls gave him, but this was the first time he was actually viewing it for himself. The young man simply rolled his eyes in annoyance before turning his attention back to Kairi.
"I'm sorry about this. Hope it doesn't cause you any trouble later on," he said before looking at the two upperclassmen. "As for Soren-Senpai, he seems pretty preoccupied at the moment. Best save your message for him later."
--------------------------
Saya continued to listen on the other side of the bathroom door until she heard the phrase "Isn't that right, miss?" pretty loudly from the inside. Saya was taken aback, thinking that she was pretty well hidden but found out nevertheless.
Oh well. All I can do now is head inside, she thought to herself before doing just that. Once inside the bathroom, she saw Gwen talking with a girl who looked much older than she was. Saya's crystal blue eyes scanned the Senpai, mesmerized by her chocolate skin, blonde hair, and...."well-developed" gifts. A scarlet blush found its way to her cheeks as she bowed to the girl.
"H-Hello. I'm Takada Saya....nice to meet you," she said before turning to Gwen. The older girl said something about joining the 4x800 team before leaving the restroom entirely. Once she was gone, Saya turned to face Gwen herself.
"Gwen-chan, is everything alright?" she asked. "I was...worried about you so I left to see what was up and I....heard that you were trying to protect Daisuke-kun. Is he in some kind of trouble or something?"

Kairi shrugged to Saito's apology. She didn't care what other people thought. The only opinions that mattered were her friends and certain members of her family. Something she learned from one of her idols in the books she read back in America which to this day, her father would send the new releases. "What trouble? It's funny seeing how people act. Besides, if anyone starts anything, Aya and Seriana will do their yuri act with them and they'll run off." The girl looked back at the upper classmen. "Seems like you're right. I'll just give it to Seri to give to him. He'll probably accept it without a fight, then." Kairi's attention returned to the boy beside her, still smiling. "Should we head to class?" <><><> Gwen looked away, wiping her eyes while swearing silently. Someone else heard? Everything the tried to keep is now unraveling in the matter of moments. She slowly nodded to Aya as the elder girl left and Saya walked in. Luckily, the electric user regains composer quickly. When Saya asked if Daisuke was in trouble, Gwen shook her head. "No. He's not in any trouble.. Bullies like to pick on him cause how small and timid he is." The girl looked at Saya. "How long have you been listening?".
