A friend of mine Chojiro was actually able to speak to Fleetwoods privately, and apparently the guy gave him a rather sincere apology and reason as to why he was doing this. Also I saw his Touya//Hillbert cosplay in the arenas for next week, which was in-fact very solid, but his description was trying to point out that his entry was bound to fail due to his excessive trolling and the unfairness of expensive cosplays...

Apparently him and his girlfriend are pair cosplayers and his girlfriend is the female Neo Team Plasma Grunt cosplay in arenas this week. Despite the entry being solid it's clearly along the lines of newbie level work. His argument is how unfair that newer and cheaper cosplays tend to fail against wealthier cosplayers that place every week due to the fact their wins is based on their popularity and support from not only guilds and group entries but the basis itself of having sheer expense over accuracy. He made a formal and sincere apology to Chojiro who gave him a honest comment on his Hillbert cosplay.

To be frank I find white knighting to be as equally annoying as trolling; especially when taking it to extreme lengths as TSDMG takes it as. Force feeding trolls ultimately doesn't resolve anything, let alone when excessively used against even the general and honest consensus that something isn't really good at all.
Goddammit it's why I hate Kotaku for constantly shitting on the fighting game community entirely for labeling us sexist pigs for two commentators with inexcusable behavior.

Exactly, I've seen her around arenas on enteries every now and then. I usually tend to steer clear from that can of worms.... Not enough French Vanillia caffeine, and coffee cake doughnuts in the day. Though I don't blame their behavior at times, I've personally thought of loosing my s**t at times for the sake of defending a few entries from a special friend. In all honesty I'm pretty envious of her skill at times. At least I hope they just don't seldomly attack groups because of certain members either, that would just make them complete hypocrites.

There is someone out there doing that though, I think the Shipwrecked group got hit by it last week (There were some very solid entries in the group and I was disappointed not to see at least one of them place). It'd be interesting to see how the Pokemon group gets on, a lot of those deserve to place. And they make Coffee cake doughnuts?! emotion_omnomnom

Well, the group entry from the CB had a thread where they linked to all groups that were in the Arena that week. They didn't ask for downvoting, but maybe some CBers took it about themselves to do that, anyway?
