"A similar thing to today happened about a year and a half ago, only he wasn't in such beatup shape, and I was the only one there. I helped him out, and we became good friends. Then one day-one day- h-h-h-he said" I was choking up, sobs beginning to form."He said he loved me, and gave me a ring. He said when we were old enough w-w-w-we could marry and he would be the first Shadow to live through all his dreams. He bought me the Shadow game and that poster and signed them with notes saying he loved me. he day he signed the poster was the last full day he lived through. The next day, some big robot came and took our emeralds before Shadow could defeat it, and it used those powers in the emerald to capture him. He choked Shadow, and Shadow began to spit up blood. His eyes glazed over like any dead thing, and then the horrible robot threw him into the air so hard that Shadow went straight up into the air and was never seen again. I beat the monster for him, and burried the emeralds in his memory. Ever since I have been alone, hiding in the shadows, thinking-knowing- that there was no point to life without him. Now he's back, and I can live again."

I wiped my tears from my eyes and took a deep breath.
"Imagine for a moment a wonderful, happy life full of friends and family lovingly around you taking care of you. Imagine having everything you ever wanted in life and beyond, in your favorite place. Your dream life, your true love, your best friends, all of it. Imagine that you have it all. Now imagine some huge thing only interested in power taking it all away, and you not being able to do anything until it's to late!" I said, shouting and sobbing at the same time now."Imagine! Perfection, everyhting you want! GONE! Because you were dumb enough to think that one person could save you, and there was nothing you could do afterwards! An idiot has no right to live on after that! No right!" I lowered my voice, looked down, and said solemnly "An idiot like me has no right for any of this. None at all."

"i have expeirinced just that i had a girl freind and a baby on the way when i was kidnapper and they were slaugheterd the next day i had a gun to my head wishing to take it all but i couldnt bear to use it instead of doing it i lived through six years of experimantatoin until i was freed by a blue hedgehog named sonic he freed me from my prisen and gave me a new hope i found meaning i found out about shadow and here i am" goren said his smile didnt drop through the story

My eyes went wide. "Experimenting!? Yike!" I said."I met Sonic once, but he was only interested in talking to Shadow about 'old times', which of course Shadow didn't remember."

I pretended not to hear that thought, then I took out the necklace that Shadow had given me and whispered into it "Glass of cold water" Then Goren was holding a glass of water. Then I whispered "Virgin Bloody Mary" and began to drink what appeared.
