((And so I choose none other than BEN O-O...okay so it's not that exciting...ONTO THE POST!))

Ben pushed open the doors to the school, gazing into the front hall. He headed towards the front office, so he could get all of the post-OSS business out of the way. He couldn't be blamed for the stupidity of some punk, thinking he could pull a knife on him like that. All Ben had done in response was made a slightly bigger knife, out of thin air...now that he thought about it, it was a pretty stupid move. He spoke boredly and unenthusiastically, giving lame excuses for why he was coming in late on his first day back.

He took the tardy pass, stuffing it into his pocket. "And put down that hood" snapped the assistant principal. Ben pulled the hood from his head, turning and stepping out of the office. He held out his hand, and four quarters popped into it. He'd need money to eat, even if it was conterfeit.

He looked up, pocketing the fake change he had conjured. "Hey" he said in his usual quiet and bored tone. "I think I might get something to eat...not sure yet" he said. There were days when he found himself too lazy to eat at school, so he simply waited to get 'home' to eat. A dumb decision indeed. ((Folks riding me to log off, and thus do I gamble my open position on this roleplay freezing until I return. Till then, see you then))

"Finally back" came a gruff voice from behind him. A young man, seemingly bigger than Ben in every aspect. He simply turned to him, staring the fool in the eyes. This was the same guy that had got him suspended, and though putting an 8-inch thick 6-foot long steel spear through his chest would make him feel better, he wouldn't give in to such murderous inclinations. "Not now, Zeke" he muttered, not willing to deal with this at the moment.

He lifted Ben from the ground by the scruff of his hoody, staring him dead in his grey eyes. "Listen here, punk. You pull some bullshit like that again, and you're gonna regret it" Zeke said angrily, thinking that what Ben had done the other day was some sort of trick. "Know your place, BOTTOM OF THE GOD DAMNED FOOD CHAIN" he spat, bringing his fist up and throwing Ben to the floor. He hit it face down, motionless as Zeke stepped away from the scene.

He could have killed him, he could have wounded him beyond recognition. He couldn't, it didn't matter how far they pushed him, he couldn't lose control of himself again. He simply stood, brushing himself off and inhaling as he regained his composure. He shook slightly, hardly able to contain the rage he was feeling. Ben put the hood over his head, and his hands in his pockets.

He headed over to the cafeteria, pushing open the doors and walking to one of the lines. Perhaps food would calm him down.

"Quit it" he said to the row of thugs facing him. "What, the hell are you gonna do, damned p***y" said the man on the farthest right. They all burst with laughter, and Ben simply stood up straight, looking at them sternly. "Just stop" he said, clenching his fists. One of them pushed him back, and he stumbled, hitting into another student carrying a tray.

The food went all over him, and thus did he snap. He threw off the hoody, as under it he wore a black t-shirt. In this light, it was clear that his skin was indeed very pale. "You don't ever go outside do yah white boy?" laughed the same man that spoke just recently. Metal curled out of thin air around the entire group, binding their hands and legs. Another guy had a problem with this, slugging Ben across the face.

He too was bound by steel, and soon the entire room was in chaos with itself. Not because of Ben, but for a multitude of reasons. They didn't like how Ben had these strange powers, but they also didn't like how nobody did anything, or that somebody did something. Oddly enough, Ben had flown the scene within seconds. He stood outside the cafeteria, panting as the brawl began to spew into the halls.

Teachers rushed in, and so did more students. Ben had singlehandedly brought the entire school day to a halt, because he couldn't hold himself together. "It's gonna be a looong suspension..." he thought as he stood in the middle of the hall. ((Edited))

He walked to the door, placing his hands on the handle, then the hinges, absorbing them into himself in that order. He pulled the door from the doorway, letting it fall to the ground and staring into the cafeteria. A few kids dashed at him, yelling as if beasts. He stepped back, knowing this was all his doing. He caused it, but he was in no way prepared to deal with it.

In a flash of pale white and black, he ran at full speed out of school. He didn't know where he was going, or why, or if he'd even stop. He just needed to get away. ((This used to be bigger...until Gaia...ate it domokun ))

He kept running, despite the fact that he was beginning to tire. He didn't want to go back to the way things were. People everywhere demanding that he died, that he and everybody 'like him' were killed in the most brutal fashion possible. Twice did he have to relocate, and the third time, his parents pulled out. They were tired of it, and so was he.

And now he would run. He'd run until his legs collapsed from underneath him. "I don't care...I don't...CARE!!" he called out as he ran. It was doubtful he'd be heard at the speed he was going, though he didn't want to be heard. He wanted to be left alone, and no matter how far he ran, he'd always be bothered. This fight with 'normal people' would last all his life.

It was times like these Ben felt like suicide was worth it, even if he would never end up doing such a thing, he simply began to understand why.
