The day had come; not more than one week ago the leaders of Jauhar had sent out a call. The people were to be brought together for a meeting. Jauhar had been more integrated in recent times than it had ever been and Antiope could see the large turnout of the typical shifter people, but now the crowd was becoming a blend of colors - Obans, Matori, Leaf, and more all resided in Tendaji, whether permanently or just passing through. But there was more. They had called on the people of Tale as well, and with a brief wave she could see Enki and Enlil coming through in the crowd towards her and the others.
Antiope twisted the bracelets on her arm as she looked out over the crowd. She had called them all together because of the unsettling news that had made its way into their jungle. While she hadn’t mentioned it to the people of Jauhar yet, there was a crisis afoot. She could still see the majority of the people filtering in, so she would have to wait before they could really begin, but the news worried her. What worried her more was the reaction of the people. How would this turn out, if not with worry, fear, even panic?

It was time for him to go into action! An interesting call had gone out by those in charge and he was rather eager to figure out what it was that was going on. What would call everyone together? Not just the residents of Jauhar but a lot of different people from a lot of different tribes. It allowed a mutt like Lixes to feel like he could almost blend in.
He wondered what was going on, what the elders might need, and what he might be able to do! He was rather excited about it because it meant that his aspirations of being a hero might actually come to pass. The moment that thought came to mind though he shook his head to clear said thoughts. No, no... if something bad was going on he shouldn't really get excited about it. He could only get excited later after he'd taken out all of the villains! He kind of doubted that it would be a single hero against a villain situation either given all of those that were gathered at the moment.
Turning his head slowly he looked over at his older, much taller brother, and said, "Hey! Come on, Drexl! Let's get closer!" Reaching out he caught hold of Drexl by the wrist and worked on dragging him forward.
Post 1 - open to anyone approaching Borra :3 He's a friendly sort
It wasn't that Borra had intended to come to the meeting by himself, it just ended up that way. A lute nervous held in his hands and he strummed a few notes here and there whilst people gathered around him. The young man couldn't help but feel nervous. Without his sister of even the large bodyguard Gyuri he felt not only alone but a bit lonely.
His eyes scanned the gathering crowd, hoping perhaps to see a friendly or familiar face but thus face he spotted no one. He felt his earlier bravado starting to crumble. He shouldn't let this detour him from being here, after all Borra was a performer so it wasn't like he had stage fright, but entertaining people and just waiting to have news told to you were both nerve wracking in their own rights. Sighing he went to sit down anywhere he could find a spot, his fingers thrumming a few notes again in a manner trying to sooth his own frazzled mind. It wasn't as if Borra couldn't go and mingle, make new friends even but he had grown so accustomed to doing it with others he knew and trusted around him...some how he felt like a little boy all over.

Tsallin Post 1 Tsallin had been attracted by the sense of adventure emanating from the gathering and the rumors. He knew that such excitement would attract Ruulu and he wanted to see her again. She had been the most interesting person to talk to and he wanted to continue talking to her.
He looked around the gathering of all kinds of peopke and saw a flash of red and blue. There she was. He made his way over to her not saying anything yet just standing by her side.

There was an evenf going to happen. She was glad her friend was here too both of them with their kinfa.

Drexl- Post 1
Drexl was worried as he looked around. There were a lot of people here, a lot of people who seemed rather nervous. That couldn't end well. He took in a deep breath. Glancing down to his little brother. Chuckling. "Alright, alright."
He followed his sibling. Would there be a vendor or two, he wanted to find something for Jerami.
Meeting always seemed to make Rethkk nervous, his hand twisting around his wrist on the other hand to help himself calm down. There seemed to be so many shifters here, and many other races from the looks of things as well. A few times as he made his way around the place he would find himself bumping into others and looking startled for a moment before laughing hysterically, causing the other innocent party to glare at him with confusion or anger, then walk off to leave him alone in his laughing. Yes he understood why they would simply walk off like that whenever he laughed in such a manor, but it was the only way he could find himself processing the situation. Laughing was just his way of showing interest; no malicious intent at all. Well, it was a good thing he wasn't trying to get their attention at the moment, otherwise he would probably of made them madder. He knew that his pranks weren't a good thing, but it was the only way he knew to get other people's attention. Simply speaking up didn't work for him, so pranks it was!
With the place crowding even more, Rethkk decided to try and get even closer to the front, wanting to understand why they were all gathered here. It had to be something big, otherwise why did so many shifters and other species show up? With having made it up to the front, he waited in anticipation for the beginning of the meeting.

Solari 1
Solari wasn’t a Shifter, but when the news had arrived that the leaders were calling a meeting she could not help herself and decided to go along and see what was up. It wasn’t too far from where she already was visiting anyways. After making her way there, Solari just followed the other Shifters and took a spot next to a man. She glanced at him briefly before her eyes dipped to his belt to see if there was anything of value. With everyone so close it would be easy to take a few purses from their owners out here.
Ikkio Post: 1 Location: Around and about, will find someone to interact with soon enough --------------------
Dissappearances.
How delightful.
Ikkio smirked. She was supposed to be here helping her father gather information about these disappearances, so he could do his duty to his tribe and help Antiope yadda yadda. Ikkio didn't care. He wasn't here - he was with her grandmother, helping her return from a trip to visit relatives. It was all very important, or special. Ikkio didn't care. He didn't care enough to be here at this oh-so-important meeting, so what did it matter to her? She'd bring him back a few scraps of information, enough to convince him that she was really trying to be a good girl but that would be it.
She wanted to know how, why, and who was dissappeared. She wanted to know where. Maybe she could do something with this, take it somewhere, use it as an opportunity to practice her craft how she saw fit.
In the meantime... what an interesting crowd. She could play with them if she got bored with their fidgeting leader...

Jhin - 1
Even though he wasn't native to the area Jhin was still guarding one of the forests bordering Tale. So when he heard the news the young man had hurried to the meeting place. After all if strange things were happening he needed all the information he could gather so that he could prepare a plan with the other rangers. Admittedly though coming did make the wind man stand out against the crowd of leaflings and shifters. However, he realized that he wasn't the only oddball when he spotted a familiar Matori.
As Solari's eyes dipped towards someone's belt Jhin could only suppress a sigh before sliding into place next to the Matori. His hand carefully reached out so that he could grab her wrist with his fingers, "During a time like this I hear it's best to keep others close since there's safety in numbers." He teased lightly as he glanced at her, "It seems we meet again, but once more in a different area and with a new crowd." Just like the great market Jhin was curious about what the sight of the woman would mean. Would more strangers come from the skies to interrupt their reunion?
Borra looked around nervously, perhaps he felt like he stood out a bit, amongst so many shifters his blue skin did not offer any sort of blendability with a crowd. Then him strumming his lute was starting to earn him not only stares but glares. This was suppose to be a serious gathering...not a light hearted one. Sighing he dropped his fingers from the strings and then went to strap the lute onto his back, having it put away meant that he couldn't strum it nervously, but now his hands had nothing to occupy themselves whilst he waited.
Sighing he was starting to feel congested where he was standing and decided to move towards the front of the crowd where there could be more breathing room. Pushing his way forward he found himself almost held back from the direction he wanted to move in. Still with much effort he managed his way, pulling himself out between much more muscular people than himself and nearly colliding with someone else.
"Ah! I am very sorry, the crowd seems to be getting denser.." Borra apologized to the one he ran into, a male shifter with short grey white hair and large eyes. "Have you traveled far to join the meeting?" He inquired to Rethkk trying to make small talk whilst the crowd awaited the elders to speak.

Adenah - 1
If this is what passed as 'normal' for a gathering of natives in Jauhar then Adenah was impressed. She expected to see a flood of shifters, but as she looked around the crowd that pressed against her was anything but. That man over there was clearly from Zena, another so pale he had to be from Sauti, and...just how many races did those hybrids have? She openly stared, clucking her tongue as she watched the colorful beings move around the crowd. Adenah reached out to hurriedly slap her sister's bicep, barely concealing her attempt to point them out. "Makes you feel a little less weird, huh?"
She scanned the gathering once more, mentally comparing the event to anything she had attended in Oba. It was...far more mundane than she had imagined. Even when she saw the military gather in Oba for training they had more flare than this. Honestly, if war were to break out at this very moment, she knew, without a doubt, Jauhar would be royally screwed.

Nyxamora | 1 |
With so many other natives pouring out of Tale to meet in Jauhar, it made no sense to try to server perishable goods to customers who wouldn’t be buying them. So after clearing out as much of the goods as they could and packing up the rest for their own meals, Nyxamora’s family had closed up shop to head out with the rest of them. It hadn’t been a very long trek, but Nyx was glad for the opportunity anyways; she’d had very few chances to experience the strange forests of the Shifters. But there was no way she was going to waste it cooped up with her clan, so as soon as they had made it to the gathered crowd, Nyx ditched them to do her own thing.
Hands on her hips, she paced around the group, taking in the whole scene. They certainly were a fine mess of a crowd, all awash in different colors and clothes. Was there even a Matori here as well? Either that or she was just a weird lookin’ Iceling. It’d been so long since Nyx had seen one of the Fish, not since they helped out in the war with the Obans…at that thought she hissed under her breath, catching sight of a pair of girls sporting traits of the blighters. They didn’t look like true Obans though, with that white hair and black skin…what kinda fool would want to share a bed with one of those red-eyed devils in order to make muddled children happen anyways?
She shot a glare over at the pair and moved on, meandering until she came to a natural halt next to one of the locals. Glancing over at the pale skinned girl, she caught a look in her eyes, one she was very familiar with. She often sported the same glint herself: the spark of mischief. Nyx smirked quietly to herself and crossed her arms, engaging the kindred spirit, “Hey. So you here because you wanna be? Or because you have’ta?”

Chalcedony - Post 1
Chalcedony stood off to one side, taking in the crowd, as well as the energy of said crowd. He didn't really care for said energy because it was a nervous sort of energy that told him that something was going on that wasn't good. There were many guesses in his head on what that could mean and none of them were really things that he'd consider to be 'good' either. What was it now? Another enemy? Another battle? He'd worried that the peace that they had since the battle in Sauti was growing too long, too comfortable.
Lifting a hand he scratched it against his cheek before giving a sigh. It was only natural that something would crop up after a while, things couldn't stay calm for long. It something he'd learned in his many years.
As he thought this and as he scanned over the crowd he spotted a familiar face in the crowd... one that made him sigh a bit. Ah yes, those of Tale were invited, weren't they? Of course he would show up since he was a bit like Chal in his dedication to his home and his family. As much as he didn't like to admit having something in common with the archer.

Jacinthus - Post 1
As though noticing that a pair of eyes were starring in his direction it didn't take long for Jacin to find the one that was starring... or was it glaring? Hard to say, not that he cared. It was just the idiot shield barer after all. After a scan around the crowd he moved over to stand alongside him. As much as he didn't care for Chalcedony as a person for... various reasons he felt that he could at least trust him when it came to anything battle related. If this whole mess ended up leading them into a fight at least he'd be useful then.
Here was to hoping that it wasn't that though. If a battle broke out there was a chance that his mate and his daughter would be caught up in it. Not something that he wanted to consider for even a moment because he just wanted them to remain safe and happy back in Yera. It was why he was glad that they had opted to stay back when the call came for them to gather like this. Jacinthus didn't really want to get caught up in another war, was kind of tired of them and tired of his bow being used to kill, but he might as well hear out what was going on.
Neither of the two veteran warriors really said much to each other at first, instead seemingly just waiting for word from the elders on what was going on before.
