The situation: Every once in a while I have extra credits that I don't really know what to do with. I'm only allowed to buy one pony/breeding per month. This means that even if I have plenty of credits, I can't buy someone else a pony if I buy myself a breeding/custom. But! I can buy people custom items even when I buy myself something. So what does this mean?

Custom item slots open so infrequently that I figured that it would be fun if I could offer the use of my credits for some people to get custom items! biggrin

I am not quite sure how I'm going to decide who to pick. Keep that in mind when you enter. I'm going to take at least two people and I'm going to pick them sometime late March. I'll start posting in here when I'm getting close to a decision, but I quite likely won't have a hard ending date. I might do a raffle, or might just pick my favorites. This is a totally informal user-run thing!

Another thing to remember! I like things with RP/Plot basis. razz But I also just like pretty ponies, so feel free to enter even if it's totally not plot-related!

Also! I don't do edits or fancy things like that, so winners will be working with our lovely edited soquili colorists for this!

Item/Scar desired: A "legwarmer" on his tan leg in black and blood red, perhaps lace/fishnetting/buckles/leather, as long as it's punk. Was one thing of his mother's I'd hoped he'd get--if possible, on it should be a black or red butterfly like his father's

Does this item/scar have a basis in plot/RP? No but he looks so very little like his parents, I wanted an item to help signify that he DOES come from my favorite family :3

Item/Scar desired: A locket
Does this item/scar have a basis in plot/RP? As I was deciding about who to enter in your item raffle, I actually thought up a plot for it!
So, Mintireo is wearing this locket that her father gave her for the purpose of putting her love inside the locket. Mintireo doesn't have a love, though her father doesn't know that. She wears the locket faithfully. Wanting to make sure her father knew that she appreciated his gift to her.
She meets someone (either a foal, a fan, or even someone who can grow into a love interest), who insists on seeing the inside of the locket. They are relentless in seeing what she keeps inside her locket and, since she doesn't want anyone to see, she is just as relentless about keeping it a secret.
As the encounter goes further and they move onto talking, the locket gets caught on something, or the other can pull it off accidentally. When it hits the ground, it falls open. Now this would simply be symbolic of her empty heart, and her father would get the lose clasp fixed after this whole incident.
But anyway, so the other sees that it's empty and she breaks down, ashamed that she has no love to put into it. And the other, feeling sad for her, or actually starting to feel for her maybe, offers something to her to put in her locket. And she fills her heart with love! : D
It's the most corny thing I have ever thought up, but it will help to expand and build on her character! Instead of her just being a big empty flirt, she will have some love for who is in the locket.

Item/Scar desired: A pair of tusks (think troll) that are strapped on her head.
Does this item/scar have a basis in plot/RP? Since she was very little Ziya has always wanted to be a troll. She never got along well with her own family and spent much of her childhood with her best friend Volkaz'jin. When they grew up Ziya was heartbroken when Volk had eyes for another mare. She took off on an adventure to get away from her feelings, accompanied by Volk's brother Amani. Friendship turned to romance but when Ziya found herself pregnant she ran home to Volk. When she arrived home she found Volk but he had his own foals with another mare. She couldn't stay mad at him long though as he offered to bring her into his family and Ziya ended up staying with him and his parents to raise her foals with their grandparents and cousins.

The plot between Ziya and Volk is still emerging but one day they will be lifemated. Now she'd like to show that she can really be one of the troll family by acquiring her own tusks.

Item/Scar desired: A curved, razor sharp metal blade attached to near the end of his tail (the part that curves out) with a metal band. He keeps it very clean and in impeccable condition.
Does this item/scar have a basis in plot/RP? Yes -- he uses the blade for ritualistic and sacrificial purposes in the name of the Raven Mocker! The blade allows him to control the blood flow (at least a little) by controlling exactly how much damage he does to the soquili in question. Sometimes he will only need a little from a fellow pure and devout Kalona, and other times he'll require a lot more -- especially for the less devout and lesser soquili of the world, and having a blade will make it easier to make clean cuts rather than tearing open wounds with his teeth or hooves. Járngrímur teaches the ways of the Raven Mocker and believes that just being a pure Kalona isn't enough; a true Kalona must also devote themselves to their Kalona Lord. Many of the rituals he teaches require blood!

Item/Scar desired: Scar from a skinwalker bite on the front foreleg (the bit was at the base of the knee). There was a bit of tearing at the time of the bite, making some of the marks more pronounced.
Does this item/scar have a basis in plot/RP? Yep and here’s the link One of the first RPs I did with Aydan involved him meeting a new wind soquili (who would eventually become his mate) and the two of them and another soquili from my group bumping into a skinwalker in the swamp. In the conflict the walker managed to get ahold of Aydan briefly, tearing into his front leg. After the group got away it was up to Velika to use natural healing skills she’s picked up over time to patch Aydan up, but he always has the scars and the memories of that day that haunt him.

My association of the scars with Aydan and the impact this event had on him is a basic element of his character. Though the original RP occurred in 2011 (it was one of my first RPs in this shop), Aydan’s scars (both mentally and physically) were recently mentioned in a new RP involving the familiar of the other mare involved in the event. Poor Aydan is often the butt of many jokes because his little family herd is full of adventurers and daredevils while he is the cautious one (the joke is his coat used to be all red but my girl Sonja made him worry so much that it turned his coat white) yet his experience with the skinwalker and the scars he bears from that day are a constant reminder that his concerns are valid.
