Yeah, I don't know what happened around here. Everything pretty much died (again) after the last meet-up and nothing could seem to revive the place. I also couldn't think of anything worthwhile to post, so that was another factor for me...

Yeah, it really sucks. I wish the guild was like it used to be at one point. There were a lot more people involved. But if wishes were fishes, etc.

But even if it is just three or four people, we could still try and do something. Right? Go see a movie and hang out, or go visit some interest place here in Portland. I don't know.

That's true. This guild hasn't been active in a few years now, though I'm not really sure why. It doesn't even seem to help to send out guild announcements because still no one seems to come by-- I'm wondering if most people don't even log onto Gaia anymore. I'm not even sure if Radioactive comes around anymore and I haven't even seen her log into PSN for months. So I'm not sure what's going on with anyone.

But yeah, I'd be up for a meet-up, even if it was a small one. I don't really have ideas off the top of my head, though...

Well I know she gets on Tumblr, I don't know about Gaia. And I saw her at Kumoricon this year. So I'm definitely able to talk to her.

Yeah, me either. All I can think of is generic stuff like seeing a movie or visiting some place that's interesting. But I hardly ever leave the house so I don't know what that might be. Last time she and I just walked around downtown talking about random stuff. Maybe we just all do something like that? Just, go hang out somewhere and chat. I dunno. We can see what she thinks I guess?

I didn't make it to K-con this year. I wanted to go, was working on a cosplay and everything, but I just couldn't swing it financially. Ah well, maybe next year.

There's nothing wrong with just meandering around. I'd probably be up for that. Whatever kind of meet-up is planned, I could only do something really cheap, 'cause I've been so broke lately that it ain't funny. >>;;

This may sound kind of silly, but for a movie get-together, there's always Jubitz. I think their movies are around $4 a pop.

Yeah, I know how that feels. I've been blessed with somewhat secure finances lately, so I can afford to do more. But I've been there in the no money for extra things situation myself.

I've never heard of that place. I know a couple other cheap movie theaters, actually three now that I think about it. Same pricing as Jubitz.

Jubitz is the big 'ol truck stop by Hayden Meadows. It sounds silly, but at least it's cheap, and I know they've spiffed it up a lot over the years. The place is pretty huge now. I think it's one of the biggest in the country now-- not the biggest, but one of them.

But I know that there are other cheap theaters, too. But that's the only one I know of off the top of my head. razz

I completely forgot about this thread. >_< I got started watching Supernatural and whatever. Blargh. Sorry about that. But yeah, I talked to RBER and she's out of town, till December I think. So if we did anything it'd just be us two.

Yeah, we could do something with the two of us, or wait until later, either is fine with me. My college term has been pretty hectic with two science classes, anyway, but I could probably still find some time if needed. Though not for the next couple weeks because of mid-terms.

Tell me about it. I'm terrible at science as it is, but having two science classes at once... Then mid-terms... Ick.

I sure don't love it. At all. Though it may help if the classes were more interesting... One is just a general introduction to science, the other is Water in the Environment II. Joy.

Yeah, I'd say a couple weeks. I doubt my finances will be any better, but at least I think that mid-terms will be over. (Then I have finals to worry about-- yay.)
