I just finished reading a play called M.Butterfly about a Frenchman who falls in love with a Chinese man who is pretending to be a woman to gather information.So I wanted to do a rp like that. Jason moves to Japan with his parents. While there he falls in love with a Kabuki actor not realizing that there are still theatres that only use men in their preformances. Name: Jason Prince Age: 19 Bio:Jason recently moved to Japan after his dad got a new job there even though he was 19. His dad has made him learn Japanese since he was little so he's fluant. Jason wandered around Kyoto looking at everything. He liked being in a new country and seeing everything. He came across a Kabuki theatre with a show about to start so he bought a ticket and took his seat waiting for the show.

It was ten minutes to curtain, and Kiyoshi was backstage, putting the finishing touches on his attire. He looked himself over in the mirror to make sure he looked perfect; not a hair out of place or a smear of makeup. "You look beautiful, Yoshi-chan." said one of the actors, to which Kiyoshi smiled gently back to him. "Thank you." Kiyoshi replied with a slight bow. He then stood up from his bench, smoothing out his ornate kimono with his hands and picked up his parasol. He was always nervous before a performance, but also excited. The show began and Kiyoshi waited offstage for his cue. When it was his time, Kiyoshi walked daintily across the stage as a lovely geisha, singing a song in a sweet, heavenly voice.

Watching the play unfold Jason was enjoying himself. But when he saw Kiyoshi and heard his voice his breath caught. He had never seen such a beautiful lady before. Little did he know that it was really a man.

Kiyoshi played his part to perfection as the show went on. When the play was over and all of the actors took their bows at curtain call, Kiyoshi headed back to the dressing area to get out of his costume and makeup.

Jason really enjoyed the play. After it was over he went to wait by the stage door. He really wanted to meet the beautiful performer he saw earlier.

With his face free of the heavy geisha makeup, the wig placed back on its stand, and the kimono placed back in wardrobe, Kiyoshi puts back on his street clothes. Kiyoshi wasn't into cross-dressing at first, but as he got cast as an 'onnagata', he started doing it on show days to help him get into character. Kiyoshi did make for a pretty attractive girl, with his rather feminine features and slimmer figure. He put on a long-sleeve black dress that had a bit of a Lolita look to it and flat shoes and, after applying a bit of light makekup, he left the dressing room to leave the theater. He was on his way out when he noticed someone waiting at the stage door. Kiyoshi gave the man a curious look, but stopped and approached him. "Excuse me." he said in a sweet voice, "May I help you?"

He smiled when Kiyoshi came out. "I wanted to tell you that I really enjoyed your performance today. You have a beautiful voice and are very beautiful yourself."

"It is a pleasure to meet you, Jason-san. I would like that very much." Kiyoshi bowed politely, his blush growing a bit stronger now. This man was being quite bold. Was he asking for a date, or was it more innocent than it seemed? Was Jason aware that he was a boy? Kiyoshi decided to let these thoughts go for now. Everything could always be explained later. (I'm sorry. I wasn't aware that you had replied until I just happened to check the thread.)
