You ask here in a reply if you can take the character and write a short paragraph as an example to how said character would act.
You will do this to prove that you know the character's personality and would roleplay him decently.
After you will get a reply from a moderator,you will be officially granted that character.
The character you had selected will not be available for the taking anymore.

I'd like to apply for Shizuru, if I may? Though I haven't been roleplaying her for a very long amount of time, I think I have a good grasp on her character. I don't have samples, per se, but I believe I can describe her personality (and stick to it) well. Also, most of this is in my own words, from what I have gathered from the anime/managa/OVAs. Though, when it comes to the whole Sakyo issue, I lean towards the manga version of this; I hope that's alright...? As to the character herself, Shizuru is often cold an distant, only getting herself involved when she feels the need to. Her ideology is extremely "tough love" in nature, mostly because she doesn't want her brother, Kazuma, to make the same mistakes she did - even if most of them were much closer to sacrifices than mistakes.
She really does care for her brother, as referenced when she assumed he had died during the Dark Tournament, but often doesn't show it - unless she's beating the crap out of him, of course. She is extremely cynical about the world, and the relationships in it, believing that everyone will all just be hurt in the end; this comes most from her own slew of failed relationships, even if she makes no distinction between familial, platonic, and romantic. She will do whatever it takes to see Kazuma succeed where she couldn't, even if that means putting her own happiness on hold for it.
