Lol, I doubt many people remember me. I quit playing around on Gaia about three years ago. I was, however, basically a founding member of this guild and ran it for a good year at least.
But yes, it's dead, and actually has been more or less since before I left.

Ohsee, I joined, like, a year and a half ago.
It was actually pretty active and nice. A little more on the "semi-literate" side than I would have liked, but at least there were people here.
Maybe it was two years.
Anyway, about six months ago, everyone disappeared. It's a mystery~~~

Meh, C'est la vie. I just came back to track down a few friends I used to role play with or just talk to on here.
Yeah, the semi-literacy spawned a bit before I left. I even made a school for it; I think the forum is still there. But eh, unfortunately I stopped writing as much as I used to. Nobody to challenge my creativity nomoar.
This place was pretty awesome way back when; used to have forum battles to take over the OOC, role play with the small group of people here. Meta, Hawk, Kitty, Set, etc. Fun times. Alas and alack, no longer.
Sadfaces. =(

I've noticed that there are so very few advanced or higher roleplays in Barton. It's usually a post-your-profile forest roleplay where everyone is a sparkling vampire or neko with a picture from a hentai game.
It's rather sad, but I guess that the new generation needs somewhere to start. Luckily, most phones have full keyboards now, so at least I can understand people.
I just wish they'd go through the teachers I've had and read more than Twilight.

Ah yes, the problem with the little kiddies on gaia... If it makes you feel better, I have to say that there are quite a few people who read actual literature and write well. They're just sort of hard to find..
And I sort of gave up on the guild, to be honest. I mean, it was a nice place, but since I only joined as it was beginning to fail, I didn't really feel so attached that I couldn't let it go. I do miss Niaknatan, though. It had more action than my everyday rp.

Guild can't be dead, really. We're still posting here, and if we're not the coolest people ever then I call shenanigans.
