It is the 30th century, and three great nations rule alone over the Earth. Though these nations always lived in contradiction of one another and political issues always arose between them, these nations were able to live in a great peace for hundreds of years. However, when the smaller, when the nation of Babylon, was cowardly attacked by a small number of soldiers which raided their capital during a time of great political feud between these three nations, all of this changed. No longer would these nations live in peace..
Bablyon was enfuriated by this cowardly attack on their home country, and carelessly declared war upon the only other two nations who were capable of such a task. Their powerful mage armies were sent out to start this war against the great Mech nation of Odin, and the Technological nation of Zenith.
Upon the declaration of war, these three nations built an academy to train the young and "gifted" in the arts of war. These academies, better known as "Centers" are the home for these students who range from the youngest to the eldest 20 year olds who train to one day reach the battlefield, while the true soldiers spill their blood for the cause of their country, and the villagers live on with their day to day lives, forever in fear of what is to come next...
There are three main islands across the world, each civilization residing in it's own island, separated by every other island by large masses of water.
There is one island, far off from the three mains islands. This island is uninhabited by any true civilization. Though a large part of this island is made up of lush, green forests, a larger area is a barren wasteland where many encounters have occured between the civilizations' armies. Oftentimes wars are scheduled to take place on this island.
Will you enroll in one of the Centers and train to one day bring down these forces that disturb your people? Will you jump into the shoes of one of the experienced soldiers who put their lives on the line whenever called upon by their leaders? Will you follow the life of a town citizen, who goes by his day to day, always unsure of what horrible news tomorrow might bring?... you decide.

Doesn't have to be long, one paragraph will do. Here's a nice scenario for you: You are seated on the beach, minding your own when a large blast is heard and seen from far away.
