The guild is a gigantic seafood gumbo of competitions, questions, art, writing, random chat of all sorts and much more.It's an agony aunt and a shoulder to cry on.
It's somewhere you can go where you can expect a non-judgemental and supportive environment and talk amongst friends you know like the back of your hand.
