To those who are confuse, apparently, someone 'suggested' in Dev Meat today (Friday, 27 September 2019 or those who are in another part of the world: Saturday, 28 September 2019) that zOMG should have gold/plat drop cap, and Lanzer actually, actually considered doing it.
And I guess he implemented it already now.

So yeah

Seems reasonable.

When the cap first came out before all the inflation it was 50k gold, which was enough to roughly buy a revive pack, which were 40k gold iirc.

Now its 15k plat, and currently revives are 9k plat

I didn't think it was possible to kill an already dead game even more, but if this is true... uhm, yeah, this won't exactly encourage people to play zOMG.

I don't make a lot from zOMG anyway, especially because when I have the chance to play, half of the time it's DMS, but there's no reason the cap needed to be changed. I don't think the zOMG playerbase as a whole brings too much plat into the economy.

If the Halloween event needs a nerf, nerf those earnings specifically, not the entire game when it's on its last legs to begin with.

when the game as 30ppl online at it's peak time which is dev meat time so from those 30ppl let's say 20 aren't even playing and ppl b***h it's the game that's the cause of inflation!!

did they realize that 15k is roughly the amount one makes from an amp if used to smob??

so in 20minutes ppl are done with the game for the day, since the age and lack of interesting content makes it so that plat earning is the only attractiveness left on the game!!

There needs to be a cap, just today i ran into someone gloating they've made 100k from smob today but when you think about it, that person who made 100k needs a crew of 6 to do smob, so in actuality 600k platinum was injected into the market just today.

However, the actual amount the cap is set to is up for debate. There just need to be a cap somewhere. If you think 15k is too low, feel free to submit your feedback.
