Around the Blood Tree quest not working?

I've tried to do the quest, but even when went around the tree 12 times nothing happened : Is this a glitch, or did I not do it correctly?

It works for me. As long as you walk behind the tree, it should say, "You have successfully gone around the blood tree!" It sounds like a glitch.
