I want to say that I've written close to 30, which is kinda true because I've got about close to 30 different works all written up from when I was in junior high and high school. The problem is now that I've grown up and my writing abilities and concepts have evolved, I don't really regard anything in that collection as a true novel based on one-dimensional characters with plotlines that, while full of twists, aren't complex or thought-provoking. I kinda look at them as my "proto-novel" collection, and yes the usual shame of knowing I once sucked is strong with me. crying
Now on the side of serious novel-writing, I technically finished one but am going back to revising it, and am close to two-thirds complete with writing my second one. The first one is over 140,000 words and will most likely touch 150,000 when it's revised completely, and the second one is presently close to 75,000. Bottom line: the printer is going to hate me someday. sweatdrop
