So I'm curious to know how you feel about the "My Little Pony" coming to gaia. I've always had a subtle fascination with the pony people because I am so passionate about con cosplay and interesting costume ideas.


Because I don't feel like a "real gaian" in the sense of being a seasoned cosplayer. It makes me wonder if cosplay is all a big front for people who crave attention. I have to wonder what it would be like to make an amazing costume and feel great in it. Would the experience be empowering?

I have never cosplayed in my life and probably never will, I am a big girl and there are not a lot of things i deem suitable, at some point I may ask my talented friend how much it would cost for one of her amazing full body pieces, since I wouldn't feel embarrassed in one of them.

I don't really have the money for it though either because I do Live Action Role Play or LARP instead.

I would very much say that being a 'real Gaian' has naff all to do with cosplay though , loads of Gaians don't and never will.

As for my little pony I am very happy that the fandom got what it wanted. Its not my thing personally but I am happy to have more nice looking items and I think that sponsors are a great thing. I don't get the haters, I really don't, if some one is happy let them be, also who are people to judge I am an adult but I would still go bats-bananas if they made Lion King or Pokemon items.

No I have a different character because its a different world. I also got lucky and was made a special type so I am actually a were creature. smile

I like looking at everyone's pics on FB but I wouldn't say I collect them. I am at some point going to make a montage thought with photos of me and my friends and the tickets and wristbands from the events.

It is a lot of fun and totally imersive!
