Kaenia Irae, the First Irae. She is half-drow (if you do not know what a drow or dark elf is, play EverQuest, Lineage II, or pick up any RA Salvitore Underdark novel). Kaenia Irae was concieved by a rape of her mother by human bandits, abandoned as a baby. She grew up amonst humans, and have a great resentment for nearly everything drow. Her bloodline grants her minor powers, and she is able to communicate with any animal or spider, and because of this, she has grown into an accomplished ranger, shunning all human and drow contact. Despite her resentment for her mother's culture, she still watches over and protects her little half-sister, Kekvit, with fanatical devotion. While she is master of the spear, she usually lets her animal or vermin companions do the dirty work for her, unless something threatens Kekvit. Because of her bloodline, she has a unique curse... one that drives her insane sometimes. Though not as powerful as her pure-blooded sister, it did expel her from drow society when she did try to blend in once (note: drow, more often than not, hate pink).
Description: A tall, mature woman with bluish-grey skin and white hair in a ponytail. She always carries around a long spear, and wears a chainmail tunic with leather skirt with matching boots. The chainmail is black with a red hourglass on the front (the symbol of the black widow spider). She wears a red cloak, and a pink beret on her head.

Kekvit Irae, the Second Irae, Mistress of Water. Unlike her bigger sister, Kekvit is a pure-blood drow, and enjoys all the benefits a female drow can enjoy in the underdark. A solitary girl, she demonstrated vast skill in the magical arts, and was recruited as a acolyte in the spider queen's temple. Her talents allowed her to rise in the ranks quickly... too quickly. Her frighteningly-high talent at magic made her a threat by the resident Ilharess (Matron Mother) and the archmage. Kekvit sensed this too, and easily dispatched the archmage. With no magical support from both the temple and the arcane guild, the Ilharess had no choice but to abdictate her throne when the Second Irae marched on her palace. Kekvit was the youngest drow (barely a young adult by drow standards) to ascend to the rank of Ilharess. For years she enjoyed the pleasures of being a Matron to her own House Irae, until one day a human paladin slave caught her eye. A tryst with him was not such a good idea, but she was overcome with her mother's insanity curse that she disregarded all common sense and took him to bed with her. It wasnt until later that she realised her folly, for she became pregnant. Two years later, she gave birth to twins, a dark-skinned girl whom she named Deionarra, and a light-skinned boy by the name of Khaldune. Rumors abound her House, and soon it all blew up in her face... a contender to the throne arrived with an army, destined to take the House to herself at all costs... Laela Irae, Kekvit's little sister. Kekvit was disposed of, quite violently, but survived and escaped to the surface world with her two children. She now lives in hiding, giving her children to foster parents for safety.
Description: A youngadult-looking, dark-grey skinned woman, wearing barely anything except a revealing pink robe and red high heels. She carried around a staff with a large water crystal affixed to the top, and blue sapphire earrings. Her white hair is long, usually down to her waist, accenting her green eyes well.

Laela Irae, the Third Irae, the Usurper. A full blooded drow like her bigger sister, Kekvit, but unlike Kekvit, her birth was never announced. It wasnt until she marched upon House Irae that Laela became a Household name. Whereas Kekvit is happy and generous and loving, Laela is the complete opposite: destructive, hateful, and malicious... a perfect drow. Her bloodline's gift gives her frightening ability with stealth and assassination, and her skill with a dagger and sword is unmatched. Because she allowed Kekvit to escape alive, Laela is now on a personal vendetta to hunt down her two sisters and make them her slaves. Her mother's curse courses through her veins the brightest, but with frightening results... she thrives on the insanity given, for he fuels her malice and rage. Eventually Kekvit and Kaenia will both have to confront Laela, and they both know that they must do the unthinkable (to them) to survive... they must kill Laela.
Description: Like Kekvit, Laela looks like a young adult and has dark-grey skin. Her white hair extends no further than her shoulders, and is neatly kept. She is decked out in full chain mail armor colored black, carrying a longsword by her side and a serpentine dagger (kryss) in her hand.
