Do we have to RP?
Nope. You can RP here if you want, but you don't have to. There might be perks for RPers though. ninja If you DO RP, however, I expect proper grammar and also proper RP rules. If I have to spell those out, I'll be sad. But no God Modding, no Puppeteering-- the usual. Also, no pets from other stores, and no owners! Because as we see in the story, Mortals will die.

What's the deal with the donation item thing?
Well, if you donate to the store, then your pet will receive an item-- much like the Gaia donation item. This will start out with an envelope and then on the 25th, it will open to be an item. You won't know what the item is ahead of time-- at least, not to start out with. That month's donation letters will not be available after the letters have opened. You will have an inventory which raven will keep track of and then you will be able to equip/unequip items from your pets.

So... how do I donate? And how many items do I get?
You donate by sending gold via a trade with subject line: "Athena's Curse Donation" (or something like that with the words "Athena's Curse" and "Donation" somewhere in it). You send this trade to GreenStone. Just go up to the Bank and choose a new trade and type that name in. You will receive one envelope for every 1.5K you donate. There is no limit on how many envelopes you can receive.

Can I sell my donation items to other people later?
You can sell your donation items to other people who may want them more under certain conditions. If you sell it for more than 1.5K, I expect that you will send 20% of the profits to the store since I'll need to change certs and such.

Can I direct link?
As long as you don't mind losing your cert? Of course. I'll host the cert for a week or so after each stage-- meaning that every time it grows I will post a new cert in the Pick-ups post.

OMG I LOST MY CERT!!!!! WHAT DO I DO????
At the risk of sounding like a book: DON'T PANIC. Post in the thread that you need a replacement cert, state which pet it is, and send a trade of 500g. Once I've gotten the gold, I will re-post your cert.

Why can't certain elements breed with each other?!?!?!
Because their elements directly oppose one another. They can't coexist in harmony.

Did I ever say they couldn't be? Of course they can. But in this world-- the only one of my shops yet with this rule-- the elemental properties keep them from breeding.

Sit back and relax, kids. Now's the time for the uber long post.

Stages for the Gods/Goddesses are as follows: Gem -> Child -> God/Goddess.

During the Gem stage of a God/Goddess' life, the God/Goddess can manifest thought, but there's no real movement or interaction. A good stage to start thinking of philosophical ideas, perhaps?

The Child stage represents the early childhood development years, through their teenage years. After one week of being a child, they start to notice that some of those outside of their element also happen to have different genders-- who would've thought? Crushes can start to form, but these don't last long and don't represent mate status at ALL. They've also begun to learn about their powers and have minor, unrefined control over their element.

The God/Goddess stage is the final stage. This is their 20s and up, where Gods and Goddesses have full control over their element-- they can't always do everything they want, as they are still subject to the One's laws.

And now to meet our Gods and Goddesses.

The Protectors of the Night, the Midnight Revelers, the 'Evening Follies', the Dark Goddesses. The Mystics of the Pantheon, the Dark Goddesses tend to spread their prophecies with little distinction for who wants/needs to hear them.

Dark Goddesses can breed with Fire and Earth Gods. But not with Light Gods.

The Caretakers of the Forest, the Grove Dwellers, the 'Tree Huggers', the Earth Gods. The Hermits of the Pantheon, the Earth Gods tend to keep to their own business and never-- or hardly ever-- share the secrets they've been gifted with.

Earth Gods can breed with Dark and Water Goddesses. But not with Wind Goddesses.

The Watchers of the Oceans, the Waterfall Rompers, the 'Sea Brigands', the Water Goddesses. The Guides of the Pantheon, the Water Goddesses tend to be most helpful in anyone's quests.

Water Goddesses can breed with Earth and Light Gods. But not with Fire Gods.

The Sentinels of the Inferno, the Volcano-Born, the 'Flame Throwers', the Fire Gods. The Warriors of the Pantheon, the Fire Gods tend to always be in a rush to prove themselves and their worth-- to what end, no one knows.

Fire Gods can breed with Dark and Wind Goddesses. But not with Water Goddesses.

The Shields of the Breezes, the Sky Seekers, the 'Air Heads', the Wind Goddesses. The Wanderers of the Pantheon, the Wind Goddesses hear the secrets carried on the tongues of air wafting everywhere-- but they keep their secrets hidden.

Wind Goddesses can breed with Fire and Light Gods. But not with Earth Gods.

The Paladins of the Morning, the Sun Touched, the 'Brilliant Mistakes', the Light Gods. The Peacekeepers of the Pantheon, the Light Gods are always on hand when a fight is about to break out-- but no one knows how they are aware of where the fights are to be.

Light Gods can breed with Water and Wind Goddesses. But not with Dark Goddesses.

Even the Gods and Goddesses need companions. Male Guardians bond with Gods, females with Goddesses. If a God or a Goddess is extraordinary, these Guardians can even grow larger and breed with other Guardians...

I write this in hopes that someone will read this, someone will remember-- someone will know what I did not before it's too late for them.

I don't remember how long ago it was, or even why I arrived at the foot of the mountain. Perhaps it was the rumors, the legends that there were higher beings who took up residence upon this mountain, that there was another world where you could find salvation.

Perhaps it was my own harshly twisted faith which dragged me there.

I'd always been taught to believe in the One, the God who created the world and left it after humans had tainted it. We were being punished for what our predecessors did-- but even now, human kind continued to taint this world with its very existence.

I was on a mission to save the world by bringing humans back to the One, to come together with them in prayer, in hopes that we would all be able to call back the grace of the One God. And yet at every turn, I came face to face with heathens, pagans who believed in these 'elemental Gods'. Some even claimed to have spotted these creatures on occasion, sometimes accompanied by horse-like creatures.

Blasphamy! I thought. So I sought to prove them wrong.

But the rumors grew and grew as I traveled further away from my home, further into the heathen lands. And soon, I found myself face to face with a mountain which did not exist on any map I'd procured.

I thought it was impossible. And then they surrounded me.

The Wind Spirits found me first in their wandering. They wouldn't speak to me until I finally managed to convince them that I was no harm to them. How could I be? I was a mere mortal, these were fae creatures-- not that I believed in the fae, but even so.

I learned of how the One God had indeed created this world-- and created six types of children to watch over it. Each type was granted power over a single domain-- and they became known as Gods and Goddesses after the One abandoned this world for another.

They taught me of their curious way of procreating-- a God and a Goddess of compatible elements would come together and join to create gemstones which housed some of their essence-- their Souls merging to produce other Souls.

From the Wind Goddesses, I heard the tale of how they quickly learned that not all elements were as compatible with each other as could be wished-- how the Wind and the Earth were too different from one another to merge, how the Fire and Water sought to calm the other and could not find balance, and how the Dark and the Light could not co-exist in enough harmony.

And they've told me, sadly, of course, that soon I'll be destroyed-- for that was the Elder Council decision. A mortal who has glimpsed the tops of Mount Alpha, seen the wonders which lie above the clouds cannot be allowed to live. So I write this, my last testimony, and set it free on the wind, in hopes that one day, it can be found...

And now for what you've been waiting for-- the Customs and Cosplays section. This is where you can customize a God or Goddess all on your own. But how? Follow the steps below. Please remember that Customs and Cosplays are very different.

1. Read all of the first page.
2. Check to see if a custom slot is open
3. Ready all materials you need for your custom (see below)
4. Post the required form exactly as stated.
5. Send the trade to omoideyume
6. Be patient.

If'n you be looking for a custom whose element is Fire, Water, or Wind, please see deadheaven's customs. For Dark, Earth, and Light, please see Jan the Verse's customs. For Guardians, please see brokenraven's customs.

The base price of a custom is 10K for all stages, 8K for only Child and God/Goddess, and 6K for only God/Goddess. Yes, I realize it has gone up. The base price of a custom Guardian is 5K. You can only get a Guardian as a Charm.

The base price of a cosplay is 15K for all stages, 13K for only Child and God/Goddess, and 11K for only God/Goddess.

Please note that cosplays will only be done once. There are some cosplays that are in the works that cannot be done. I will be compiling a list of them shortly.

That about sums it up, folks. Now onto the nuts and bolts.

A breeding slot costs 10K-- split it up between Mother and Father however you like. You will have three or four kids-- depending on what the randomizer says. You may even get five, if you're really lucky.

Gods and Goddesses mate for life. They must have been mates for at least two weeks before you can ask for them to be bred. If you want your God/Goddess pair to be mates, please post the following form:

If you want your mated pair to breed, you'll need to fill out another form-- raven likes forms. Gods and Goddesses can only safely breed twice in their lives, since it takes away from their Souls.
