A long time ago in a distant planet called Amalia, Dragons and their riders roamed about. Each with their own special abilities helping or perhaps destroying the land. Dragons would only adhere to the one that they felt should ride them, and would dispose of anyone that they thought were not worthy. Though no others could hear the dragons, the bond shared between rider and dragon was so strong they were able to communicate mentally. For some time it seemed as if all dragons and dragon riders had become extinct until one day... best friends Autumn and Ace were walking through the woods when they thought they heard the flapping of large wings. They thought they were just imagining things so they continued on with their walk. As they continued on though they came across a large opening in the forest that had never been there before. In the middle of that opening layed two stones. Feeling a strange energy being emitted from the stones they took them home and layed them in their room. Neither of them could sleep, wondering what the stones were... when all of the sudden they heard a rocking sound. They both sat straight up and stared through the darkness as they seen what they thought to be stones rocking back an forth. A split started down both the stones and when they cracked open, a baby dragon peeked its head out from each of the stones. Each dragon chose either Autumn or Ace and they bonded almost automatically. It was a hazard keeping the dragons a secret from there parents and the kept them hidden in the forest. Until one day a most terrible tragedy occured and the village was slain. Autumn and Ace took off on their dragons never to look back on their village again. They now set up home in a small area in the woods far away from their original home.

You are walking through the woods when you come across the small village that is home to Ace and Autumn. What you did not notice was that there were stones laying about that would one day become dragons. As far as you were concerned dragons were only a myth and had nothing to do with you. That is where you are wrong, the dragon riders are once more coming into reign and you are now in the middle of it. You look around as you hear the flapping of the wings. Then you see two dragons touch down near a building a person climbing off of each. They walk up to you and Introduce themselves, "Welcome to our home, I am Autumn and this is Ace, behind us are our dragons." You looked at them with astonishment, you had only ever seen these creatures in books. Ace took the initiative of continuing further, "We are dragon riders, bonded to our dragons and now we are looking to share that same bond with others like yourself. We do not know the origin of other riders but we are sure that they do exist, some for the good of Amalia, and some who wish to destroy it. It is up to you whether you choose the path of good or evil, and we wish you the best of luck, please have a look around and you may just possibly find the dragon that you will bond with." Ace and Autumn take the saddles off of their dragons, and the dragons take flight to the caves in the mountains high above. You are left to yourself to meander through this area looking at all the strange stones that are said to be the legendary dragon eggs.

This includes taking the pictures and or altering them in anyway. Stealing the Artwork will not be tolerated.

2. No Flaming, or trying to cause trouble.
It is not appreciated when you do this we want to keep the reputation of the Dragon Riders of Amalia a good one.

3. Roleplaying is required.
It is manditory for you to either post in your Dragons journal or RP. Your interaction with your Dragon is what helps grow the bond between you and help them become a healthy Dragon. You need to choose whether you post once a week or more in you journal, or be an active RP player.

4. No Begging, and or Pestering the owner.
We do not appreciate when people try to beg in the store. If you do not have the gold then go try and make it or beg somewhere else, just not in the store! We also don't like it when our pm box's are spammed, please read everything first and if you still have a question post it here. DO NOT PM THE COLORIST EITHER!

5. Once you own a Dragon you are not allowed to sell or trade.
If you no longer wish to own your Dragon or you are leaving gaia please inform us so that we may take the necessary steps in finding a new home for them. This will of course be difficult though because once the dragon is bonded to you, they may not want to be with anyone else.

6. Gaia's general TOS reguarding user behaviour still apply.
Please, I stress that you completely follow all of Gaia's rules.

If I see that any of these rules have been broken, I will first warn and then apply you to the grey list. If they are broken more than once you will be put on the blacklist!

What is a Dragon?

Oh dear me.. if you do not know that...XP A dragon is a winged beast of the world of Amalia. They are very smart creatures and know automatically who it is that will hold a bond with them. They were once thought to be extinct and now that they have returned, are a treasure to have in your company, as your bond and experience in battle grows, your dragon will learn new abilities. Each dragon is unique in its own ways and there are many different colors and types.

What are the different colors and types?

Purple: indicates spiritual thoughts. Purple is never a strong point in the Aura. It appears only as temporary "clouds" and "flames", indicating truly spiritual thoughts.

Blue: Balanced existence, sustaining life, eased nerve system, transmitting forces and energy. Dragons with blue strong point in their Aura are relaxed, balanced and feel ready to live in a cave and survive. They are born survivors. Blue thought is a thought about relaxing the nerve system to achieve the balance of the mind or a thought about surviving. Electric blue can override any other color in the Aura, when the person is receiving and/or transmitting information in a telepathic communication.

Turquoise: indicates dynamic quality of being, highly energized personality, capable of projection, influencing other dragons. Dragons with turquoise strong point in their Aura can do many things simultaneously and are good organizers. They feel bored when forced to concentrate on one thing. Dragons love bosses with turquoise Auras, because such bosses explain their goals and influence their team rather than demand executing their commands. Turquoise thought is a thought about organizing and influencing others.

Green: restful, modifying energy, natural healing ability. All natural healers should have it. Dragons with a green strong point in their Auras are natural healers. The stronger the green Aura, the better the healer. They also love gardening and usually have a "green hand" - anything grows for them. Being in a presence of a dragon with a strong and green Aura is a very peaceful and restful experience. Green thought indicates a restful state and healing.

Yellow: joy, freedom, non-attachment, freeing or releasing vital forces. Dragons who glow yellow are full of inner joy, very generous and not attached to anything. Yellow halo around the head: high spiritual development. A signature of a spiritual teacher.Yellow thought indicates a moment of joy and contentment.

Orange: uplifting and absorbing. Inspiring. A sign of power. Ability and/or desire to control dragons. When orange becomes a strong point, it usually contributes to a yellow halo, which then becomes gold, indicating not only a spiritual teacher, but a powerful spiritual teacher, someone capable of demonstrating his/her unique abilities. Orange thought is a thought about exercising power or a desire to control dragons.

Red: materialistic thoughts, thoughts about the physical body. Predominantly red Aura indicates materialistically oriented dragon.

Pink (=purple+red): love (in a spiritual sense). To obtain a clean pink, you need to mix the purple (the highest frequency we perceive) with red (the lowest frequency). Pink Aura indicates that the dragon achieved a perfect balance between spiritual awareness and the material existence. The most advanced dragons have not only a yellow halo around the head (a permanent strong point in the Aura) but also a large pink Aura extending further away. The pink color in the Aura is quite rare on Earth and appears only as a temporary thought, never as a strong point in the Aura.

Brown: unsettling, distracting, materialistic, negating spirituality.

Gray: dark thoughts, depressing thoughts, unclear intentions, presence of a dark side of personality.

Sulfur (color of mustard): pain or lack of ease, anger

White: serious disease, artificial stimulation (drugs). Why does the white color in the Aura indicate problems? White color is like a noise, rather than a set of harmonious tones (monochromatic colors). It is impossible to "tune" the noise to an orchestra playing harmonious music, hence the white Aura indicates a lack of harmony in the body and mind. Nature, which we are a part of, is harmonious. This harmony comes in discrete vibration "tones" or harmonics, partially described by the modern quantum physics.
Several hours before the death, the Aura becomes white, and greatly increases in intensity. For this reason in most cultures "death" is depicted in WHITE (not black), because in the past, people could actually see a white Aura before death. It seems that our ancestors knew much more than we are prepared to admit.

So are the aura's the dragons color?

O_o no Aura's are a dragon soul's color^^

What are the different abilities?

This all depends on how good a bond you are and what type of dragon you have, if you have an Elemental dragon then it's attacks will most likey be of that element.

RAINBOW SCALES!? WTF?!

Yes rainbow scales, they are very rare and are quested throughout the land, most never find any though... They are amble to give new abilities to a dragon and with 30 of them can do somethingextra special.. no one really knows what it is.. more details to come.

What are the different Stages of the Dragon?

stage 1- egg

of course every Dragon starts off as an egg, and it will take approximately a week depending on how well you care for the egg. Before the egg hatches the egg will glow the color of it's aura.

stage 2- child

Next stage is the adorable child, A child will stay in the form for about 2-3 weeks depending on how you bond with your dragon

stage 3- adolescent

O_o oh no please tell me I will make it through the time this Dragon is a teenager!? ^^; don't worry so long as your bond is well it will take them 2 weeks to a month to grow from this stage.

stage 4- adult

well this is the last stage, or is it? Your Dragon will stay at this stage for its entire life, unless that is you have an extremely great bond and they have awesome abilities. In this case they may have one more stage.

possible stage 5- Fable

This only occurs for the Greatest dragons that are found in Amalia, it is a very rare site to see, we hope that you may bond well enough with your dragon that one day, they will be able to reach this state. If you reach this stage your Dragon will glow the color of its Aura.

possible stage 6- True Bonded

Nothing is really known about this and is suposed to be a myth..But it is said that you can actually FUSE with your dragon to become a whole diffrent creature.

eh!? you mentioned a Fable in the stages... what exactly is a Fable?

heh, thought you might ask that, a Fable is a dragon that has grown to a very large size and is very strong.. It does not mean that it is old though.. It just means that the bond is very strong between it and it's bonder.

Most likely I will hold Adoption flatsales, and occasionally Auctions. Raffles will be a rare occurance if they are ever an occurance at all. I really like Auctions so I may have the most of those^^"

Can the Dragon breed?

Yes you will be able to breed these creatures though there are some conditions.

What kind of conditions?

The Dragons must be adults, and both know each other and get along for them to breed. As well as the owners agreeing on everything.

Is there any way a teen can breed?

yes that is if they are with a bad bond and with some conditions.

Where will we be able to do this?

There will be a thread for the Dragons to interact and to become friends, and possibly mates.

How much is it to breed?

3k for each breeding from each owner. You will get 1-5 eggs.

what are the conditions for the teens?

it is 4k from each owner instead of 3k.

Well who gets which egg?

It is up to the owners to decide which egg they get. If there is an odd amount of eggs then it is up to the owners to decide who gets which eggs. Please take consideration about who you breed with and talk it over before you decide. I do not wish for fights to start over this. if you get 3 eggs or more, then Autumn_Fox gets one of the eggs, and the others will be raffled.

How many pairs can breed at a time?

There is a list and only three pairs can breed at a time. We don't want to kill our colorist now do we? The colorist will work on them as she gets the time.

What if the List is full?

Well then you will just have to wait until a spot opens up^^

Journal

Each Dragon will each have a personal Journal of their own. In this Journal they interact with their riders and go on any adventures they have in their everyday life. I may also post in the journal from time to time to see how things are going, or perhaps to give you and your Dragon a message. If I believe that your Dragon is ready to learn something new I will post what you need to do and then you will go on the quest, posting your journey in your journal as you go. Posting in your journal is a very important thing because the more you do the more interacting you are doing with your Dragon and your bond will grow, and as such they will be able to learn things more quickly. The Journal Link to your Dragons Journal will be next to your Dragons name in the owners list. Only the owner may post in the Journal, this is unless the owner invites you to post in the journal with them. This is required, so please post in here at least once a week.

RP

If you choose this than you are required, if you choose the journal you do not have to RP as much, though it is encouraged. This is a way for all the Dragon's to interact with one another. Also they may go on adventures together. From time to time I may post a quest for all of them to go on together and may have very special prizes at the end of them. Events, and training oppurtunities may appear as well so it would be wise to at least check in once in a while. Click on the picture below to be taken to the RP thread. The rules of the RP will be listed in the thread.

If you have broken any of the rules this is your first warning. I am usually very leniant so being on the Grey List isn't that big of a deal but it is your one and only warning. If you do something one more time your name will be removed from this list and you will be Black Listed.

Grey List:

The Black List is a place that you definentally don't want to be. If you have broken the rules more than once or have just done something that I just can't stand you will be put on this list. If you do not own a Dragon you will never be allowed to own one and will be banned from posting in the shop or in any of the other shop areas. If you do own a Dragon your Dragon will be taken from you and will be adopted or auctioned to someone else. Please do not make me put you on this list!

]We have just recently discovered that their are miniature dragons that reside in these woulds as well as the Amalian species. This new species is called a guardian, and of course they will be the guardians to the Dragons of Amalia. If you would like an example of what a guardian looks like please look in Makai's Journal.

Also all the rules of the Dragons of Amalia apply here.

FAQ

1. What are Guardians?

Guardians are a type of miniature dragon who aid the Dragons of Amalia.

2. How many stages are there to the Guardians?

There are two stages to the guardians, egg and adult. The guardian will remain in the egg state for two to three days determining on how much you rp. The adult will of course stay that way for as long as you stay.

3. Do you have to own a Dragon to have a guardian?

No you may purchase a Guardian without owning a Dragon, but just to be reminded that they are their for the protection of the dragons.

4. Are Guardians rare?

Yes Guardians are very rare, we did not know that they even existed until yesterday. Of course because they are rare, they will be hard to come by, and may be pricy.

5. Just how much will the Guardians be?

well it all depends on how many eggs we find when we come across them, as well as how many are already available.

6. Can you custom order a Guardian?

Well I will have to talk this over with Sorka-chan. It will all be up to her, and all I have to say is that if their are customs then it will cost quite a bit.

7. Do you have to RP?

Yes RP'ing is required, they are of course supposed to be in alliance with your dragon. You really do not need to have a journal of their own, but you can rp the guardian in your dragons journal and in the rp sections.

8. Are there different types of Guardians?

Well they are all the same species of course and their abilities are defined by their individual personalities, and by the dragons they are guardians of.

9. Can I direct link?

No, once they are adults please upload them to your own server.

Flatsale Rules

1. No stealing.
2. Do not harrass others who are also looking to adopt
3. You may only adopt 1 Guardian per flatsale.
4. It is first come first serve so please do not get angry if someone posts that they would like to adopt the Guardian before you did. There will be other times for you to get one.
5. Do not get angry and yell because you did not make it in time for the one you wanted. Like I said there will always be others!
6. As soon as it has been confirmed that you are getting the Guardian please send the trade.

Auction Rules

1. No stealing.
2. No harrassing other bidders.
3. If you bid when there is only 30 minute left, I shall add another 30 minutes until there are no more bids.
4. You may only bid for one Guardian in an auction.
5. No retracting or editing bids!
6. Wait for me to announce the winners. Do NOT assume you have won. If it has been announced that you are indeed a winner, return to this thread and post a namefor your new Guardian. If you do not post a name within 1 week, it will be assumed that your Guardian has been abandoned and it will be put up for either auction or flatsale.
7. Send the trade as soon as possible once you have won the auction, if you do not pay within the first 2 days you will not receive your Guardian.

Can the Guardians Breed?

Yes they can.

Anything special that needs to occur?

Well they need to know each other and get along for a successful breeding.

How much will it cost?

There is not much known about breeding the guardians yet and so a price will be discussed when you wish to do so.

Who gets the eggs if they breed?

Well each one of the owners will get an egg, its up to you two to decide who gets what. If there are more than two then we get one of them and you decide what to do with the rest, if you decide to adopt these out, we will get a part of the profit as well as you.

How long will I have to wait?

Well there will be two lists, the breeding list, and the waiting to breed list. On the breeding list this will be what she is working on right now and the waiting list will be for those who want to breed but aren't on the breeding list. We do not want to overwork our colorist.
