Curemoar (singular) - Cure-eh-moe-are
Curemai (plural) - Cure-eh- my

oO I reserve the right to give Curemoar to anyone I choose, free or not. If I give someone a Curemoar for free, it's most likely because they're one of my sisters who really like Gaia but can't get on often enough to get up the money for one, or they're a very good friend of mine, and its their birthday or they need some luff.

question I've bought some things since ______, my Curemoar, became an adult.... Can I have him/her redrawn to include these things?
Absolutely! It'll cost you, though. How much? Depends on how many things I have to add. wink

question Can I reserve a cub?
Nope. But you can have someone try for it in your place if you can't be here. wink

question Can we co-own?
I don't see how you would be able to... unless your Curemoar has a split personality! 3nodding Then it's okay. I'd like it if you told me, though, so I can put both of your names in the cert. 3nodding If you want to co-own and don't fancy the idea of a split personality, twins are available through pet trades. Please, no more than two co-owners.

question Is there any way to get off the blacklist? Gold? Items? Eternal slavery? gonk
Nope. It's like a lion being a vegetarian and parents not embarrassing you at least once in your life.... Not gonna happen. If you're on the blacklist, trust me. You deserve it.

Cub: Very young Curemai generally try to avoid direct light, and tend to stick close to their caretakers. Small enough to fit in your hand, these are very fragile animals. They can’t speak yet, but they do develop a very strong empathic link with their people to communicate their needs and emotions. Curemoar cubs are very small... you could carry one around on your hand. oO The designs of a cub are fairly visible at this point.. but they are plain and unembellished. Curemai will remain cubs for at least 2 weeks, but the true growth period is undetermined.


Adolescent: At this age, Curemai are a curious bunch, and will try to get into /everything/, no matter how much you wish they didn’t. ^^ And I mean everything. They are beginning to become independent, and are exceedingly active at this stage. Adolescent Curemai are about the size of a large housecat. They can speak one or two words of human, if they try and you have spoken to them a lot. The design on their pelts are more visible now, and seem a bit fancier than they were before. An adolescent will remain at this stage for a minimum of two weeks, though the true growth period is as yet undetermined.


Adult: These personalities are wide and diverse! Adult Curemai don’t necessarily need you anymore... but that doesn’t mean they don’t love you! Extremely loyal creatures, they will always look out for you... even if you seem to be the star of their practical jokes and cutting wit sometimes. sweatdrop These buggers are about the size of the average Great Dane... watch those chops and be careful of those talons! ^^ At this stage, adult Curemoar are able to say a few broken sentences in rough human speak, but will still be pretty reliant on body language and the empathic link they share with you. Only the intellectual prodigies can speak fluent human..... and I haven’t seen but one of those yet. oO Unfortunately, that prodigy is also the queen of the blacklist. *twilightzone music * And please don’t make your Curemoar one of those prodigies.... If you have one, you will be made aware of that when your cub grows into an adolescent. Note that as a prodigy, your Curemoar will likely be shunned by most other Curemai. oO

But wait! There's an extra little something that happens just before your Curemoar becomes an adult! A scenario will be sent to you as usual, except this time it will be holding only two choices. Depending on the choice you pick, your Curemoar may grow into a regular adult like this...


Or a humanoid adult like this! eek


Humanoid adult Curemai can speak in relatively complete sentences, but they will, again, be more reliant on unspoken communications. Don't expect any long monologues from these guys! XD All designs on adult Curemoar are now visible, and nine times out of ten, very detailed.

On the differences between male and female Curemoar: I'm working on the principal that in the animal kingdom, besides coloring, there are very, very few differences between the male and female with some exceptions such as the peacock and the peahen, and the buck and doe. As these pets are individually drawn, there will be no identifiable 'male' pose or 'female' pose. I will try to express they’re gender in their poses, though. The only discernable difference between the sexes is that 9 times out of 10, the male's talons will be larger and longer than the female's talons and that in the humanoid adult form a female’s chest will be a little bigger, obviously. And get your mind out of the gutter you dork. XD

Oh! Before I forget- if your Curemoar grows into a humanoid adult, it will not be nekkid! As these pets are very furry, no covering is needed for the torso (just look at Psyche. See? You see NOTHING BAD! *hypnotizes you*) but your Curemoar will wear a loincloth/skirt type thingy. For the females this is optional (See Psyche’s pic: NOTHING BAD!) but its mandatory for the males.

What's this? Your Curemoar has been killed in an rp and you plan on keeping it dead? Never fear! If you pm this account saying that you’ve killed so and so off, you might get sent a new pic of your Curemoar, all ghostied and/or zombied up. They will still receive Adventure prompts randomly if you are active, but they will not grow if they were killed as a cub or an adolescent. ^^ They can also still recieve jewellry. ^^


Announcement: Due to the stresses of real life and my life here, I will be making a set of templates to use for those who do not roleplay their Curemai without a good reason. I just can't handle making a completely new lineart for someone who doesn't bother even stopping in. sweatdrop

To clarify- By roleplay, I don't mean only long posts filled with ultra-descriptive fun. Interacting with your Curemoar on the *does something* level is acceptable, too! Just as long as I know that your companion isn't wasting away in your sig. sweatdrop

Custom linearts for all will eventually be reinstated, when I have the time. Right now, I just can't do it. Thank you.

These will not be rp intensive pets, but you will need to interact with them at least once to get them to grow to the next stage. This once will be when I pm you with a "Choose Your Own Adventure" scenario, after which your Curemoar will grow.

The answers you choose in these scenarios (if you interact with your pet a lot, I may send you scenarios more often...Maybe. oO I'll tell you if they are growth scenarios. ^^) your Curemoar may grow up to be Good, Bad, or Neutral.

Each stage of growth beyond cub-hood will be completely customized- hence the price. oO Any items you give your Curemoar will show up in the lineart, as will any scars/missing limbs/ etc. However, if you don't rp your pet, they will only be customized so far as their growth scenarios allow.
