Welcome to H.E.R.O. P!

Welcome to the H.E.R.O.P! Charity (Helping Everyone Rich Or Poor). We opened on April 16, 2007 and are dedicated to helping Gaians, whether you're a newbie and it's your first week or you're a quester who has been here for months. We are going to try to keep you all busy with multiple contests and lots of interesting conversations. Since you have already stopped in...All you have to do is follow the rules and most importantly, HAVE FUN!

NEWS & UPDATES:

2/8/08 We have officially reopened! Come on in, apply, chat, make friends, and win! We'll be giving out random donations all today and tommorrow. From just simply talking you could get anything from 100g to 3k, daily chance items to rare valuables.

The Rules

Rule 1- Follow Gaia TOS. Anyone who violates TOS will be reported.
Rule 2- Please be respectful to everyone. You will not even be considered if you only come here to start trouble.
Rule 3- No begging. No posting 'wishlists'. Do not ask other people in the thread for donations. To get a donation fill out the form and chat!
Rule 4- You are allowed to bump but not excessively. If people are having a conversation, please do not bump in the middle of it.
Rule 5- Please be literate, no chat speak or 1337. You don't have to be a fantastic speller, but we will need to understand you're writing
Rule 6- Do not advertise in the thread without asking first.
Rule 7- If we see that you've been hitting up all of the charities...you get nothing. Chat here and make friends.
Rule 8- This rule is just for donation applicants. You must hang around the thread for the required amount of days after you send in your application. We want this to be a place for you to make friends and have fun, not just where you can just grab and go with you donation. All I can say is, the more activate you are the more favorable your application will look. Secret word is Hiro. If it's been more than 3 or 5 days since you applied and you haven't heard from us, check the Donation Status section. If you are not listed, send us a PM.

If you break any rules, you will be warned ONCE. If you continue breaking the rules after that, you will be banned.

My name is Jeff. I'm 27 and live in Denver, Colorado. I finally got married to the love of my life last September and am now working on having children. In my spare time I love to play video games and read anything that has to with history or sci-fi. R.A. Salvatore is my favorite author. I also love drag racing. One day I will own a a race car. I joined Gaia on the 17th of February and have met a lot of new friends. I have always enjoyed helping people achieve their goals and dreams. I must have donated over 100k in pure and items by now. When ZombieKillerEx said that she wanted to start a charity, I knew I finally had a partner that I could start a charity with. So I hope everyone enjoys our little spot on Gaia and thank you for taking the time to read this.

If it isn't obvious to you, "Heroes" is a list of people who we respect and appreciate and this is just our way of honoring them. So "Villians" is a list of people who have caused trouble in one shape or another. They are blacklisted, no longer allowed in the thread, and you should probably try to avoid them unless you happen to have a bag of rotten tomatoes.

The HEROP! Lottery

Each month (roughly) we will hold a lottery. Tickets are 100g each and you can pick your numbers as long as they aren't already taken. The lottery will end on the 31st of the lottery month (e.g. March 31st for a March lotto). On that day, we will use the random number generator to select the 3 winners. The prizes depend on how many tickets we sell. So the more tickets, the bigger the prize! Our goal is to sell at least 200 tickets. If you wish to purchase a ticket please send a trade to "UnknownHero13" and put "Lottery tickets #" with the #(s) you want for your tickets in the title.
