- The Story -
The story takes place in the far reaches of the Illea system on the smallest of the triple planets, Soi. The planet is ruled by the kindly king Marus and his two daughters, Senna and Sereene. The relationship between Soi and it’s two neighboring planets, Koi, and Doi, have always been friendly. And once a year, the royalty of all three planets would get together and celebrate their prosperity. The yearly meetings insured that the young Sereene became good friends with Prince Carver of Doi, and Prince Kerr of Koi. Everything went perfectly until Kerr’s father, King Karse, decided that he didn’t want to rule just his own planet. So he declared war.
Karse was quickly defeated by the point of Marus’s sword, unfortunately right before young Kerr’s eyes. Kerr was aware of nothing of the war, the only thing he knew was that Marus had killed his father. Koi crumbled into ruins after the war and became prisoner to gangs of rebels with the same ideals as their fallen king.
13 years later, after a long disappearance, Kerr reappears on Soi, plotting to take down the people who damned his father and his home world, and is willing to do anything to do it.
Kerr Plot: After his reappearance on Soi, he plans to use Sereene to get close to her father so that he can kill him and avenge his home. Unfortunately for him, old feelings start to resurface for his first love and he’s forced to put his revenge plot aside.
Sereene Plot: With the sudden sickness of her father, Sereene is forced to speed up the process of her arranged marriage with long time friend Prince Carver. But as soon as Kerr pops back into the picture she’s forced to pick between her feelings and what’s best for her people.
Carver Plot: Carver is the villain of the story. When Kerr shows up again on Soi, Carver's the one that Sereene plans to marry. But his caring romantic demeanor is just an act. All he wants from Sereene is her planet, her money, and an heir.
