I've been inspired by Lovedoc and the two threads of hers that I am subscribed to, to start this giveaway charity and contests thread.
And so here I go.
Of course, as I stated, the idea for this came from being in Lovedoc's threads, and the fact that I feel kinda squishy and happy whenever I give someone
something, and they're really thankful and happy for it. So I made this thread. This is for people who need help, and it'll partly help me too.
It started with that, and then I asked for helpers in a guild that I'm in, and everyone kept giving me ideas on what to do and whatnot. And now this is the
work in progress product. xD
Here is how this is going to work. Right now, this is strictly for newbies because I'm not rich enough yet to get really good items.
That's where the mule comes in. I've made a mule to collect donations so that it can buy items that are worth people's time, to give away in this thread.
Right now it only has 40k worth in small items. But if people are generous and help this thread, members will benefit from it!
My main account will receive 5% of any each donation of gold that is over 5,000, and the rest will stay on the mule.
For example, if someone sends the mule 5,000 gold, I get 250 gold from it. Because I am also on quests too. But the majority of the gold remains on the mule.
If the mule receives any donations below 5,000 gold, they stay on the mule because there is no fair percentage of gold from that to be donated to be, because that would take away
what the giveaway needs to get better things for the members.
I'm telling you this now, because honesty is the best policy. xD;
I wouldn't want anyone thinking this is a scam. I've been working very hard on this for a week and half, figuring out how to do this right so that many people benefit from it. x3
Next.
For now we're going to only have small prizes for contest winners, we're going to be having a few simple contests to get this thread going and start getting it known and hopefully
let people decide to donate a bit to the mule to help us get better things to give to participants. :3
