Why the Phoenix Charity you ask? Allow me to explain.
The day before halloween I was permanently banned. I lost everything, my gold, all the items I worked for, even the things people helped me to get. All because of a misunderstanding. I was accused of trolling, but I don't do that, I'm above that. After many attempts to talk it over, I was ignored. But I refused to quit. I was gonna get back up and start working for everything back. And I did, with the help of many generous people. If you'd like to see my thread and all the people that helped me, click here. I'm making this a tribute to all these awesome people.
Anyways, the situation I found myself in got me thinking somehow of other people, who's lives aren't as good as mine. They don't get computers, some don't even get families, some have no money, some have just lost everything. Yet there are a few people that still have faith, a few people that refuse to quit.

It's rare to find someone who's lost everything, literally everything, yet still gets up and tries again, tries to get back on their feet when they have NO hope, but they have faith things will turn around and go back to the way it was before. They're willing to start over, even if they have to beg for a dollar. It's rare to find people like that. Most people would just say it's hopeless, my life is over.

Now I'm aware that getting banned and Gaia and losing an inventory is nothing compared to real life, where there's people on the streets that have absolutely nothing, But the concept is kind of in a way the same. In a way...

So that's how I came up with the theme of The Phoenix Charity

It's time I stopped asking for stuff and wanting more and more, and start selflessly giving. I've been obsessed with items lately, and I want to break that habit.

So welcome, everyone, to The Phoenix Charity

Yes I did make rules. You didn't think you could just do what you wanted in here did you? Then you're sadly mistaken. Follow these rules, cuz these are also in the TOS (Terms of Service)

1. Do NOT beg in here. This may be a charity, but that doesn't mean you can go begging for things. If I find you worthy, you'll get a donation. So just shut up and chat. Don't beg. Do not PM me either, unless it's to chat or ask a question about the charity or something else or whatever. I welcome PMs as long as you don't do it to harass me.

2. Do not flame others. Especially for no reason. Personally I don't see anything wrong with flaming if the person is being a moron, because I believe in telling it like it is, but for the sake of all of you I'll enforce this rule, because I don't want anyone banned like I was. That would suck.

3. No trolling. Trolling is making a hateful or offensive post on purpose, or saying something just to piss someone off. Such as "Wow your ugly, your mom must be ugly too, haha." Of course it wouldn't piss everyone off. A lot of people would laugh it off. But it's still trolling. Don't do it, or I'll just tell you to GTFO, and block you if you refuse.

4. Respect everyone here! If I make a charity the least you can do is respect me. If I or someone else asks you to stop doing something, don't continue just to be an a**. It's not funny. Just don't.

5. Scamming-no. This one should be frickin obvious. If you think it's ok, then you're a moron. If I so much as sense a scam, I'll warn you to knock off the games. And if I found out someone here was scammed, your e-head is gonna roll.

6. Do not advertise in my thread. If you have the audacity to advertise in my thread without my consent, I won't hesitate to report you. If you want your thread in the linklist, let me know please.

7. Be literate. Abusing the English language with horrendous grammar and spelling does not make you look cool. It makes you look like an annoying attention whore. If you can't spell as well as other people than fine, but at least make sure people understand what the hell you're talking about.

8. No harassing anyone. This one should be obvious as well.

9. Last but not least, please don't make all your posts bumps. Bumping to get the thread up is definitely allowed, but if you're not gonna actually make conversation, then please just leave. It gets annoying after a while. I encourage you to have more meaningful posts.

I'll add more rules if I need to, but you catch my drift. Just to let you know, I won't take your bullshit, so leave it at the door.
