Hullo there! I'm the owner of two high end breedables, the Forgotten Documents and the Legends. I'm currently in search of a new full-time artist for the Legends, as well as someone to be a part-time artist at the Forgotten Documents. What would this entail?
Legends's full time artist: You'd be responsible for helping to create new Legends that users will look after in the Gaian RP universe as well as keep up with the growths of the Legend ( there are four stages of growth which you will have to draw over an indetermined span of time: baby, child, teen, and adult ).
Forgotten Documents's part-time artist: Lizzi, the main artist of the Feedee, is often grounded for terrible reasons and is gone for long periods, so I'm on the lookout for someone who could fill in for her on a whim to bridge the gap, so her disappearances aren't so disruptive. You could be called upon at any time for an indeterminate amount of time [at the moment Lizzi's grounded for a month]. There are seven stages of growth, which, as a part-time artist, you will not have to fill all of them. [They are: baby, toddler, child, preteen, teen, young adult, adult.] You would be asked to draw one stage of a Feedee who is waiting to grow, but cannot because of our main artist's absence.
If you are an artist who wishes to be the full-time artist for the Legends but can also help me out whenever I need it with the Forgotten Documents, you are more than welcome to apply for both positions on your application!!
Perks! You will be allowed to draw your own Legend and/or Forgotten Document if chosen as one of our artists. [Conditions apply.] And, obviously, any profits made from the sale of Legends drawn by you will be yours, ^^.
Requirements for the Legends position:
1. This is not a guest artist position. This is essentially full-time. Please don't apply if you cannot make the time commitment. Please also be aware that growths [updates of art] will not happen in a short period of time, so your workload will vary over a course of time. You must be able to make the time commitment to this project.
2. You need to be easily available through AIM or MSN or regularly checked PMs. Not because we want to bother you, simply because we need to be able to contact you about shop events, etc.
3. We like nice friendly people who play well with others. heart
Being an artist for the shop is not without it payment. If you're selected to become an artist for the Legends you can and will receive payment for your work, depending on the means by which your Legends are sold [ex. flatsale, auction, etc.].
Requirements for the Feedee's position:
1. You must be able to make the time commitment. The project has been running for over two years now and most of our Feedee children are still babies. This is almost soley due to the distruptions caused by our main artist's evil, abnoxious parents. If you can be around and helping at all times, that's fantastic! If you can be around when I need to call on you, that's fine!
2. You need to be easily accessible by AIM, MSN, or PMs. This is very important, because if I need to contact you and it takes me a week to get in touch, I essentially lose valuable time while mine is put on hold. Not that you have to be around 24/7, just enough for me to catch you in a reasonable timeframe, X3.
3. You must be a fairly fast worker! It's all fine and dandy if I assign you someone to grow, but if it takes you months to finish one piece of artwork, then a lot of people become impatient, ):. The breedables is a fairly fast paced environment in terms of growths, so while we're still far behind in that catagory, we don't want to make growth promises to a guardian and have them on the edge of their seat for a month, or something.
4. You must be kind, be easy to talk to, and play well with others, <33.
New! If you want to impress us even more, or want to show you're serious about this position, include artwork of a current Feedee and/or Legend, or design your own in the style you will be using. [We especially want to make sure you can draw both animals and humans.] This is not required for the application; just think of it as, it'll make your application look even better come decision time! ^__^ That, and you're already getting practice, ehehe.
